I bought a 58 inch hitachi tv from argos

I bought a 58 inch hitachi tv from Argos November 2020 it’s has been 15 months since I bought this tv and it has now 2 days ago completely turned black with white lines moving all over the screen!! This is disgusting as this is no fault of my own apart from the fact that these TVs are faulty and s**t. DO NOT BUY!!

I bought a 56' hitachi tv and I've to admit it was a one of a bigest mistake in my life. WELL F.. YOU HITACHI FOR THE SLOWEST AND MOST LAGGED TV IN THE UNIVERSE!!! F... YOU HITACHI THAT I CAN'T INSTALL A DISNEY APP ON YOUR PATHETIC S...!!! F... YOU ONE MORE TIME THAT I HAVE A PROBLEMS CAUSE THIS USELESS S... CAN READ SOME MP4 FILES BUT CAN'T READ OTHER F... Don’t buy a Hitachi TV!! model 58HK6100U

Bought hitachi tv 58HK6100U in November 2020 and this week January 2022 the screen has gone completely black whilst using and a white circle in corner of screen above where the standby light comes on has appeared. Screen no longer works and was told that this is not a potential non manufacturing error and have been advised to pay to get tv repaired or buy a new tv.
Not happy that I’m now having to pay for a repair on a 14 month tv….don’t buy hitachi….not worth the money or your time! Never again!

Got it last year at first seemed not bad for the money but problems started to appear very fast..
Very slow wifi connection
Freezing and loading for ages even though I have very fast internet..I'm sure I'll Die soon as it's just switching itself off time to time while watching Netflix..
Better to spend few pounds and get the proper One 👍

Hitachi are terrible TVs

Hitachi are terrible TVs. I bought a 58" Hitachi TV last Christmas. It stopped working last week after only 11 months.
Argos refused to take it back even though it's still under warranty. I was told that l should have taken out insurance.

I had 43 inch smart Hitachi TV given…

I had 43 inch smart Hitachi TV given for Xmas 2020. The only way it connects to the internet is via a chrome and my phone. The remote works when it feels like it whatever batteries I fit. Noe it won't turn off even with the button on the screen.i have to unplug it. It advertises that it inspires the next generation. Never will I ever buy anything Hitachi again. Rubbish. The shame is that I can't complain as it was a gift. Very kind and thoughtful but a waste if anybodies hard earned money.

The worst tv i have purchased

The worst tv i have purchased. The smart tv does not work. FAKE TV. The sowftware is so bad that it loses the wifi connection all the time and have to insert a memory stick and use the “First time installation” option. So tiring. NEVER buy stupid hitachi tvs. Fake product. Have never seen a worst remote control in my life before.

Yeah, definitely inspired the next purchase

Their bad rep is pretty deserved.
Smart TV aspects work badly, hasn't had an update since 2018 and the Internet is buggy.

It makes an OK basic 4k TV, it hasn't broken and nothing is working any worse the past few years of owning it, but you should definitely buy a better TV.

Their website doesn't seem to work either with generic filler text in the cookies accept box, search function for model doesn't work ect.

Could be worse, but definitely should be better.

Hitachi 43" Smart 4KUHD HDR TV

This TV is the worst purchase I have ever made. The TV went faulty after 9 months and owing to Covid restrictions etc I was unsure what the process was. As the TV fell out of its warranty period Argos refused to refund or provide a new TV but instead a third party repair. The TV fault was owing to an internal component that affected the screen. Once again the fault has reoccurred and neither Argos nor Hitachi will take responsibility without me having to pay for an independent report to prove the TV is faulty so basically throw more money down the drain. Clearly other customers have experienced this, please do NOT purchase a Hitachi TV because clearly it does not live up to quality or standards and you will waste your money!

Hitachi 43 inch smart tv

Bought a 43 inch smart tv from Argos
Worst tv I have bought ever.
Poor sound which keeps fading.
The LCD screen has a line on the left
Hand side behind the panel.
Had the tv about 3 years
Contacted Argos they did nothing.
I don’t think a tv should be like this in 3 years.

Hitachi tv

Bought this Hitachi 50HK6100U C in January 2021 from argos and before the end of April developed a fault on screen have an ongoing with argos now as after many telephone calls passing me off to other departments and tech issues team which I had to send photos to have come to a conclusion off photos I sent! There is damage behind the glass screen! And I either have to pay to get it repaired or buy a new tv.Their after customer care is absolutely disgusting needless to say I am taking matters further

Bought a new Hitachi 55" TV from Argos…

Bought a new Hitachi 55" TV from Argos on Monday. What a mistake!!
Horrible picture, difficult to connect to wifi and still can't control it via the Sky handset, which worked perfectly well with my previous Panasonic model. Tried all the codes on the Sky site but no luck.
Been on to Hitachi online to seek their advice, but they want £5 [!!] to answer my query.
Retuning to Argos tomorrow for a refund. What a waste of money!!

Faulty 43” Hatachi TV

Brought a 43” Hatachi TV. Had it for just over 2 years and there is a fault with the TV. Argos won’t help as they need an independent report which costs £108. Why should I have to pay for something that is faulty. Trying to contact Hatachi as I would like them to step in and replace, repair or refund the money for the TV. Any help will be welcome.

Worst TV I've ever owned

Worst TV I've ever owned. Purchased from Argos as a 43 inch TV less than 18 months ago. From day 1 had issues with the TV switching itself off and having to unplug the TV to reset and now its unbearable even as a second TV in the house. Awful company from reading the reviews and clearly cut cost corners with a clear lack of quality control.avoid Hitachi TV's, they are far from smart!!

Buona esperienza

Ho comprato uno smart tv di questa azienda e mi sono trovata davvero bene, funziona perfettamente ed è quello che mi aspettavo dall’acquisto né più, né meno.
Il costo contenuto si accompagna a una buona qualità dei materiali e per questo credo proprio che se dovessi ripetere l'acquisto lo rifarei volentieri.
