I was trying to make a purchase online
I was trying to make a purchase online. It wanted me to go to the app to verify it. This did not work. I got a red error message at the top of the app telling me something went wrong. I contacted support who take weeks to reply. After 2 months this issue is still not resolved. Would not recommend using Kroo Bank. Absolutely awful customer support.

Poor service and inadequate staff training
Started well with excessive promises!…. Should have known there was only one way to go.
Eventually closed account after substantial reduction in interest rate added to poor service. Had to request services minimum 2/3 times to get satisfaction!
I’m sure the staff are good people but their training appears to be nonexistent!
Doubled my interest rate and have better technology with my new bank. Wish I’d done it sooner!
Updated after below response….. I’ve checked for the reply referred to but found it was a ‘bot’ response asking ‘how did we do’ 🤦♀️😖

Worst bank I have ever had the displeasure to use the customer service is virtually non existent they say use the app takes them a week respond if they respond at all took 3 months to replace my bank card

I wanted to share what has happened to me today because I feel people should be aware.
My Kroo account was randomly flagged for a security review. I completely understand that banks have to carry out checks to keep accounts safe, and I cooperated fully with everything they asked from me.
The problem started after the review was completed. My account was released and I was able to see my money again, but when I tried to make a normal transfer from my own account, it triggered another review and my account was placed back on hold.
I am now back in the same position, unable to access my money, despite already completing the checks requested. I was told the issue had been raised as urgent, but I still don’t have a clear timescale for when I will be able to access my funds again.
I understand security checks are necessary, but the lack of access to my own money and the uncertainty around when this will be resolved has been extremely stressful.
I’m sharing this as a warning for anyone considering using Kroo as their main bank account — make sure you have another account available, because being locked out of your main account is incredibly worrying.
Hopefully this gets resolved soon, but I wanted to share my experience.

Messed up my repayment date on my loans making 2 in a month accepted their mistake for no response in good time but response hey ho we are busy now chasing loan and putting me in hardship when their fault

Been with Kroo for about 3 years now. Could not be happier, very competitive interest rates on Current account credit balance. Opening account was done on my phone, a simple process, opened my ISA, also pain free. The phone app itself is very intuitive and full of features, unlike some 'traditional' high street banks 'efforts' . Transfers to other UK account are very fast.
