Fast and friendly service
My Wife had an infection and was given anti-biotics. She had this same thing several times, so it was a known issue. She was able to talk with a Dr. in just a few minutes, rather than waiting days to see her regular Doctor. Very friendly guy and courteous.

GETTING IT DONE
I was able to get stop gab meds for a few days when there was an issue with delivery system my insurance demands. I spoke with a doctor quickly and he was able to help me manage some current consistent anxiety I am having. I was able to do this while at work and it was seamless.

Absolute scam. Paid $109 for a single visit waited a week to speak to a doctor then at that that time sent a message saying consultation ended due to an inactive membership. Will not get back to me whatsoever. Absolute money grab Do Not Use!!

Excellent, Timely Care - Highly Recommend!
While traveling I had an extremely painful medical condition occur during the New Year’s weekend. Everything local was closed. I found Galileo via google, thank goodness!
By the next day I had an appointment followed by a prescription for the antibiotics I desperately needed. I have been on the mend since.
I could not be happier with my entire Galileo experience. I am beyond grateful for their expertise and excellent care.

More money, less reliable
I have been using Galileo for years. So I’ve seen how the service has changed. There have been several times that I wrote a bad review but then got good service from them so I took it down. At this point it’s just too hit or miss for me.
This started out as an affordable texting service. It was great to get quick medical help or if you didn’t have health insurance. Fast-forward years later and the service has gone up in price by a lot. But somehow it’s become less reliable.
I think the final straw for me was right before Christmas. They used to send reminders about refills and that seems to have stopped. I reached out to them for a refill a few days before Christmas. And they never got back to me. I would follow up by texting again only for support to write me and tell me that I’m in a queue. I thought I had given myself enough time to get a refill before Christmas because I knew the pharmacy would be closed and I would end up out of thyroid medication. I ended up having to pay another teledoctor service who was able to immediately help me. They eventually contacted me a day or two after Christmas. Had it not been for the other teledoctor I would’ve been without thyroid medication for 2-3 days.
I have decided that it is time for me to use a primary doctor again. I just don’t like the changes and I feel like the service is getting more expensive but less reliable. The new thing is to randomly send you a link to join a video that you never scheduled. This could be while you’re working. This could be while you’re out walking the dog. This could be while you’re sitting in a movie theater. My point is how do you randomly invite somebody to a video message? You don’t know what they’re doing at the time. Then it does give you the option to schedule if that time doesn’t work, which just delays even further. It seems to me that they need to figure out what they want their service to be. Either you wanna be a texting service or you want people to schedule appointments with you. This current system does not work for me.
I have a year membership and I went to cancel it, but the cancel button does not work in the app. So I sent an email to support and I also asked for help canceling in the general chat. It’s been about 18 hours and no one has responded to me. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because sometimes they are reliable. But I just can’t do sometimes.

Before anything else, please accept our sincere apologies for the wait times you and our other patients faced this holiday season. Waiting a couple of days to be addressed and heard is unacceptable, it’s disappointing, and we’ve been working hard through the past couple weeks to ensure that every patient gets an answer and a solution to their needs as soon as possible. We deeply regret that you had to spend an important holiday stressed, looking for solutions, and without a necessary medication.
We’re sad to hear your concerns about our system as well. Our refill reminders are indeed still in place, and as before, they take into account how much medication you report having on hand at the time of your last visit with us, so it looks like your refill reminder this time was scheduled to be sent farther out than expected. You also bring up a great point about on-demand vs. scheduled visits. We consider the video visit the gold standard of care and we want to give patients both the option for care as soon as a doctor is available, or at scheduled time of their choice, to suit different needs. We’ve offered both options for a while, but if wait times are high, we can certainly see how on-demand feels more like an imposition than the convenience we intend.
In this case neither approach was helpful to you, and we’re sorry. We’re continuing to think of ways to provide quality, accessible care, and this feedback will help us. We wish you the best of health moving forward in your care journey. At this time your membership has been successfully canceled with us, but if we can assist with your transition of care to another provider at all, please let us know.
