I visit Gab mostly to post my travel photos to their various photography groups. The political content on Gab's country and news pages is certainly right of center, just as what you see on Facebook is mostly left wing. Since that's not my focus it's easy to just ignore the whacko stuff. Some of it is even funny!

About half of these reviews are BS and politically motivated. The only true solution is to give it a try for yourself.

An interesting twitter and facebook alternative. Works very well, has groups, videos upload etc. Pretty promising startup.

Torba has created a true free speech platform. Even though it is built on Christian values, anyone can post their opinion. I personally appreciate that Christianity is a foundation of Gab, and I love it! God Bless America and God Bless Andrew Torba and his family.

I'm reading the negative reviews, and it's blatantly obvious that these people are either trolls, or paid to attempt to damage gab.com. Here's the deal, not one single bad review cited any specific evidence to support their claim. That being said, the people who use Gab, don't accept news or even any information without verification...Anonymous sources, uncited claims, etc are considered false by default...if you have a greivence, PROVE it, your words are only as good as your evidence....PERIOD!

Andrew Torba the CEO is an antisemitic pretending to be a christian . He constantly posts anti semitic rhetoric and reminds me of Hitlers hatred. His constant begging for money shows his inconsistencies. He doesnt care about free speech. He cares that his own sick agendas are able to be spoken, freely. If you are a conservative Christ follower, this is not the place for you. Everyday he posts anti Israel, anti semetic bull. He blames them for the plight of the world. He is as much a luciferian as those he says he started his platform to combat. Stay away from this imp. I hope he fails.

Gab is heavily sensored . Surpposed to free speech platform. Im in no way a radical I'm a conservative have posted reviews on current world events and have not been able to view them on there page. They've been blocked, there are other websites better.

For years now, I keep retrying Gab and keep leaving it for one reason; you end up wasting your time composing posts that won't post or won't update.

"Welcome to Gab, where you can speak freely..." ... to yourself.

Technically, regardless of the justifications and excuses, the bottom line with Gab as a platform has always been that it's a dumpster fire, and the "added features" are just pouring petrol.

What is the result? A perpetual, smoldering, toxic mound of hot garbage with no end in site.

I switched to Gab from Facebook I can read up alot more on current events without being censored or banned from. Communicating with family and friends

I enjoyed Gab initially. I joined several groups but my main posts were on the Christian group - daily Proverbs and scripture quotes. I posted " I stand with Israel" and received a notification from Phil the moderator of the Christian group saying my spam was unacceptable and I was no longer allowed to post - then they promptly removed me from the group. This is a group that allows a multitude of anti-semetic posts regularly! Goodbye Gab you are no different then any social media when it comes to censorship!

Gab is a unsolicited platform where you may as well be on the DARK NET.
It is full of White supremacist's, is full of racism and asks for donations or to buy clothing that are offensive to others!
Andrew Torbet is not as Christian as he tries to tell the Gab people, look into his past!

I recently checked and this Gab.com leaked my data somewhere. It could be a big issue if the servers are not protected enough for the company users.
Still, the service could be a bit opened for non-subscribed users.

The media propaganda that says gab is overflowing with far right extremist groups, anti-semites and racist talk is just that- propaganda. You would have to dig deep to run across any of them. Are there racists and anti-semites on there? Sure- but it’s a free speech platform. You can keep your account private, block any account you don’t want commenting on your posts- and you can follow some of your favorite conservative voices, and news sites. I never see spam. I don’t see fake news. I don’t see illiterates making comments you can’t make sense of. There are respectful conversations between people who go out of their way to be informed of the facts. I’m not a vocal religious person and gab is grounded in it’s Christianity - and that’s fine. It doesn’t interfere or change the way I view gab- I’m never made to feel uncomfortable- maybe because I support religious freedom just as I support our freedom of speech- your beliefs and words do not harm me, interfere with my beliefs or have an effect on my freedoms, nor mine, their’s. That’s how free speech works. Whatever you might of heard that keeps you from joining gab, comes from people with a biased agenda. Don’t let them think for you.

Excellent site, actually promotes freedom of expression for once, and encourages good well throughout conversations. Did have some serious problem's with site overloading for a while after the severs became overwhelmed with new traffic however that issue seems to be fixing itself in good order

I tried it for three months to get away from Twitter. After trying Gab, I had to delete my account. It is as bad as they say it is. Multiple Holocaust-denying groups that have been spewing lies and hate for several years that they have been open. The creators don't care as it is 'free speech'. Free speech is not saying whatever you want, however you want, whenever you want, wherever you want. That is anarchy.

HACKED!!! SERIOUSLY?!?! So yesterday Torba makes this post (which is who you will hear from most like he is your God and you are his minions...anybody else miss Tom?) saying it was his and "Trumps" account that got hacked and how "honest" he is with us yadda yadda....NO! According to the news and everyone else TODAY, WE ALL GOT HACKED!! But as for his "honesty" it's not really Trump's account even though it continues to post new things, if you read the bio it's just Trumps archived Twitter posts, yet it posts new videos of things like the cpac speeches, AND says it has like 1.8m followers but if you click it it says this person has no followers... WHAT A FRAUD! Yeah, so UNFORTUNATELY I had a friend sign up the night before to see if they got any "likes" or any sort of response to be fair and nope, same as me, immediate shadow ban! We can't even find each other in a search! But we both got "sign up for premium!" messages when we tried to post...HAH! I don't think so. If I can't see if I like it there I'm surely not going to pay for it to find out. But not only does my loyal friend test something for me, but they get snagged in the hack! Thanks a lot!...There are some decent people there, unfortunately the "leader" has such a god complex it's not a nice place, he's daily calling someone names and this guy seriously reminds me of a cult leader, using verse when it suits his needs then spewing toxic hate in the same sentence all while telling people how great him and Gab are and trying to get people to do his bidding against others. But I guess everyone will figure that out soon enough thanks to him trying to be facebook, twitter, and youtube all at once BEFORE getting decent security in place, a scam last week, a hack this week, I'm furious!!

Very sad that indoctrinated haters come here to trash a social media website built by a Christian that had to withstand slander and lies spewed at him for years.

All credit card processing companies pulled the plug on him because he's Christian, including China owned Paypal. His initial server was cutoff as well because the Demonic Left doesn't want ANYONE else to succeed unless you are in lockstep with their beliefs. (Hypocrites much?).

Foolish people on here calling it a place for white supremacists? Shows how easy it is for the propaganda media to fill your empty heads with LIES. Yes, they are LYING to you. Alinsky rule: Keep repeating the same lie over and over again until most will believe its the truth.

On the technical side, since Gab has increased in traffic, things are at times slow or wonky, but have patience. I have noticed several dozen fake accounts - same follow count (4) - no bio - no Gabs yet have thousands of followers. Since "Gabbing" about it, most have simultaneously put in some bios on the very same day. It's weird and I suspect they are all run by a Gab employee. The question is WHY?

The very first thing I ran into were several white supremacists saying some extremely nasty things about jews and blacks. Things that were offensive to all walks of life. They all have accounts plastered with pictures of hitler, swastikas and the KKK. This is not my idea of free speech......his is actually the definition of hate speech. If you have any conservative or moral values this place will make your skin crawl. Absolutely disgusting
