The process of orderI went quite smoothly but the return and exchange process wasn’t as easy. Got a size too big and wanted to exchange for a size down. The company promptly provided the return label but unfortunately the nearest DPD drop off point from where I live it’s about 30 min so I only could drop it off the day after. Long story short the exchanged pair never got to me before the 14th and in the 15th DPD simply missed the delivery and I had to collect the exchanged pair from the same drop off point. A bit unfortunate but overall was a situation out of from the first control. They still kept in touch with me and apologized for what happened. Nevertheless the boots are great quality and would 100% recommend anybody to shop from them

Great boots, outdo the slp boots in every category

Great quality boots! The break in period take a while for the boot to mold to your foot but it is worth it. Excited to have these for a lifetime.

The products seem like they were made in china.
The design is obviously not original and from my experience, the details and craftsmanship are just like a good quality Chinese leather workshop. For this price, I don't recommend buying. You can find used SLP boots on grailed for lower than this. Also, the SLP ones have at least better value if you ever want to sell them.

The order was proceed and shipped to me in an excellent manner. The red books were rocking. Consider a darker shade of red in the future. It would allow greater usage. The patent leather boot are beautiful, but the quality of the patent covering was disappointing. There had wrinkles on the unexposed side of the boot. There is a significant difference between them and my SL version of the same boot. I have 6 pair of your boots and this was was the first time I felt the quality did not do justice to the brand.

I ordered the lizard marron and rainbow glitter boots for my husband’s birthday. And they did not disappoint! These boots are beautiful! My husband was floored. No one can top this gift!!! Oh and I received them within 3 days of ordering. AMAZING! Thanks FROM THE FIRST!

You know when you find a new brand online and your skeptical about ordering because your afraid the brand may pull some BS?

Well, FROMTHEFIRST is that brand, but you decide if I'm out of line or they are.

Line of events

- I purchased (2) boots on sale.

- Both boots have been worn and/or are someone's return

(I believe when they run a sale they are actually selling you refurbished/return boots, a friend of mine bought boots during the same time and his were damaged as well but not as bad as mine)

- I contact them to correct the issue and I am told that they don't offer returns on 'sale items', your essentially buying 'as-is' condition boots when you buy on sale with no refund, but they advertise as new, interesting.

This isn't advertised on the product page but in the "small print" when you accept their terms. Not necessarily the worst thing in the world but the average person does think they can return a product even if it's bought on sale.

- I say fair enough, I've got swindled, I can't get a refund, at least I can exchange the boots.

***Here's the real kicker and a true chess play to swindle any buyer looking to simply buy some boots.

- I was told staff was not available due to "Holiday leave" and in a follow up email I ask for the exchange of boots.

FROMTHEFIRST is now stating that because the request for exchange was made '14 days after delivery', they willl now deny any requests.

I wrote them before the 14 days. I was denied a refund for damaged boots, so I request an exchange then denied for being past 14 days.

They totally ignore the fact I was given damaged boots.

Why am I not giving these guys 1 star? Because I've got to give the mastermind behind this some credit.

They were definitely thinking something along the lines of -

How can I ensure that every dollar I get is kept? Well, let's design the return process and return communication as tedious as possible so we can try and get off on a technicality on how this buyer who invested near a thousand dollars into our brand can now shrug away their losses because we can delay communication and then try to count it as "past the return policy".

This brand made me think of this hypothetical brand growth scenario because of how diabolic this business decision is..

What if someone had a telegram group with a few thousand folks and could "endorse" this brand and have their community:

- buy their inventory, try it on, and if they didnt like it they would abide by their return policy and then have hundreds of boots being returned to their warehouse.

Or better yet, what if...just a what if, these same customers decided to try out FROMTHEFIRST every single quarter for the next 3 years and simply buy, sample out and then abide by their policy?

Just a random thought, it sounds like it would definitely be a merchant account problem, maybe a cashflow problem, maybe an inventory management problem? Or it could be a bunch of loyal customers that do not give up on this brand and continue to give this brand a chance every 90 days but simply then find the brand has not improved and have to continue to return.

You win some, you lose some and I'm definitely out of a thousand dollars here but as one of my mentors would say..

"Sometimes to win the war, you've got to lose the battle."

I've got a new hobby now and I think I will avenge all that have been burned by this brand.

after all, all good... but the customer service is not the best.
The shoes were really not to my satisfaction.

Left a terrible review at first, but then got the attention of the brand, and we settled on a fair deal. Got a further discount on the boots.

Excellent customer service and the product is superb! You could literally smell the leather off the shoe the moment you take it off the box. 10-10 would recommend this brand to anyone I know!
