Formal Complaint – Incorrect Contact Number in Car Advertisement and Lack of Customer Support
Dear Customer Service Team,

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the service I have received after publishing an advertisement under your “Cars for Sale” category.

Unfortunately, the contact number displayed in my advertisement is incorrect. I have tried calling your team several times but have received no answer. I have also sent numerous emails explaining the issue, yet no action has been taken to resolve it.

What is particularly disappointing is that the advertising fees were collected promptly, while my requests for assistance have been ignored. As a paying customer, I expected a reasonable level of customer service and timely action to correct this error.

The incorrect contact number is affecting the effectiveness of my advertisement and may be causing me to lose potential buyers.

I therefore request that you take immediate action to correct the contact number and confirm once the correction has been made. If this cannot be resolved promptly, I expect an appropriate explanation and consideration of a refund or extension of my advertisement period to compensate for the inconvenience caused.

I hope you will treat this complaint seriously and resolve the matter without further delay.

Placed an ad to list house for rent. Nothing about a fee mentioned before. Afer placing ad I receive an SMS saying pay Rs. 5200. Customer service rude and lack basic customer service skills (e.g. empathy, courtesy). I was not told about the complaints procedure. When I asked, she said phone the hotline or write an email to make a complaint.

Ikman doesn't allow to rate members. Members sometime mislead cusotmers.

Does not allow for any type of ad. All the ads are rejected. Title, Content, Price or images will be changed once published.

The ikman app has become terrible now; the previous version was much more convenient. I used to search on it very often, but now I'm looking for alternative solutions.

I placed an ad to sell my property in Colombo in November 2025. Paid total fees requested around 13,000 Rupees.
I received many requests to pay extra $6000 or more to 'boost' my ad. after 2 months they have now advised my ad has expired.
There is no mention of any expiry date stated when signing up for the account or making payment.
I find this is a misleading and illegal way of getting people to pay again. Reporting this to relevant government authority.
I am sharing this for anyone out there to know.
Please use a credit card to make the payment and go through your bank and dispute it for not providing service agreed if this occurs to you.

Very bad customer team. They only consider money. Not at all think about customers.

I've been trying to place an advertisement from overseas. The service team doesn't respond. They just send a message saying to call them and I'm telling them I'm overseas, literally begging them to respond via whatsapp chat, but then they just simply ignore it. Tried calling them and then I'm on hold. What is the point if I have to waste money on an international call to clarify something they can easily respond via text or voice message on whatsapp ???? Last week I was trying to place the same advertisement and chatted with an agent through the chat option on the website portal. Once again I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get one response!!!! Terrible service.

I would even give 0 star if i have it up there, not one of the worse it is the “WORST” and fraud company that Srilanka or any other country could ever have, Just a warning for people whoever is trying to pay them to post Ad through their website I’ve got robbed by them 3 days back and they’re not even responding any of my emails or calls, Please try to avoid to use IKman as much as possible
Specially people living in Overseas

Ikman.lk is by far the worst property-selling platform I have ever used. As someone living overseas trying to sell property, the experience has been nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional.

First of all, their system is ridiculously outdated—every time I need to edit or upgrade my listing, I have to contact the admin like it's some ancient website from the early 2000s. Why can’t they have a simple user dashboard where sellers can manage their own ads?

Secondly, the client base is extremely poor. Despite paying for promotions, the responses are minimal to non-existent. It’s clear that Ikman.lk does not attract serious buyers, making it a complete waste of time and money.

If you're looking to sell property efficiently, stay far away from Ikman.lk. There are much better platforms out there that actually care about their users and provide real results. Ikman.lk is a scammy, poorly managed site that only brings headaches. Zero stars if I could!

Save yourself the trouble—AVOID!

I’m writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the service I received. I paid for a Top AC package expecting the visibility and benefits that were promised. However, the ad was not listed as a Top Ad, and this is not just a minor glitch—it’s a failure to deliver on what I paid for.
What made the situation worse was the completely unhelpful response from your customer support team. I was told that the ad is showing as a Top Ad on their end, but that is clearly not the case. I’ve checked multiple times from different devices, and it’s absolutely not being displayed as promised.
I feel like I’ve been misled and charged for a service that your platform failed to provide. This isn’t just disappointing—it feels like a scam. If you’re going to charge premium prices, then deliver a premium service. Otherwise, don’t mislead your customers with false advertising.
Please look into this issue immediately, correct the ad placement, or refund the payment. I expect a proper response—not generic excuses.

They Reject without ads without any valid reasons.
I published pacu fish pair 2 times but both times they reject without valid reasons
today i posted Red Belly Pacu ad with real pictures from fish and i paid Rs 900 as listing fee but they didn't approved when i call the call center they told pacu fish not posted according to their guild lines.
but they never mention fish types not posting
but when i checked i found there is already ads with Pacu fish photos
they have some favorable for some people
very poor service they have

I check both the app and web version of ikman regularly, and found out that both versions are covered with a massive amount of third party advertisements (e.g. Temu etc) which are very annoying and consumes more memory.

once you advertise on the website, Ikman keeps calling you three four times a day to upsell their other services. Despite telling the agents multiple times not to contact me, and I will boost the ads on their platform if I need it, they keep calling. Had to block their number on my phone to stop their annoying upselling calls.

Worst experience ever. Tried Ikman Business, and it was a very poor service. Each and every time, we had to call them to fix issues. After making the payment, there was no support at all. Every day, they would delist half of the items, and we had to call them repeatedly to ask for relisting. At one point, we lost our patience.

They would provide coupons, but they would stop working after 1 or 2 days. Publishing ads through coupons would often get disabled. Overall, it was a very, very poor service.

I would give zero starts if it were allowed. Absolutely disgusting service. They are only interested in the payment and after that the service offered is nothing short of absolutely exasperating. They are all just bloody incompetent imbeciles. Because of them, we missed an entire weekend of advertising and hours spent uselessly on phone calls.

After speaking hopelessly to numerous others, one lady called Hajera (hope I got the name right) got my advertisement published in ten minutes that the other imbeciles couldn't for an entire day! Thank God you have at least one staff member with sense and good values!
