I recently made a purchase for the Slip-On Orthopedic Leather Shoes (GTSBY419882), but it was the wrong size. I ordered 7.5 (41) but received size 8.0 (42). I was told the size 42 represents the size 7.5 and 8.0 shoe. I don’t understand how this is true because I’ve seen purchased at least 3-7.5 shoes with the European label size 41. I am really disappointed because I really liked that shoe.

I bought a pair of Black Gatsby Shoes in 8/24/2024 and they are not usable due to the Glue Lines Separating on Both Shoes an Separating on the left side of the Left shoe. I would like to get them replaced or a Refund of the Purchase price of $72.84 that I paid for them. They have had only normal wear.

If I could give it NEGATIVE stars I would, I have had my shoes LESS than a year and they have fallen apart already! Customer Service said "they cannot help me"

Ordered orthopedic shoes and paid for free and easy returns just in case,and when I had to return them because they were too narrow I got hit 30 dollars in return fees not at all happy,very misleading

My experience wasn’t bad . It’s just that the boots ( old town orthopedic leather boots) are not leather at all. My husband has been looking for a good /comfortable pair of boots and he thought these were it. He drives truck and he is in them for long hours. I should have looked into it more before ordering. I spent $111.00 because I also got the return protection on top of the$99.00 boot price and I’m only getting $81.00 back because of restocking fee. I think that’s ridiculous! Buyer beware these boots are nothing like the description and are plastic junk!!

I ordered a pair of shoes, confident that if I was unhappy for any reason I would be able to return them. This seemed especially to be the case because I was charged a fee upfront should such a return be necessary. I received the shoes, they were not sized correctly and had an overwhelming scent of high-grade plastic, not the promised leather. I returned the shoes, explained my reason and expected a full refund. I received a refund less $28, which was retained by Gatsby’s. I attempted to reconcile my discontent twice, to no avail. I would never recommend others order from Gatsy, unless you want to less than 75% of your purchase price if you need to make a return. A sad and disappointing first time experience.

I had an issue with one of the pairs of shoes I bought. The sole for some reason started separating. I sent a photo and the next day got a complete refund. No hassle, no issues, just an apology and my money back. Totally turned around my opinion.

First time visit. Will be back especially since you offer Wide as an option. I am 4E.

My son has really loved his shoes. When we had a defect with the second pair we ordered, they were replaced within 24 hours without any question or fuss. We will continue to come back to this company.

Bought a couple pair to occasionally use at work. Happy with the shipping and looks of the shoes but the quality seemed to be lacking for the price. Wore one of the pairs maybe ten times and the shoe came completely unglued from the sole. Contacted customer service to which I received a prompt and polite response telling me I bought them more than 6 months ago so they would not replace. Not mad about that just disappointed they lasted less than a year with less than ten uses. Buyer beware these are over priced and under quality shoes.

Promised delivery on certain date, delivered.
Promised this would a comfortable shoe, delivered.
Good fitting, stylish, have recommended to others, and that doesn't come easy.
Try them, you love them.

Attempted to get a replacement for a defective purchase, and apparently company policies, prohibited the agent that assisted from doing anything meaningful

Got the shoes quickly. Nice quality. Quick responses to my texts about need to exchange them.

It was quick and to the point! He was professional and exact.
However I was very disappointed with the warranty and backing you have for your product! Not sure that a 6 month warranty on the sole coming up is realistic. Usually when you buy a good pair of shoes you don't have to look at the sole for problems, because I have never had a sole come up on a pair of dress shoes I have owned. I guess I better be more careful with the other pair I bought. Oh too late it has already been 6 months.

The shoes are poorly made the material is cheap they charge you when you buy the shoes for the opportunity to even return them and then when you try to return them, they give you the runaround and charge you a 10% restocking fee. They are so poorly made that they should be ashamed even to sell them for $2.99. Any reviews that say they are great our lies! when I opened them up, I was hoping to have a nice pair of shoes for the $99 price tag what I got was two pieces of leather that weren’t even stitched together. They look like a cheap pair of Chinese dollar $.99 shoes what a joke they are. gatsby has asked for more details and have asked for this review to be taken down. Ok the workmanship is poor at best. The back and sides of the shoes have two pieces of poor quality leather that are not even glued, stitched together they are not finished to be round at the heal they are kind of square at the heal and the pieces of leather are not together but separated and thread is hanging from all the stitching around the entire shoe. Some of the perforations on the shoe are not completely punched though and you have to use a punch to complete the hole. I wish you could post pictures on this review I’m sure they don’t let you or people see just how terrible the shoes are.

Quick response time. No resolution though. Still don’t have the product and there has been no update on it for 2 weeks.

I bought a pair of shoes and absolutely loved them. Got a lot of compliments as well! Unfortunately, one of them had a minor defect. I sent an email to support and got a response very quickly with detailed information on how to get the issue resolved - at no cost to me!

It's great to know that the company will stand behind their product and more importantly, support their customers when there is an issue.

I shared a potential design concern with Gatsby Shoes’ customer service center; Angeline received and responded to my message almost immediately (a surprise, being it was the weekend). She graciously acknowledged and addressed my concern, up-channeled it to the design team and quality control, then responded again promptly with another update on the outcome. Her character and kind demeanor were impeccable. She even offered me a significant discount on a future order for my trouble, something I didn’t expect. Angeline certainly put a positive, professional face on the company and their products.

Got the shoes and they feel great, note they are imitation leather
