My entire holiday was ruined by the tour coach driver. We travelled on 24th May during the heatwave the driver turned off the air conditioning for the main coach so that he could put it on full blast in his cab. The temperature was 27 degrees for around 6 hours & 32 degrees for a further 6 hours. I have health conditions & this made me exhausted dehydrated & ill for my entire holiday & been home 4 days & I'm still ill. He also locked & me & 2 other elderly passengers on the coach at a rest stop as I was descending the steps along with 2 other passengers who were still gathering their bags I could see him stood sideways about 5 metres away talking to someone using his keyring he locked the doors without glancing at the coach, myself & 2 others now locked onboard in a heatwave zero air con. He used the tannoy onboard to make anti-trans transphobic speeches & asked the passengers if we agreed it was all a loud of nonsense & trans ppl did not exist also racist rants about his wife accusing him of cheating, rants about previous passengers & rants about how awful Glentons the company he worked for was. After I complained about being locked on board he used the tannoy to humiliate & bully me in front of the other passengers.On the way back he forgot to unlock the onboard toilet it took nearly 4 hours for him to do so after I told him about it he turned off air con on return journey as well. He also went the wrong way on the inward & outward journeys.The taxi driver,driver for the 1st hour hotel & staff were all exemplary unfortunately as I was made so ill I could not enjoy any of this. It was only the actions of this one man. I have contacted Glentons & I am yet to get a reply other than the standard we will get back to you within 28 days. I was only able to contact in writing I was unable to directly talk to customer services.

myself and husband did the river cruise ROMANCE OF THE RHINE last year really enjoyed it .The staff on board went out of their way to make our holiday great. The coach driver was fantastic and looked after everyone. Especially helpful as my husband had a mobility walker.
WE HAVE BOOKED THIS TOUR AGAIN AT END OF JULY.
The only negative was no door to door pick up

The hotel was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and well presented. The coach was comfortable and the driver was efficient.

Trip to Liverpool
Coach was clean and comfortable and a very smooth journey to our destination. The driver was very good and helpful and made sure we were happy with the hotel and trips. A very good holiday.

Just returned from a fantastic holiday in Bodelwyddan castle. The food was delicious and the menu catered for everyone, and the entertainment was top notch. To me though the holiday was made even better by our driver IAN his knowledge of the excursions and places to visit helped us chose where to go. I have been on a few Glenton holidays but never one as friendly and accommodating as IAN, nothing was too much trouble and patience with the people with poor mobility was amazing.The staff at the castle were excellent in particular our waiter Jack and bar worker Tracy. The main attraction for us was the fact as select passengers we were picked up at our home.
The trip was very enjoyable. Coach was pristine and really comfortable.Our driver was a most pleasant helpful and considerate man.
Our hotel, first class, well run, clean and comfortable.Service and menu excellent.and perfectly situated directly opposite Albert Dock. A bonus, as my husband is disabled and unable to walk far.
All in all we enjoyed a wonderful trip and I would not hesitate to use Glenton in the future.

Moira made the experience she is an excellent host full fun information looked after us all The destination was good hotel food my room was ok but could do with freshen up of paint Excursions good could have added a bus trip round Tuscany countryside I was quite happy and enjoyed my holiday

Everything went smoothly. The driver was excellent as was the hotel. The only thing that irked was that my friend and I would have preferred a room on the same floor as requested but didn't get.

It was a lovely trip made more so by the courier Moira. She organised every thing so well and ensured everyone was included. Her friendly nature rubbed off on the other companions and made for a very happy group. Nice hotel plenty of food and no complaints ♥️

Great holiday in Liverpool, spacious leg room on the coach, excellent hotel and the driver Alan was excellent and knowledgeable

Travel and Hotel accommodation was satisfactory and comfortable. Because of the weather tours were perhaps less enjoyable. For future planning please note that the Museum in Newtonmore apparently does not reopen until beginning of April but on the whole this was pleasant break

We visited Letterkenny in Ireland to celebrate St. Patricks day. Everything about our 5 day trip was excellent, from Glenton Holidays adding an additional pick up point for our group in Perth. Darren, our driver was friendly and very professional and kept his bus immaculate. The hotel was great and in a super location and our excursion to Derry was very educational. I would highly recommend booking with this company

1. On St Patricks Day in Galway 2026, spectators were standing 5 deep on both sides of the parade route. Could not see very much. Woman in front of me put up her umbrella and nearly poked my eye out. I would have preferred evening Irish entertainment instead. When I got home, I watched everything on YouTube. Many of the groups had placards in the Irish Gaelic. A commentary in English, on both occasions, would have been helpful. Drop this one.
2. Bunratty Castle and medieval quarter was a disappointment. When I learned that the military lived in the castle along with the gentry and servants, this was a turn-off. The cottages had much of a sameness about them. Find elsewhere to visit.
3. The Cliffs of Moher day was delightful. Easy walk up to the top, then caught the land train back. The visitor centre was most informative. The highlight of the holiday.

The hotel was good, the excursions not so good. At each location we were told where the coffee shops were but no further information and no commentary on the bus about the area. For instance at Newtonmore we were told there was a museum but she thought it was closed, it was. However there was a Heritage Walk with information about 13 sites around the village which I followed, not mentioned.

Helpful booking staff. A good driver and comfortable coach, nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was a bother to them. Also nice people on the trip which was a bonus.

Stayed at the Craiglynne Hotel Room had no central heating and electric wall heating also not working safely and advised not to use for 2 days reception kept promising to sort problem Snow on ground !Refused request to move room , hotel nor full! It was so cold I had to take a shower at 3 am to keep warm !! Inadequate furniture in room and did not appreciate being mocked when I explained! Glenton rep told me she was only the Friendly face of Glenton and was unwilling to intervene !!!! No tv in my room all week although other hotel guests did have working tV Hotel trotted out lame excuses as to when tv problem would be resolved but on speaking to guests from a German coach party they had working t v The rep had not investigated what clients could do as most places were closed and kept saying “ Just go and have a wee cup of tea and maybe a biscuit” Thereby. treating clients as children !!

I enjoyed the holiday. Really nice, friendly companions on the trip.
