We appreciate that this has most likely been a frustrating and stressful time for you, but please rest assured that an arrangement has been put in place to allow all students to continue working towards their Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym-Based) and Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training.
Please read the information below carefully as it will outline your next steps.
On the 8th April 2019, FitLearn came under new ownership to assess it’s future potential. As a result of this assessment, the new owners and their professional advisers have today taken the steps to enter FitLearn Ltd into voluntary liquidation.
Between the current owners, their professional advisers and previous key team members we have worked hard to minimise the impact to students and allow you to continue studying to achieve your qualifications and have managed to source an external contractor who has agreed to complete all assessments. This contractor will not be acting as an agent of Fitlearn Ltd and has not been instructed by Fitlearn Ltd. Whilst the contractor has skills and qualifications to complete the assessments, this will not be managed or monitored by Fitlearn Ltd. Students will still have access to all Fitlearn materials and portals up to the date of final submissions. From this date, all portals and learning materials will be taken offline.
Your main concern is sure to be what impact this will have on you. As stated at the beginning of this email, you will be able to continue studying the Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym-Based) and Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training until 1st July 2019.
After this time you will no longer be able to access your online portal or submit any assessments for marking. All assessments that have been submitted prior to the 1st July 2019 will be marked and results returned by 31st July 2019.
Ongoing studying is subject to the following conditions:
1. The ability to continue to study relates to the Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym-Based) and Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training only. All students studying any other qualification should visit (insert leadings FitLearn page), where further details will be provided.
2. Registration and certification fees are due at the time of assessments being submitted. Payment will be available through your learning portal.
If you have previously submitted assessments but have not yet been given feedback, we will get this to you as soon as we can. While we appreciate that you have already been waiting longer than expected, please understand that we will be working to get all students work marked as swiftly as possible and by having to spend time answering requests as to how long this may be, it will mean that our attention is taken away from getting feedback to you. We therefore ask for your continued patience.
3. Kettlebell, Circuit Training, Indoor Cycling and Strength and Conditioning CPD courses will still be available however, all completed courses will be awarded a FitLearn certificate only via the portal upon completion.

Waste of time and money.
I started this course in November and it was going smoothly until recently, they are not answering any calls or emails even after sending one to say that their company is unsustainable. Fitlearn has become extremely unprofessional and has left me very worried that all my hard work has been for nothing and i am sure many others.
There has been an extreme lack of support of which they promised on their website and this is completely unacceptable.

Company in Liquidation
They have announced they are now in liquidation.
The awarding body NCFE have informed me they have severed all ties with them, so even if they say they have an assessor to look at the work, the qualifications will not be awarded by NCFE and not recognised by the industry.
They will be worthless.

I am really enjoying the new update on…
I am really enjoying the new update on the course I find the videos very helpful and informative. The only thing I have an issue with is that I paid extra for an extended course when I shouldn’t have, and when I inquired about the overcharge i was then told that I would be receiving a phone call but heard nothing and I’ve emailed again and again but still had no response. It’s a real shame because other than that everything else has been great.

I enrolled in August, now cannot contact my tutor or anyone for support. Today they have deleted their facebook page.
I contacted the awarding body NCFE who confirmed they are no longer registered as a training provider with them.
Noone will call me back from their management office. I have paid £479 for the course and another £80 for certification for a course that they are not qualified to deliver.
Terrible.

No response to email and calls -
Very poor service. Nobody is responding to my emails or calls regarding my assessment submission. I have paid course fee, certification fee and also paid for training day yet they keep ignoring my emails.
They said it will take 6weeks for assessing my LAP and practical assessment video, its been 9 weeks yet they are not responding to any of my 6 emails to the tutor and keep ignoring my calls.
The sales person said they will let the tutor now about this but its been 9 days since no one got back.
I have been receiving promotional emails to pay for additional training day but no body bothers to respond to the emails.
Very unprofessional, Highly disappointed.

