A very valuable app and service
A very valuable app and service. Because it’s made by parents for parents, it ticks nearly all needed criteria for finding the right babysitter or nanny.
It takes away the burden and worry of hiring someone not reliable from a security perspective. Other parents reviews and how often the sitter has a repeat family are extremely valuable.

Commissions more than double increased…
Commissions more than double increased in the last year and it’s not worth it as if you cannot rebook the same sitter and always pick a new one you spend more in commissions than in actual hourly fees

Bubble nanny agency - do not use
This review is in relation to Bubble’s nanny agency. DO NOT USE their nanny agency. I have had 3 horrible experiences relating to only 1 placement!
First they placed me with a nanny who then left us after a month due to her not having the skillset to deal with toddlers. The nanny was very unprofessional and resigned in front of my 3 year old child, citing her as the reason.
I was then given a replacement nanny who wasn’t amazing but she seemed decent enough. She ended up being the worst nanny we could have come across - after a few months she became very moody and would regularly shout at me and be disrespectful. She would get in a mood and ignore the children towards the end. She also let us down on multiple occasions - including when I gave birth.
Another of the candidates they sent me was presented as a “star” nanny but I realised she was my best friend’s former nanny who had just walked out on the family with no notice or explanation. My friend confirmed Bubble never reached out to her for a reference.

Hi Yasmine. We were so sorry to learn that your most recent nanny left you. We totally understand how disruptive and stressful these things can be and we take all cases like this and feedback really seriously.
As part of our service, all nannies are rigorously vetted and reference checked. References are first requested in writing, and then gathered in person once a candidate starts to progress through the hiring process with any given family.
Furthermore, all parents will always interview and trial every nanny they go on to hire.
Ultimately, whilst of course we make every effort to present parents with only outstanding candidates, the needs, preferences and sensibilities of every family are different and it will - and always should be - the parents’ decision on whom they hire for their family.
In your case, with your most recent nanny, you employed her for over a year. We’re of course not in a position at that point , nor should we be, to exert any kind of control over the relationship between parent and nanny, which we know sadly can break down for multiple reasons. Of course, if it does, we will then go out of our way to try and support a parent in these instances, which is what we tried to do in your case.
We’re extremely proud of the service our nanny agency provides to both parents and nannies and we take the utmost care to ensure candidates are of high quality and suitable - although we of course understand that, unfortunately, matches will not always work out in the long term.
Again, we’re genuinely sorry to hear of your experience, but at the same time feel as though we must stress that the accusations you’ve made in your review are not true and are totally counter to the way we work every single day.
