Excellent very knowledgeable guide and driver, they had a good working relationship. Very comfortable hotel, food choice good and plentiful. Bar had limited choice. One of our bedrooms was cold
Most trips worked well but personally would have preferred to have more time in some cities rather than visit a place for an hour for say only lunch, e.g. only time in Durham for lunch and visit the cathedral no time to see rest of the city.

The feeder coach and Gold coach was…
The feeder coach and Gold coach was very comfortable and on time. The hotel was spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent. The holiday was good. I enjoyed the break away. The day's I enjoyed the best were Lake Windermere and half day at Lancaster City which I thought should have been a little longer to have a look around. The Lancaster Castle was a great place to visit.

Burlington Hotel Torquay
The food and staff at the Burlington Hotel in Torquay was very good but the bedrooms were in need of a bit of tlc. The bed was clean and comfortable but decor was shabby, carpets grubby, and inside and outside in need of a paint.
Entertainment was good.
Dave our driver and Angie our courier were both excellent and outside the hotel our holiday was first class.

Alex (driver) and (Wendy) tour manager where superb couldn't wish for better and hotel staff very polite and friendly food good,but the dilkhusa grand hotel certainly isn't grand it is the worst hotel I have stayed in far to many stair's windows filthy and unable to open for Ventilation.

The Holiday was good,,the hotel was exellent,ie. food and bedroom....the excursions were well planned and very interesting, the tour guide and driver were very good.....the one issue my wife and myself had was , the interchange arrangements,we left North Walsham at6.30pm and arrived at Northhampton interchange six hours later?? and then on to our hotel with frequent stops,??.much too long. We feel you have a need to look at interchange arrangements and consider having two drivers , one to be able change with other and vise versa..this would ensure a much more smooth and quicker journey time.I trust you take our comments as productive and not complaints with reference to the tour in general

Coach holiday to wye and cardiff.
The holiday was good the hotel good and the tours were good. The downside was the stops to the interchange that took 5 hours for an 2 hour journey. We waited at a stop for 30 mins with no explanation as to what was going on.

I won’t pick a holiday with a courier in future. I found it frustrating that when told to look at something of interest I couldn’t see it because of the tall headrests on the newer coaches ( I’m 5ft 5ins) unless it was something I could see from my window or the one opposite.

1 One of my worst coach holidays
1. Being sent to Waltham Abbey instead of the usual South Mimms Services, added an enormous amount of time to my journey.
2. Attrocious traffic congestion thanks to having to go to Beaconsfield for the Interchange; the journey would have been so much quicker via the old interchange at Northampton Services.
3. Excessive time waiting at Beaconsfield Services for completion of the Interchange with a total lack of information.
4. Awful "new" hotel with badly designed shower cubicle and lack of stowage facilities. Appalling service on most evenings at dinner, with the meal lasting up to 2.5 hours; not the most enjoyable food. We also had to put up with almost uncontrollable air-conditioning in our bedrooms; I suspect this was the cause of a bad cough I had in the following week!
5. Not greatly impressed with the gardens visited; have seen much better on holidays elsewhere, e.g. North Wales.
6. The only good thing about the hotel was it's convenient location for Manchester Piccadilly station. After the appalling outward journey, I went home by train and got to my front door in North London in an incredible 3hrs 5mins from departing Manchester Picc station. If I'd gone back by coach, I dread to think what time I would have got home!

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave your feedback following your recent holiday. We are very sorry this did meet your expectations.
We introduced a new feeder system for 2024 in the hope of reducing journey time for passengers and this is constantly being reviewed. Therefore it is disappointing to learn about the delays you experienced and we will ensure your comments are passed to our Operations team.
As you mention, the hotel you stayed in is a new build property and we regret you didn't find the design of this to be user friendly. We will pass your comments back to the hotel and also speak to them regarding your feedback on the restaurant. While tastes in food can be subjective, we agree that 2.5 hours is a lengthy time for a 3-course meal and we will work with the hotel to improve this going forward.
It is a shame the weather was quite rainy during your stay in Manchester, and we are sorry you did not enjoy the gardens you visited.
Once again, we very much appreciate your feedback, as this helps us to improve the levels of service we offer.

Overall a good holiday
Overall a good holiday. The itinerary was excellent. The visits to Bridgewater, Ness Botanical Gardens, and Lyme Park were particularly enjoyable, The Chester visit was great but not long enough for us. The coach was very comfortable and our driver did a great job but hold ups due to late arrivals of coaches at the hub were tiresome. The hotel was well situated for access to visit venues but away from shops, bars restaurants etc. Dinner on days 1 and 2 was good overall but less so on day 3 and awful on day 4 ( the restaurant manager apologised profusely and gave complimentary drinks and did his best to compensate).

The trips were good but the hotel food was awful. The food was cold and as for the scampi you could not even cut it. They need to look at another hotel . This was our first trip and not sure we would book another one soon.

We found it tiring
It was a good break but we found it very tiring with the coach leaving the hotel 8.30 every morning, long journeys to our destination, not much time there and long return journey.

Hotels were good
Hotels were good, having to have evening meals at 6:30pm every day was not good, as we usually got back from excursions between 4:30 - 5pm. No time to relax and shower etc before dinner. Excursions could have been better and more varied. More time in Edinburgh and less time in Glasgow preferred.

All was good except windmere trip was wrong way around so no time to look around before sailing,I have done this tour before and was great to walk down pier,and look around,the way this one was done we had under an hour to find a toilet which was disgusting and charged 50p and needed to pay on a card,so this tour was horrible, but Nick our driver was excellent and would like him again when we do isle of Wight trip we are waiting for your new brochure to book it,
