Highly recommend Health mate and my Gaia sauna is fantastic and the whole process was made straight forward from purchase to installation

We have had a really positive experience with Health Mate from start to finish. Gert and the team were helpful, clear, and very supportive throughout the whole process, from early questions right through to installation.
The sauna itself is beautifully made and exactly what we hoped for. The installation went smoothly and felt well organised, and any small questions along the way were dealt with promptly and kindly. The smell of the Canadian Red Cedar wood used for the interior walls is wonderful and adds such a calm, natural feel to the space.
It feels great to work with a company that genuinely cares about quality and customer experience. We are delighted with the sauna and the addition it has made to our space.

From initial questions, through ordering, to delivery and use, working with Health Mate has been easy. We had a few questions before ordering and these were answered fully and speedily. Lots of information about the sauna is provided but the company were happy to answer our specific enquiries.

Once the sauna was ordered, we were kept up to date with the progress for delivery and then given an option for set up dates.

The set up team were polite, efficient and explained the use of the sauna before they left.

We have used the sauna a lot and it is now a daily staple of our lives. It’s hotter than a steam sauna and very very relaxing. The benches are comfortable and the settings are easy to set up and adjust.

We are very happy with our purchase and would happily recommend Health Mate

Before I buy anything I do a lot of research. Many infrared sauna companies contact point is awful. No one to speak with and emails only and not many responses.
On first contact with Health Mate the agents were responsive, friendly and helpful, if they said they’d ring you back they did. Gert was the agent who took my order and arranged swift delivery and installation all included in the price.
The installers Michael and Craig were bang on time and did a professional job. If you’re thinking of installing one yourself, think again, it’s not easy!
The sauna itself is outstanding. Lovely finish all round with very fast warm up time. It’s a quality item.
I cannot fault this Company in anyway and with a lifetime guarantee thrown in

Buying a sauna from Gert back in 2016 was one of the best decisions we have made as a family. We continue to use it nearly 10 years later and it's in the same condition as it was when we bought it and still smells of the delicious cedar wood it is built from!

-We chose Gert because he was able to cut through all the waffle we were reading and really explain to us what was true and what wasn't. We immedicately felt this wasn't just a salesman - this was someone who cared. Almost 10 years later we know this to be true about him. In that time we've had to call on Gert for help - relocating the sauna twice and for accidentally melting our remote for the lights. He has been incredibly kind giving up his time both in person and from his office in order to help us and replacing the melted item.

-The sauna sits in a little shed outside our home currently which means it takes up no footprint in the house. We use it 3 or 4 times a day during the change in seasons Sept/Oct and April/May and a little less during the other times of year.

-It allows us to extend the use of our outdoor pop up pool as the children have been able to go back and forth and many a day of their childhood has been spent playing between the two with groups of friends. And also for cold plunge in winter we are able to warm up straight away.

-The health benefits of our sauna are obvious as we are able to dispel simple coughs and colds at their first sign.

-The mental health benefits we weren't expecting. Gert explained the waves of this particular sauna replicate the waves inside the body - so sitting in this sauna allows us a feeling of coming home to yourself.

-I also use the sauna to hear my own intuition and guidance - I find I can connect in almost instantly in the sauna.

I did quite a lot of research before settling on Health Mate as my supplier of choice for my 3 person infra red Health mate sauna. It was never going to be an easy purchase (or so I thought) as I was converting a garage to a gym and this had been delayed by 4 weeks. I spoke to Jarrod originally regarding the sauna and followed up with Gert once I had agreed to purchase. 

They were both fantastic and Gert was totally understanding in regards to the delay and said they would store it until I was ready to receive it. Once I was ready Gert was accommodating to ensure that I was around for the day to receive it. Additionally, the guys that delivered it to me were polite, friendly and even helped move some of my Gym equipment into the garage.

The whole experience from start to finish (including Gert supporting on the 0% finance) was fantastic. As a company, I could not recommend the team highly enough. The product is fantastic and does exactly what it says… health benefits are amazing! I had a couple of follow-up questions to Gert who again, was amazing in his response and solution.

I absolutely love our sauna from Healthmate, we’ve had it well over ten years and the quality is amazing. The cedar wood still smells wonderful and is in mint condition. The heaters give off a really great warming heat and the light function is brilliant. Over the years I’ve enjoyed the different light colours but right now I am enjoying the far infrared for aching joints and muscles. The company has always been really helpful whenever we’ve had a question which is why I wanted to write this review so many years on. I highly recommend Healthmate Saunas. There’s not many companies who offer such high quality at reasonable prices and give such consistently good service.

We have had a health mate sauna for 3 years now and recently needed a service on the sauna. The team at Health Mate were very helpful and quickly had us sorted. Our sauna is in daily use and had stood up to the rigours as such.

What a great company. What a fabulous product! We bought the Enrich3 in early January ( including the 20% discount that officially ran out in December!!! )
It’s made an enormous difference to living in a Welsh winter, which currently is really cold. Then we get warm in the evening. 30 min in the Sauna ( we use the red light option for the extra infrared factor) and your bones are warm, and you’ll have had a damn good sweat. . Best investment in health we made in our health!

I've put off writing this review since there's so many positive things to say that I knew it would take a long time to write :) But here goes!

I've been wanting a sauna for over two years: what stopped me getting once was guilt at the thought of spending what felt like a lot of money on a "frivolous" purchase. But the 2-person Classic Health-Mate I ended up getting is hands down the best purchase I've made in *years*-- a great investment in my and my husband's physical and mental wellbeing that is ANYTHING but frivolous.

