I got a free upgrade of the car and that was nice. The waiting time for the shuttle is a bit too long and the overall time between Terminal and taking the car is quite long. Making up some issues with my credit card and trying to sell a very expensive extra insurance were a bit annoying.

We had a great experience with Klass Wagen during our trip. The Kia Sportage we rented was in excellent condition, very comfortable, and had great fuel mileage, which made our road trips much easier.

They also provided a car seat for our baby, which was extremely helpful for our family and made traveling much more convenient. The pickup and return process was smooth, and the staff were professional and friendly.

Highly recommend Klass Wagen if you’re looking for a reliable and family-friendly car rental company!

Watch out, they are scammers. Horrible experience, I am often traveling abroad for work and I never have encountered such a bad and unprofessional company. Do yourself a favor and avoid them, especially if you are Dutch.

They are not at the airport but a shuttle ride quite far away. I booked through rentcars and had a good coverage there for insurance claims, and as expected they try to talk youbinto buying additional insurance with them. However, this would have been more than 50% the price of my reservation. They then proceed to mention that they have the original booking but I can only get it if I have a credible card with my full name. Dutch credit cards are always issued with initials and then your last name, so this was not possible. They kept asking for a statement which does not exists and if I could not provide it, they would not respect my reservation and I could only get the car for double the price they also refused to use their own brains and deduce from all provided identification, me showing the apps and all other proof that it was my credit card. Worst of all is when I called rentcars who asked if they could speak to someone from Klasswagen, and the employees just refused, got offended and mentioned they have no business with hem eventhough they offer their services through their platform. I asked if they wanted to helo me and they made it very clear that they did not, so I had to leave and get another booking. When calling with rentcars and with my bank they both said the same thing, watch out because they are trying to scamm you. This was further shown because I heard 2 other customers right after me having similar experiences and also being coerced into buying the more expensive option, some not even eligible to get a refund.

An excellent service provider—no complaints whatsoever.

SCAM COMPANY!!!!!! We rented a car in Vienna, and their business model is to rent the car out cheaply and then charge you for damages you didn’t cause. They do everything they can to cheat and deceive you. Stay far away from this company

I had a very good experience with this company. The whole process was clear, smooth, and without any issues. Communication was excellent, and the team was professional and trustworthy.

I got along perfectly with them, and they were very helpful from start to finish. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality services!

Klass Wagen where cars are cheap to rent but you feel ripped off after…WILL NEVER RENT WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!
We rented a Peugeot 2008 or similar! When we got at the company in Bucharest, a very nice employee Daniel done with us the papers! He didn’t insist to buy their insurance of 3x more the renting price as they used to do before!!! All good until here!!! He offered us a Renault Clio as Peugeot 2008 wasn’t available! Explained that Renault Clio is not similar with Peugeot 2008 and he gave us a Kia which was similar with what we rented! The car had a lot of small scratches! We showed him that some scratches are not documented in his papers and after giving us the car he finished with us and moved on to another customer( not more than 2 min with us in front of the car)! WHEN we returned the car, a new employee IULIAN checked the car for 25 min! Explained to him that it’s not possible to check the car for 25 min as we need to be transported to the airport to get our flight otherwise we gonna miss the plane! Explained that when we got the car, they didn’t stay for 25 min with us to check the car in slow motion(just to find something)! IULIAN CHECKING THE CAR FOR THIS LONG, found a very small scratch on the front left wheel which we didn’t have a picture to show that is was there when we got the car from them! Explained that we found some scratches which are not documented in their paperwork and this ONE can be missed by them as well! They said that we gonna be charged as long we don’t have a picture as proof that it was there when we got the car! Reminded to the new employee IULIAN AGAIN that we need to be at the airport as we gonna miss out flight! We felt that they REALLY wanted to find something after checking the car for 25 min to charge us as we didn’t get their insurance(3x than the renting price)!!! After 4 working days we got an email saying that they they gonna charge us €450 for repairing that small scratch on the wheel! WILL NEVER RENT WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!! STAY AWAY OF THIS COMPANY…AND FROM THE NEW EMPLOYEE IULIAN!!!

Ich habe im Februar 2026 ein Fahrzeug bei Klass Wagen in Wien gemietet (gebucht über billiger-mietwagen.de).

Bei der Rückgabe wurde ein Kratzer beanstandet, der laut meinem Abholvideo bereits vor Mietbeginn vorhanden war. Für den Schaden sollten 100 € Schadenersatz plus 150 € Administrationsgebühr verrechnet werden – ohne Videobeweis hätte sich der ursprünglich günstige Mietpreis rechnerisch um etwa 250 % erhöht.

Die Rückgabe wurde sehr genau dokumentiert, insbesondere wurden auch die Felgen gründlich überprüft. Eine ähnlich sorgfältige Prüfung des Fahrzeugs vor der Übergabe an mich hätte ich ebenfalls erwartet.

Die Kaution von 2.500 € wurde nach Vorlage meines Videos und einer internen Prüfung schließlich storniert und vollständig freigegeben.

Nebenbei fand der gesamte Schriftverkehr zum Schadenfall ausschließlich auf Englisch statt, obwohl es sich um einen Standort in Österreich handelt.

Insgesamt wurde der Fall zwar letztlich korrekt gelöst, der Ablauf hat jedoch gezeigt, wie wichtig eine eigene Videodokumentation des Fahrzeugzustands sowie eine externe Vollkaskoversicherung sind.
