Excellent ground floor flat , very clean modern , comfy bed and close to town . Added bonus of a car parking space .
If I had to put a negative comment would be please put a fan in ( extremely hot when we stayed ) but that’s the only negative . All correspondence from booking to checking out was excellent

Our booking was cancelled because the property owner chose to leave Host & Stay's management service. Despite this, I was asked to cancel the booking myself through Booking.com, which felt inappropriate given that the cancellation was not initiated by me.
What has been even more frustrating is the handling of the refund. Three weeks after the cancellation, I am still waiting for my money to be returned. This is particularly disappointing considering that when we booked, the payment terms were changed from no deposit to a 50% deposit, and payment was requested immediately. In fact, we received repeated reminders to pay promptly, yet the same sense of urgency has not been shown when refunding our money.
Poor communication, slow refund processing, and a lack of accountability have left a very negative impression. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before booking through this company.

Apartment was just as we imagined clean tidy plenty of room & dog friendly, it was walking distance into center of whitby 10 out of 10 we loved our stay.

Great location, spacious property, with everything you need. Really enjoyed the stay.

The appartment was excellent. Lovely views from bedrooms and main living area. The appartment is steps from the beach and central to all amenities in Redcar. We had the first floor appartment which was finished to a high standard and had every appliance we needed

Lovely place to stay, bed very comfortable, been to this one before, still all prepared for a great stay. Love the village.

The house was dirty, smelly and not cleaned at all. We had travelled from Manchester and wanted to check in at 2pm instead of 4pm but we were told this wasn’t possible as they were preparing it for us. Obviously NOT. Communication wasn’t great and I was called at 2AM! To let me know that the cleaners weren’t coming. Overall one of my worst experiences.

Absolutely brilliant stay thank you. And thank you for all the extras. Caravan was lovey and we all loved it.

The Byres is a fabulous property! It is spacious, light and welcoming. The location is ideal for exploring this part of County Durham. It is easy to get to Durham and the surrounding areas. We went to South Shields, another easy journey.
The kitchen is excellently equipped, with all “mod cons” that proved simple to use so it was easy to knock up a decent meal.
The beds were comfortable and showers excellent.

Very comfortable well equipped accommodation in a peaceful setting. Great spot for exploring many attractions. Would stay again.

The house was absolutely amazing, everything was there and there for us to use.
Would not hesitate to stay again and will be back, also looking at other Host and Stay properties.

The lodge itself is lovely, all new and tastefully decorated. The hot tub was great to go in. The site itself is peaceful and well looked after.

But how in the world there can be no mention that the plot is literally right next to a building site at the point of booking, or checking in, is really very sneaky, and I do feel let down by this. Not the outlook shown on the photos! Proper gas lighter needed for the hob also.

Good location and lodge had everything we needed. Very comfortable. A few cobwebs here and there but that is to be expected in an old property. Very spacious.

Really nice one bedroom house in a great position .
Bathroom and bedroom are downstairs, open plan lounge /kitchen upstairs with a partial sea view .
There are two pubs directly over the small road which were both good and we didn’t hear any noise from them. There is a parking space at the side of the house which is very handy

Excellent modern property, spacious (easily accommodated our party of 7 adults). Very well equipped, bedrooms comfortable and linen/towels very good quality. Lovely outlook over the River Esk/harbour. Easy walk into centre of Whitby. Needed to contact Host & Stay on a couple of minor issues, and received very prompt and helpful responses. Thoroughly recommended for a stay in a lively resort with many attractions.

We rented Cobnut Barn in Kent for four days. The accommodation was great and the process of booking, arriving and using the premises was easy. We intend to repeat the process later in the year.