I have a really stressful job, seasonal affective disorder, and chronic pain that gets worse in cold weather and that makes it difficult to get my endorphins from intense exercise. The sauna allows me to decompress, relieve pain, get my heart rate up, and feel the equivalent of a "runner's high" without doing my back in. My husband uses it as light cardio and to soothe his muscles after bouldering, and it's proven a great way for my 71-yr-old mum to improve her circulation.

At the risk of my sounding like a paid reviewer (which I'm not!!), here are some more positives:

1. Friendly, knowledgeable, and HONEST sales guys. Aside from Healthmate, I researched and/or
spoke with reps from Sunlighten, Zoki, Oceanic Saunas, UK Saunas, Vidalux, and various brands on Alibaba. Jarred and Gert answered I don't know how many questions, and their explanations made sense (I couldn't make head or tail of the explanations on the Zoki website) and were free of marketing buzzwords (contrary to the Sunlighten salespitch). They didn't try to pressure us into buying, and they didn't overwhelm us with stats. They also followed up w/us every couple weeks after the sauna was installed to check that everything was working right and that we were happy. I've never encountered that level of service before.

2. Ease of mounting: The guys who came to mount it did it in under 40 minutes and taught my husband how to dismount and re-mount it in case we want to move it to another room (it's super easy). We stuck felt pads under the feet before installation so were also able to move it around the room once mounted to gauge where to put it.

3. Excellent functionality, good accessories, and aesthetically pleasing design: It heats up quickly (20 min to get to 55 degrees), the speaker is excellent (I use it for music, husband uses it for podcasts), the ergonomic backrests are great if you have a bad back, the cord is long enough that you don't have to mount it right next to where you're plugging it in, and I *think* that the near infrared red light panel on the ceiling is the same wavelength as the ones sold for anti-ageing and hair growth (I stand under it for around 10 minutes of my session). It comes with an aromatherapy pot but I haven't tried that yet since I like the smell of the cedar wood. The sauna itself is a beautiful item -- the cedar wood is almost the same colour as teak and the style jives with midcentury modern decor, which is what we have :)

4. Size: A lot of the supposedly two-person saunas I looked at are around 95- to 100-cm wide, which is actually barely enough for one person, while the width of the Healthmate Classic bench is big enough to lie on with your knees up if you're 5 foot 5 or shorter (I think this is the same as the Enrich, which is their new range?).

5. Lifetime guarantee/warranty: This is the only brand I found in the UK that offers it. I think Zoki offers 7 years, Sunlighten offers 5, and all the other brands I listed offered one or two.

6. Comparable or better specs + more competitive price than other brands: Sunlighten's slick branding, website, brochure, and salesguy, their presence on best-of lists in major magazines, and the luxury design of some of their saunas initially swayed me but some of what they said didn't stand up to scrutiny, their sales pitch was aggressive (when I told them I was going with Healthmate they went whole hog trying to persuade me it was a terrible choice!), and as far as I can tell, Healthmate's Tecoloy heaters are a better option to the Sunlighten Celliant ones. They're also a better option than the ceramic heaters and carbon heaters that the cheaper brands all seem to be made with (ceramic breaks easily and I can't remember what the deal was with carbon). A Healthmate is around 2 to 3x more expensive than a Vidalux or one from Amazon, half the price of Zoki, and between 1/2 and 1/3 the price of a Sunlighten. From what I can tell, it's more expensive than the cheap brands due to the high specs, durable materials, lifetime warranty, aesthetically-pleasing design, and dependability, and cheaper than the high-end ones bc they haven't spent a fortune on marketing.

TL;DR: Highly recommend this if you're looking to boost your health and wellbeing in an affordable way, and I hope this helps you make a decision more quickly than it took me :)

Firstly the sauna! It’s amazing. Top quality in every aspect and the beautiful Cedar wood really makes it a quality product. The ergonomic curved bench and backrests really make it a comfortable sauna to use and makes it feel luxurious. The heaters heat up very quickly and it’s ready to use within about 15 mins. The whole sauna heats up throughout with no cold spots and is lovely type of heat. You can sit very close to the heaters for a more intense heat which I love or sit slightly away to suit your preference depending on what you like. We did try a clearlight carbon sauna but it just didn’t feel the same no option to get that intense heat. Because of the cedar and the type of heaters you get that lovely traditional wooden sauna feel, we just love!! My husband has suffered with Tennis elbow for years and after using the sauna for only a few weeks it’s gone! We feel amazing after using it and it really does make a difference to all our aches and pains. My teenage son uses it for his acne and it’s helped that immensely. Honestly our best purchase ever. I can’t recommend this sauna enough. We have a 3 person and it’s a lovely size ideal for couples as ample room to spread out, one laying and one seated, but does seat 3. The chromotherapy lights are really lovely either just for mood lighting or specific colours for treatment. The Bluetooth speakers connect effortlessly and really enhance the whole experience.
Now the company! From first contact they have been so fantastic. So knowledgeable and helpful, proper advise not just pushy sales! Gert knows his stuff and helped us choose the perfect sauna. No problem contacting him by phone or email. He arranged delivery and assembly in time for Xmas with short notice which was fantastic. Paul and his delivery team were fantastic so polite, and know their stuff. They installed the sauna with no fuss and ease. Not just a rubbish curbside delivery a proper delivery!! So I think that it…. I know it’s a long review but in the world we live in where everything’s online and it’s so hard to find these good genuine companies these days I just wanted to pass on my positive experience and hopefully help someone else with their decision making.
