Assolutamente da evitare !!!

Ho comprato un TV da 50 pollici della Hitachi e dopo un anno ha presentato un difetto di congelamento dell'immagine (video a linee e colori diffusi), non permettendo più la visione.
Contatto dal sito Hitachi la ditta responsabile della garanzia la Givesit.it, che dopo avermi fatto attendere tre giorni apre la pratica per la riparazione. Ricontattati perchè non ho ricevuto nessuna risposta all'apertura pratica, mi viene comunicato il numero del centro di zona della mia città dove IO DEVO telefonare per apprendere basito che la consegna alla loro sede dell'apparecchio è a MIA CURA !?!?! Un 50 pollici ?? Ma scherziamo ?

Non montae Hitachi fanno schifo
se volete avere i nomi mi trovo a monopoli contatatemi

58 inch tv same issue!

It's crazy how I have had the same experience as almost all the reviews of the 58 inch tv... I got mine in Feb from Argos and got the black screen a couple weeks ago. I've reached out to Argos and Hitachi (who keep referring me back to Argos) to no avail as my tv is over the 1 year warranty... shocking how they are getting away with this

My sons bought this tv for Christmas…

My sons bought this tv for Christmas last year in Argos Went to turn it on two day and the scream was black There has been alot of people saying the same thing .So what Argos should do is to get everyone to bring them back and get there money back

Hitachi 58HK6100U A Faulty Batch

Our Hitachi 58”TV just died!!! Only 18 months old. Argos said they can do nothing. Trading standards should really look into the batch of TV’s sold around Christmas period, clearly a faulty batch. We were told we must have dropped or impacted the TV by an Argos employee.. Nothing of the sort, just watching a program. Feel badly let down by both Hitachi for not dealing with a clear problem that lots of people are experiencing!!! Argos wake up and take these TV’s off sale!!

Purchased 58' 4k UHD Hitachi TV from…

Purchased 58' 4k HDR Ultra HD Hitachi TV from Argos - Model: 58HK6100U A - SN: 8498799 000044
Everything with this TV was awesome, Sound actually turned up when you increased it & had beautiful picture quality until the screen died a month after the warranty ended right in the middle of a movie even with minimal use.
I've taken it to a repair shop & they have said I might as well dump it because a replacement display/screen will be anywhere from 60 to 80% of the TV's value.
With the amount of people complaining about this same TV trading standers should be forcing Argos to recall & refund everyone that's bought a Hitachi 58' as the displays are clearly defective.
4 stars for everything but life expectancy even with minimal use which I give 0 stars.
Stay away from Hitachi! the brand is now apparently made in China so no wonder it's dead already.

Bough the Hitachi 58 Inch Smart 4K UHD…

Bough the Hitachi 58 Inch Smart 4K UHD HDR LED Freeview TV from Argos at the end of November 2020. Tonight (July 2022) sitting watching a film and the screen goes stripy (grey) and then black. Having read all of the previous reviews it looks like there’s a common fault or faulty batch with this particular TV. In no position to buy another tv now so looks like we will have to go without. Very poor performance from Hitachi. TV’s should last longer than 20 months. I do not recommend!!!

Wish i read these reviews before i bought my hitachi 58" tv. (From argos)
Bought in November 2020, had it less than 2 yrs, (19 mths). Screen gone, was fine when switched it off 1 night, switched on in morning to be greeted with blue/white lines down the screen.
Out of manufacturer warranty, spoke to both argos, and hitachi. Long story short, they told me to buy new tv. After paying nearly £400 for said tv, id expect it to last longer than a year and a half. I will never buy another hitachi product, nor buy from argos.

TV Hitachi 58 Inch.

I bought the TV Hitachi 58 Inch 58HK6200U Smart 4K UHD HDR LED on Argos 20 days ago.

I have small children at home and I can't block or exclude the YouTube app permanently from the TV.

Now, what do I do with a TV that does not allow me to choose what my family can or cannot watch?

Can I have my money back Argos???

Awful DVD player

I'm actually quite pleased that there are so many bad reviews, because this TV turns itself on and off so much that I thought I had a poltergeist.

The worst thing about it though is the horrible grinding noise the DVD player makes. It's horrendous, so off putting.

It was cheap though. But spend a bit extra, it's not worth it.

Awful, read!

Will never be buying a Hitachi again. Bought the 58” from Argos and the quality was awful, the boarder of the tv felt cheap, the sound quality sounds better through my iphone and the picture quality was unwatchable. I strongly suggest you never buy one of these as it’ll be a waste of your money. Hope this helps someone :)

Bought Hitachi 58” TV December 2020

Bought Hitachi 58” TV December 2020. Approximately 2 months ago (March 2022) started having line at bottom. Contacted Argos who said try this, try that. Speaking to engineer again yesterday and totally went, black screen (May 2022). Argos can’t help and Hitachi ignoring me. We’ve had to fork out for new TV. Surely if so many people bought around same time, from Argos, there must be a design fault batch? Argos please rake this up with Hitachi!!

I bought December 2020 from Argos and guess what black cloud now freezing for months absolute garbage same as everyone else and Argos are still selling them barely used the thing as with every thing from Argos and Sainsbury's over priced crap presented nicely like how they treat there staff dress em well to hide how there really treated probably where Jimmy saville bought his undies

Bought the 58 inch tv from Argos on 10/12/2020. Then went to put on yesterday and screen black and cloudy. Tried everything to get it working but nothing.
Emailed them to be told to unplug the tv hold the button in for 15 seconds and plug back in
Now unless I’m stupid I think I would of tried that and many other things before emailing a complaint
I see a lot of people have had the same problem all tvs bought around the same time and all from Argos. So unless I’m stupid I would say the full batch has been faulty. So we’re all out nearly £400 for a pile of garbage
And the aftercare is disgusting

Absolute Garbage

Absolute Garbage. DO NOT BUY. Constantly have to unplug mine to reset then it will freeze. Been like this basically since i got from Argos and they are no help

I bought hitachi 58" tv from Argos just over 14 months ago and screen has gone black with a cloud like appearance ,Argos very unhelpful basically told me to buy a new one which I guess I will have to now but not from Argos and certainly not a Hitachi

I’m on my second in five years and it is more trouble than it’s worth. The problem is that designing a room with its dimensions in mind nothing else will now fit. Think twice before investing in one of these. There must be better.

Bought this TV 16/01/21

Bought this TV 16/01/21, it’s broken. I’m three months over warranty so have no chance of getting it checked. Worked fine when I turned it on. Then a black cloud appeared and took over the screen. Now when I turn it on it’s just lines and no picture at all. They were made to last just over a year. It’s never been great either, should have returned it when I had the chance.
