First time user & how straightforward it was! Downloaded the app & then we met Matt. Found each other very easily & had a great ride.
Thoroughly recommend. Black cabs are small businesses - owner/operated mostly. & the know London.

I have ordered two taxi’s with the app, both experiences were great. Taxi’s arrived between 2-3 minutes, both drives were friendly and helpful. I like how you have a photo of the driver and reg of the car given on booking, great for single women. Would definitely recommend

This is a terrible app
This is a terrible app. They charge extra during what they consider “high demand” periods without properly informing customers, and the fee is not small at all. You only realise it when you see it on your bill, which is unacceptable. I will continue using other apps—definitely not Gett anymore.

I am very sorry to hear about your frustration regarding the High Demand Fee. To help clarify, this fee is only in effect during exceptionally busy periods to ensure we can get as many drivers as possible on the road to meet our passengers' needs.
We do our best to ensure all fees and charges are clearly presented in the app before you confirm your booking. I understand our support agents shared a screenshot with you showing how this is displayed, but I am sorry if you felt it was not visible enough, especially since you are new to our service.

Helped a lot
We had a medical emergency and had to get to a specific hospital to sort it. We needed a large vehicle with a separate area so Gett was the obvious answer. Only drawback was the time it took to get to the location even though it wasn’t the height of the rush hour so a few shortcuts wouldn’t have gone amiss. Otherwise would recommend.
