I had a wonderful holiday recently
Chris was our driver The weather was very hot, averaging 30 c in the day time. The coach was comfortable and air conditioned Chris had bottles of ice cold water for sale, which were gratefully received. I enjoyed all the trips
We were very fortunate as we had two extra. We went to Warwick for a few hours before checking into the hotel. On the way back we visited Stratford upon Avon before arriving back at Cambridge Services.
I enjoyed the other planned trips. The Cotswolds is a beautiful area of England. There are a lot of honey coloured old buildings and the place is steeped in history and places associated with famous people. Here I am thinking of Tolkien's door at Stowe on the Wold church.
I found the hotel clean , comfortable and welcoming. My room was spacious and had everything I needed in it. It was on the ground floor and overlooked a courtyard. It was quiet at night time, apart from one night when there was a loud thunder storm
It was good to have the flexibility of buffet breakfast and dinner
Food was adequate and nicely presented
There was a choice. I ate fish each evening and each type was delicious.
Finally I paid a flat rate of £10 to use the pool and spa during my stay so I could go there as often as I wished.. Most days I went there morning and evening.
I would highly recommend this holiday and would like to thank everyone at Sunrise Direct, Chris the driver and everyone at the Britannia Bromsgrove for making it a very enjoyable experience. Joan Feijoo Gray.

There could have been more information about the places visited and would have liked to spend more time at daily destinations.

which was served up.
Having been a chef for 36 years , it was food you would give children, not adults . Was not happy.

Trip good, would have been better to see more landmarks places instead of shopping centres though, also no help with suitcases into hotels, considering most of the people on these trips are pensioners and put on higher floors with no lifts.

The trip was well organised and good fun. The driver was helpful and friendly.

I was not impressed to find that my reserved seats as advertised by Sunrise were not even on the coach and we had to sit near the back.
The driver, Phil, was excellent and very helpful but he is not employed by Sunrise. Would probably not book a Sunrise holiday again. Sunrise have not even bothered to reply to my latest email to them.

This was the first time using Sunrise, cannot fault their organisation. The driver was excellent in all respects. (Mike)The hotel and staff were also very friendly, despite being obviously short staffed. The food was a bit hit and miss, (eg the roast beef and Yorkshire puddings, the Yorkshire puddings did not appear until the deserts were finished.). Over all the hotel was fine, clean linen towels etc, but was not serviced. (this was not clear in the info booklet). Well done Sunrise will certainly recommend.

Chris the driver was very good, especially dealing with the ferry crossing regulations & driving in Holland, was courteous & helpful to all passengers. The hotel & staff was pleasant with surrounding area very clean & safe to walk around.

We were looked after well from the time we were picked up, knowledgeable drivers and change over done smoothly. Considering travelling with the team again soon.

Poor shower. Had to wait a long time for it to warm up and a poor flow of water.

Unfortunately was not happy to be on a coach with no working toilet,it was out of order and there was horrible smell coming from it,we did have a very nice hotel,but they we're understaffed,so in turn had to wait some time for food to arrive.the holiday overall was good

Being new to coach holidays the whole experience From beginning to end was an excellent. The diver Mark was excellent and drove the coach very well no hard breaking when stopping and went out of his way to be helpful. Only downside was the last nights at Last Drop Spa Hotel food came out very slow often people had finished before others had started we were also moved from restaurant to the pub that’s on site for the last meal not sure why .
The trips were very good we would have like more time in Skipton to look round before or after the canal boat trip but otherwise good.
On the whole myself and my husband had a really good time and will definitely book with Sunrise Direct again.

The driver was very helpful. He is an excelent driver and good on the motorway. We arrived at all visits on time giving us a full day out. I enjoyed all 5 days even though we did a lot of driving on the coach.
The hotel was OK. Room and bathroom very good. The menu was 6/10. The best thing was the apple crumble. Breakfast - what you would expect; dinner-main course was a forage to find what was the best items but you find an edable meal. We did't loose any weight! Location was good for our tour destination. An easy ride to Yew Gardens, 1hr 30; Wisley - just 1 hour. Nice run on Thursday and enjoyed the train.
Hotel staff was very helpful, supplied water every day and helped when needed. Overal 9/10

The coach pick up was an easy transaction as with the tour coach. Hotel was excellent, lovely accommodation, & food. The swimming pool, sauna & jacuzzi was a bonus to use at no extra cost. All the excursions were excellent & a good variety. Would definitely recommend this holiday.

I have just returned from a five day stay in Eastbourne.
Smooth journey both ways and quick change at the interchange.
The New Wilmington Hotel,was a new one.
Absolutely lovely staff,food and pleasant.
Excursions very good but please,delete Tunbridge Wells from the excursion list,nothing there and not worth the petrol money for the excellent driver.
It would be nice to visit one of the old historic houses and gardens in the area?
Very enjoyable time away.

Good hotel, very good food, good itinerary, although would be nice to have longer in some places.
Holiday only let down by the fact we had water leaking through the ceiling of our room which management previously knew about, very poor entertainment, and the fact that the toilet on the coach was out of order as well as the audio system.

When we arrived at Cambridge we were told the driver was unwell and a replacement driver was on the way in about an half an hour, yet their was a driver sorting the hold behind the chap saying this which turned out to be our driver which was suspicious from the start. Driver hardly said a word and certainly not the required safety instructions. Most of the coach passengers were elderly yet when we reached our overnight stop in the rain ,no help was given with the luggage and we helped a few who were struggling. The food at this stop was mediocre. On our onward journey the driver mainly used A roads instead of motorways and it took far longer than it should have. We arrived late and again took our own luggage in the rain and had to go straight into dinner which was a complete chaos with short staffed and waiting for buffet to be replenished. The food all weekwas acceptable but no brilliant when you got it. The hotel itself was on its own with nothing nearby. The excursions were laughable with nothing much to see except for Prison Museum which everyone enjoyed. There was a lift on the almost new coach which was regularly used by one passenger whom the rest of us observed did not need it and was playing the driver who should have seen there were others who needed assistance. On one occasion the driver pulled away while a partially sighted elderly gent hadn' t got to his seat and was still in the gangway. The overnight stop on return journey was a breath of fresh air with excellent food and service. When we got back t Cambridge we were told we would be a long wait for another coach from Scotland to get in with passengers for all the other coaches. The driver of the coach to Diss was a very happy and helpful gentlemen and we got home sooner than expected. i am supprised there are not other reviews from people on the sae trip on here as everybody was saying the same thing. i did a detailed review via a different email site and through this site with a reply to say they would look into it but heard nothing. i see itis in next years brochure but i would recommend you stay clear.

Our recent holiday with Sunrise Direct was absolutely great. Our Driver Tony, was very friendly, very efficient and did everything he could possibly have done to make our trip to Bournemouth a good holiday. Our trips out on the coach were very punctual for departures. We were consulted regarding timings and how long (traffic permitting) it would take to arrive at the chosen location. We were given the time for the return journey to the hotel after each outing. Friendly, chatty and made everyone feel welcome. A pleasure to have Tony as our driver and tour operative. We would hope to be on our next break and have him as our driver. Looked very smart and was easy to chat with. We were given enough time to have a wander around to shops and different parts of the Island. Just like to say Thanks Tony👍 hope to see you next time
