Absolute con. Fortunately I didn't pay the full lump up front but got a £227 retail loan from another dodgy company OMNI retail finance. After fitlearn webt under I contacted OMNI who insisted I pay the remainder. Now OMNI are in cahoots with fitlearn, OMNI should vet the companies they offer loans for but no, any dodgy character can get OMNI to take payments for them, do a moonlight flit and the customer is left with OMNI chasing them with threatening letters for a service they didn't receive. Absolute diagrace the pair of them.

Like many of you out there I thought i would give up on gaining my qualification however I discovered Kevin at Norfolk health and fitness in Norwich. These guys are amazing they have really helped me, Their one to one support and classes in Norwich meant I have now gained my level two certificate. Much of the work already done has helped me to speedily move through the course together with constant backing of these guys. I can’t recommend them enough just look them up online!

Just letting people know if you are waiting still for your results check with the NCFE to see if they even registered you or you will be sat like a muppet waiting like I was for a qualification that wasn’t there. It is horrible there are people like them out there. Don’t listen to the new director either. He must have known I wasn’t on the system yet still trying to say the result would come and they are legit.

If anyone has paid for their courses via credit card, you can call up your bank and file a dispute. Give it a go and see what you can get.

****WARNING - MASSIVE SCAM****

Sadly the two people who were running Fitlearn day to day have admitted to money laundering scams and fraud. The male had 14 previous convictions for similar matters. The new director (a family member) also has a previous conviction for a huge scam. The company's original director (another family member) has gone on to set up further online companies. The same virtual registered address in London is used for all. By searching Companies House you can see a LONG history of dodgy looking companies being registered in the same address by these lot. The so-called 'liquidator' appears dubious to say the least. Amazing how much info you can find from digging articles and Companies House records.

We have a Facebook Group called 'Fitlearn Scam Victims.' Just type it into the search bar, then click the 'Groups' tab and you will see it in the results.

Fitlearn told my son that hes level 2 certificate was being requested months ago, after hearing they had gone into liquidation , we rang the NCFE Who confirmed hes certificate had been printed and sent back to fitlearn. As he never recieved it, we bought a duplicate copy from them direct for £35 and recieved it within 10 days. So hes orginal is sitting somewhere in the company where nobody can be bothered to send it out. He was one of the lucky ones by the look if it. So if your in the same situation where your just waiting on your certificate give the Ncfe a ring x

Can anyone please offer an update, I had 1 last assignment to do for my LV3 PT and I can't access the portal today! Obviously everyone on here is saying the same thing and is absolutely gutted! Any help would be great :(

My Partner had signed up to the course in preparation for a change of career, from the off-set I had said that the videos were poorly put together and that the “Tutor” seemed to have absolutely no knowledge, she spent the entire video reading from a textbook and even getting some of those words wrong! However, I have no knowledge of Personal Training so kept quiet.

My partner then received the email advising that Fitlearn had gone into Liquidation, I have an extensive background in Finance, Underwriting and also Forensic Accounting so decided to dig a little deeper!

You may all be keen to know that the new “Director” has previously received a Criminal Conviction for exactly this, scamming people!

Upon further investigation I’ve found that the previous “Director” (likely to be the female ‘Tutor’) in the Training videos had signed the company over to the new Director a matter of days before it went into Liquidation, not only that, the company was (at the same time) re-registered to an address in London that is aimed at new start-ups with no formal registered address (in other words, untraceable to customers!). To add insult to Injury, the previous Director has now opened a further FEW Companies (no doubt with exactly the same intentions!).

Please also feel free to check Companies House, if you search for “Fitlearn Ltd” and look at the previous Director, all of these companies are now listed under her (and also registered to this generic address in London, coincidentally!)

The current Director’s name is also available for you to do your own research through MULTIPLE news articles surrounding his background! (By clicking on his name you can also view the companies he has been associated to and the outcomes of them!)

Absolutely fuming with this whole situation! I had 1 thing left to submit and had to email the support email given to ask a couple of questions - no response. Have now just had an email stating that instead of giving us until the 1st July 2019 to complete anything the date has been brought forward and there's now no access to the student portal or anything. The website however still states the 1st July. Very very disappointed and have no clue on what to do now!

Have messaged Leading.uk to see if they can advise me.

Con from start to finish. Students left hanging in the wind when the directors were found guilty of fraud and the liquidators took over.

Hi I’m very disappointed but I have some news, I just spoken to Jamie from the leading.uk

And apparently they wasn’t aware of this, there has been a communication problems.

I sent Jamie the emails I received from Fitlearn and his viewing it now. So we should know by tonight. So we all should know if we can complete our levels by end of June.

I also contacted NCFE and they said that they will continue to work with Fitlearn until August for the certifications.

Fitlearn is a SCAM, i have emailed and called multiple times and have received no answer. I have tried requesting for my money back but i have had no answer. Please for your sake find another.

We were lied to that we had until July to complete our courses. I wonder what they are doing with all our registration fees now?! I took a risk and paid them as I wanted to be certified and have put endless hours into this course. In the end it was just a scam to get more money. Sigh. Literally no idea what to do next. Maybe contact our banks. Anyway, join the new facebook group and let's get to talking. We are in this together.

"Dear Learner

As you will be aware, I was contracted by FitLearn and Leadings Insolvency Practitioners to assess learners work in order for you to continue working towards your qualifications.

Late on Tuesday afternoon, I was instructed by Leadings/FitLearn to cease assessing work.

I have spoken directly with NCFE to ask about the possibility of learners still being registered and certificated without the backing of FitLearn/Leadings, however it has been confirmed to me today that without the backing of FitLearn I will be unable to register learners.

Therefore all registration and certification fees that have been paid since I was contracted on 05 May 2019 will be refunded. Please allow up to 10 working days for refunds to appear back onto the card that was used for payment. I am afraid I can be of no assistance regarding fees that were paid before 05 May 2019.

I understand this will cause great disappointment and frustration and can only apologise that you will be unable to receive certificates to demonstrate the work you have put in.

Omg I’m gutted . Done all the work to level 3 waiting on last bit of marking and paid everything now I can’t get any certificates! I’ve started a group on face book as can’t find the one mentioned below so join me on Fitlearn student support group . Let’s get together see what we can do :)

All a massive scam.. Make sure not to waste any more time/money. The July 1st end date is just to squeeze any last "certificate fees" or "registration fees" out of people. Do some research and you'll see the owners of this company (scott wolfe, kate hope) have done this for years and have plead guilty - due to be sentenced in the next couple of months. Pretty disgusting to prey on people trying to make more of themselves

The worst scam it happen to me .. very shameful very non professional.. guy I am going to escalate it legally.. we need to act togethe. Let’s build a group in the social media and escalate it to the law to manage get some of our money back
