The installer, Patrick, was very knowledgeable of the system and spent a much time as we needed to ensure that we were comfortable operating the system before he left.

Talking to a representative on the phone is not a satisfactory way to do business with Dish. They talk at length about which channels you want but they don't cover things like what apps you will receive on your hopper. We wanted Netflix as an option and made the mistake of assuming it was included in our order. Once service was up and running we saw that it wasn't. When we contacted Dish directly one person said we could have a different hopper at no extra expense and they passed us on to their supervisor who then told us that we would need to pay an extra $135 to get a hopper which had the Netflix app on it. After spending $168 to hook up so they wanted over $300 just so we could get Netflix.
We have Apple TV so we still could get Netflix just not as conveniently. After canceling one service to get another it feels like they have you at their mercy and they don't particularly have any.

We hit some bumps along the way buy They never gave up until they got me situated they truly were an amazing team

I recently switched over to GoDish. The installation was fast, professional and the installer spent a good amount of time reviewing the operation of the equipment. The price was right too.

At first I was very disappointed. The rep that set me up told me some channels I would get and couldn't that are very much a part of our daily lives. After talking with several customer service employees I finally got a senior rep that made things right. I suggested they educate their reps. We will say

No one ever calls us back they put us on hold and we get cut off they have very bad service and it’s not working correctly or voice

There us an extra fee using this rather than going directly to dish network. Not very helpful customer service

At initial installation technician said he could attach an digital antenna to the dish to get local channels due to placement of the dish and that antenna was approved. Local channels did not appear on my guide. I called Dish and was informed the digital antenna was not approved by Dish. Second technician came and said the dish did not need to be moved just redirected. It was just a time consuming issue with having to wait.

. the service is lousy with the phone and internet hughesnet is the worst I have ever seen...we have been waiting weeks for them to port our phone number that we have had for decades...I have spent literally hours on the phone with non English speaking people and astonished at their uncaring attitude...I have been talked to by their people worse than anytime in my life and I am a very polite person...however, I will be contacting the fcc and I will pursue our telephone number,

oh yeah, we have to keep paying our previous charter bill while we are waiting for the phone to port.
as a 91 yo, I shouldn't have to be stressed like this.

Slow and hesitant on giving correct information. But the technician iinstalled was excellent.

I never got my gift card for signing up. it's been three months. I called and was told a card was sent to me in the mail, and was time sensative. and i will not recieve the card. in my view, its a scam. am also talking to bbb in texas.

Happy with the TV programming, But when i signed up with Dish . there offer was to present me with a $100.00 gift card. which i never received. Very disappointed.

So satisfied looking forward to learning more about the service
