The exams are set by the relevant examining authority, and will be a test of the theory and application of whichever certification you have been studying.
I got Prince2 Foundation and Prince2…
I got Prince2 Foundation and Prince2 Agile Practitioner.
I would never do this again. They put quite some work into the videos but thats about it. For the Prince2 Agile Practicioner they have added a supporting material as a guidance to the book for the sections, that I could not find in the book. Additionally, I would like to know where their mock exam questions came from, some of them they just do not make sense and are very complicated to understand, I would add some examples here, but I am not sure if I can share it publicly.
Anyhow, afterwards I found some random mock exams and they helped me to prepare better.
My approach next time would be: get a book and find some mock exams online, that should be more than enough.

All our accredited courses, such as PRINCE2 and PRINCE2 Agile, undergo a strict accreditation process with the relevant examining body to ensure they meet the high standards required in terms of learning content and exam preparation.
The questions on the exam simulators come from sample papers provided by the accrediting bodies (who set the official exams) and others are written by our trainers. The questions in the simulator will not be the same as the ones in the real exam, so it is extremely important that delegates learn the theory taught in the course, so it can then be applied to any question that gets asked.
We do offer a free tutor support service to any of our eLearning customers who would like some additional help or explanation on any of the content or exam simulator questions. Just drop us an email at tutorsupport@ilxgroup.com.
Disappointed
The course I took was clunky and dated and I struggled with the terminology. I requested an extension when I hit 12 months but they just wanted hundreds of pounds more off me. No support, no slight extension or interest in helping me, they just took my employers money. As someone that works in private education we would never leave a learner to fail but this company really doesn’t care.
Really disappointed.

All of our accredited courses, such as the PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner training you purchased, undergo a strict accreditation process with the relevant examining body. This ensures they meet the high standards required in terms of learning content and exam preparation.
Our eLearning courses all come with a 12-month licence - this is clearly stated on our website, as well as on the purchase confirmation that all customers receive. The PRINCE2 F&P course has 32 hours of learning content, so there is sufficient time within a 12-month period to complete it. Licence extensions are available, but they're chargeable at a competitive rate.
We also offer support to learners who are struggling with the content. I can see on our system that in response to your initial enquiry about a licence extension that my colleague made you aware of our free tutor support service, but it doesn't look like you took her up on that offer. If you are still within your licence length, then please do get in touch with us either at contactus@ilxgroup.com or at tutorsupport@ilxgroup.com and someone on our team will put you in touch with a relevant course tutor.
Mock exams aren't using the correct questions
Unfortunately the mock exams they do, do not match any of the questions in the actual exam.
I passed around 20 mock exams on ILX before sitting the foundation Prince2 module and not 1 single question came up the same.
The course is 1400 pages with so much information I don't think anyone could retain and you can't use the E-book or any notes for the exam.
I'm pretty annoyed if I'm honest, why would you not use the questions that actually come up in the exams for a mock exam, makes no sense to me.
Would not use again.

Great learning experience
I have been working through PRINCE2 7th edition Foundation through ILX, and it has been a straightforward experience from start to finish. The online platform was simple to navigate and the instructions efficient. Overall, I feel well prepared for my exam and appreciate the excellent customer service. PRINCE2 Project Management
In 2024 I decided to update my PRINCE2 project management qualifications. I ordered from PRINCE2 Australia but learned that this is facilitated by ILX UK.
I had to contact ILX to resolve my issues with missing course materials; these issues were handled quickly (given the time differences between the UK and Australia) and I soon had access to all that I had ordered and paid for.
The ILX portal learning portal is a good resource and the materials presented are well constructed and have enabled me to progress with my learning and professional development.
It would be good to see a refresh of the materials and also the ability to take a course 'offline' i.e. to learn 'on the go'.
My experience with ILX has been good and they have been able to answer my questions.
