The car was great
The car was great, the pickup was great. We picked up in Palermo, and dropped off in a different place, at the Catania Airport; we had to consult ChapGPT to find our where to drop the car because we couldn't find that information on the Locauto website of instructions. Otherwise, everything was flawless.

Staff is courteous
Staff is courteous. Car was clean and maintained. Drop off at Bari train station a real problem. In addition we left a carry on in the first car in Palmero before everyone realized it was a manual and moved us to another car that was automatic as we had ordered. The next day after arriving in Catania we calmed the location in Palmero to enquire if they could help find the carry on with my meds and glasses and never heard back from them.

Dear Wayne, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you found our staff courteous and your car clean and well-maintained, though we are deeply sorry for the difficulties you experienced during your drop-off in Bari and with your left luggage in Palermo.
We apologize for the lack of follow-up and the frustration this has caused, and we appreciate your patience.
We hope to welcome you back for a much better experience next time!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased to hear that you found our staff at Palermo Airport to be nice and kind.
However, we sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with the motor oil, windshield washer fluid, and warning lights. This is certainly not reflective of our usual safety and preparation standards, as all vehicles should be delivered in optimal running condition.
We take your comments seriously and are addressing this with our local team to strengthen our pre-rental inspection procedures.
Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we hope to welcome you back for a seamless experience on your next trip.

freundlich
Ruhige freundliche Übergabe, gutes Auto, freundliche Retournahme. Jedoch wurde bei Übergabe versucht Zusatzversicherungen zu verkaufen, obwohl man Zusatzversicherungen bereits gebucht hatte. Deshalb ein Stern weniger.

Dear Klaus,Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your kind words regarding our team and the quality of the vehicle. We would like to clarify that our staff is trained to explain rental terms and conditions with full transparency, detailing exactly what is included in your contract and what is not.
Regarding insurance coverage purchased through third-party brokers, Locauto does not have visibility into the specific terms of those policies, as they represent a direct agreement between the customer and the broker. For this reason, our team offers official Locauto coverage options to ensure you have direct protection with us.
We truly value your input as we continually strive to improve our service, and we hope to welcome you back soon for a 5-star experience!