I would highly recommend taking your money elsewhere and find a reputable provider. Purchased a level 4 PT package for a considerable amount of money in 2018 and they are refusing to provide me with the additional courses I paid for leaving me in employment and financial difficulty. This company preys on making a quick financial gain from people who want to get into the growing fitness industry. They have been dishonest about certification fees, changed the course providers from CPD to ABC Awards without notifying their enrolled students and removed courses I was enrolled onto claiming they were never a part of their packages, when clearly their online prospectus tells otherwise. I am hugely disappointed in the way this 'company' treats their customers and there is so much more I could write about the way Fitlearn has failed myself and probably so many others recently. It's a disgrace and the whole process has been handled by Fitlearn incredibly poorly. Please do not get sucked in by the low prices. When something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
Update To Fitlearn's Response:
You are actively trying to remove peoples reviews from Trustpilot so that others can't see what's going on. You have removed from your website your trustpilot score so others can't see whats going on, whilst still accepting payments for your courses, to which there is no tutor support and responses &/or resolutions to student complaints. So yes, it would appear that Fitlearn is focused on making a quick financial gain. £10 would not be a sensible price for your courses.
The certification fees were advertised to me at £98 for both Level 2 and 3. Confirmed via email from your previous tutor and through your prospectus. You charged me £170 for both. Dishonesty.
You sold me a package for £1599.00 including six additional VTCT endorsed courses. During my time studying you removed these courses I was enrolled onto and changed the educational provider to ABC Awards. Trying to say I was enrolled onto these updated courses which were now being sold in the region of £700. You are withholding over £1000 of additional courses that I am entitled to when i signed my contract. You are breaching the contract.
I got in touch with your support email and my response? A vague email from the director saying he'll be in touch only to never receive any call whatsoever and still being left in the dark over the entire situation. My courses are not available and have NOT been activated onto my portal. Absolute Disgrace

I’m truly sorry you feel you’ve been left in financial and employment difficulty as a result of the delay in the courses.
We are not focussed on quick financial gain as you mention but remain focussed on making industry qualifications affordable and accessible to all at a reasonable and sensible price.
I would be keen to hear further about the dishonesty behind the certification fees. We aim to make these as clear as possible on our website and all additional marketing material but are open to guidance and feedback as to how we could make these clearer.
In terms of the CPD courses, these are a reflection of Continuing Professional Development and were never offered as endorsed by CPD accreditation however, our relationship with ABC Awards now mean we can offer these with certification and recognition from a third party and that they match the ofqual level descriptors.
I would be keen for you to get in touch on support@fitlearn.co.uk as I would suspect that your courses are now available and just haven’t been activated on your portal.

Give it a 1 star rating because it’s been 2 weeks since I paid for my level 3 PT Certificate and I haven’t been able to speak to my Tutor for advice on how to proceed with the course. Spoke to some one in their sales department who took my mobile details for my Tutor to make contact but as yet I haven’t received the call. Very disappointed so far and doesn’t bode well for future communications!

Hi guys, signed up with fitlearn at midnight, initially had a bit of a problem, which was quickly resolved, Kate the course tutor was brilliant, she rang me in the morning, and sorted it out.
I must say i'm very impressed by the quick response. Kate got in touch with me straight away in response to my query i sent on student portal.
Looking through the material it is very well presented. Having done a lot of online courses the material is of a high standard and queries responded to promptly.
I've just started and will keep you updated once i get properly started, however; so far, has been impressive. I would recommend this company, the course is well put together and clearly explained. I am very much looking forward to getting properly started.

I completed my course in a year but speed was not a priority for me.
Kate the tutor was always on hand to help and responded quickly to any tickets raised.
The course was good and well structured. Watch out for special offers as they do some cracking deals from time to time even though the normal prices are very reasonable when compared to other training providers.

Much cheaper and reasonbly priced compaired to other PT qualifications. I used the option of the one day course to complete the Level 2 practical and would thoroughly recommend this for those who have busy lives. Looking forward to achieving my qualifications with Fitlearn.

Fantastic service, great learning resource and friendly staff
Great experience studying for PT qualification with Fit Learn. Much cheaper than the other PT qualification providers and great value for money. During the practical day, the instructors were friendly and knowledgeable, and the tutor support (Kate) is very helpful and resonds to your requests quickly. My experience with Fit Learn has been second to none. Outstanding support and really fast response times. They are so organised, the online portal is so efficient and you cover a lot of ground in the course. Kate has been a big help throughout and I am now doing their PT4 course. This is the best structured distance learning course, they have everything down so perfectly. I have enjoyed the experience and cannot flaw it in any way!

The worst experience with this 'company'
The lack of professionalism this company showed during my course was appalling. I advise anyone looking to head into the PT world stay far far far away from this 'company'. So many hidden payments, hidden costs and bizarre loopholes. Just a money making scheme, they don't care about their customers.

What a great course
What a great course. So professional, so helpful and when I went to the training day Kate my tutor was brilliant. I have passed this course and feel really confident in my ability to work as a level 2 instructor and level 3 personal trainer. All the materials have been very well put together and the responses from my questions and my concerns have always been answered quickly and with the utmost detail. I would highly recommend this course and will in the future be looking to further my qualifications and will definitely look to Fitlearn. ( The dog is really lovely too!)
