I really don't like the way this…
I really don't like the way this company do business. They act like a bunch of scammers. Be very wary! I had an email the other day saying thank you for your order. Knowing I hadn't placed an order I was put on edge. On opening the email they then went on to say something like oh you've not placed an order yet...Scam all over and would never use or recommend this company.

This small local company produces some lovely products. Refreshing roll on fragrances.
Shampoos and conditioners in solid block form which seem quite luxurious and at the same time natural.
Customer service can't be faulted.

Soy candles
I’ve had such a lovely experience with Gruum! They have beautiful soy candles and some really great bundles, which are perfect if you want to try a variety of their products. Everything feels thoughtfully put together and makes for a lovely treat or gift. I really like how their packages considering sustainability.
The customer service has also been fantastic, friendly, helpful and responsive. I’d definitely recommend giving Gruum a try!

Some of their products are nice and I particularly liked their bedtime pulse point roll on, however, one skin oil I used left my skin with pimples on my face that were hard to remove, and the spray part of the night time spray bottle I bought broke quickly and I had to transfer it to another bottle so I could use it. A number of the products I used had a high amount of pretty cheap ingredients like sunflower oil. Also, I found the soaps smelt great at first but quickly lost their smell. Overall, if you are selective many of products are ok and some smell great. However, their email marketing is aggressive and I got fed up being bombarded by an insane number of emails which has put me off the company.

Seriously awful marketing, sent a "order confirmation email" for attention , which probably made people who are more vulnerable very stressed! Will never order from the company again now. There's a reason marketing is heavily regulated, and it's to protect people.

On receipt of the above marketing email I knew what would happen.
It must have been really disheartening for you all. having dreamt it up and being devastated when it didn't land where you thought it would.
Must admit when I glanced at the title line I did open the email straight away just to check that it was a joke.
Don't beat yourselves up.
Those who thought it funny won't be the ones who emailed to complain.

I have made several purchases from Gruum, and been very happy with the service and the products. The sunscreen and aftersun has seen me through this summer, has been pleasant to use, and smells great! I have had a problem with delivery of my most recent order (courier, not Gruum), and my query was dealt with immediately, and settled most satisfactorily. Can't fault them!

Disgusting company, sends out fake order confirmation emails for marketing.
I have only ever used them from the McDonald's promo and this has secured me in never using them
Edit: their below reply just shows they don't get it at all.

Excellent, not so great delivery charges
The lotions and creams are excellent.
The one thing that's increasingly putting me off though is delivery charges are high for the size and weight of products and very slow. If you are going to charge high delivery at least send it RM 48 tracked. I can get a 1kg of coffee send to me 48 tracked for less.

We do use a tracked 48-hour delivery service for our orders, however occasional delays can arise once a parcel is with the courier and we are sorry if this was your experience.
For future orders, we offer free delivery on subscriptions over £10 and on standard orders over £30. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to pass your comments regarding delivery costs on to the relevant team.

The test of a company is what they do when they make an error, and following a minor mistake with an order I contacted the customer service team. Very fast response, replacement sent, tracked delivery and all round personal professional response

Superb quality eco-friendly products that are good for hair and skin as well as the planet. Much easier to take shampoo and conditioner bars into the swimming pool showers rather than endless plastic bottles.
