Installed the esim ok, but wasn't configured properly, AI helped a bit but it took a human (Julia) to get it working properly. Free plan isn't the fastest in the world but a very useful backup.

Great application!!
Great application!! Very easy to use. The setup was quick and the internet started working as soon as I arrived in Nairobi. The connection stayed strong throughout my whole trip. I would definitely recommend it!!

Easy and fast!
I used Firsty during my trip to Kenya and I highly recommend it! So much easier and cheaper than buying and installing a SIMcard at a local shop. I started with the free version, which was already very good, and then I upgraded for a bit more speed at low cost. Whatsapp, google maps, e-mail all worked very fast.

Great experience!
I had my first experience of using Firsty for my trip to Albania and I would highly recommend it. Installation was easy and user-friendly interface made everything smooth and simple. Connection worked perfectly from the first moment I arrived to airport. This app really gave great flexibility while travelling one week around the country.

the app continuously blocks me on free tier, sometimes after I pay for paid tier and it ends they allow me to use free tier again, currently on free tier only payments, google maps and uber works, pretty much nothing else, can't even send a single text message, also you have to pay max premium, as the simple 'comfort tier' is just 3 times faster speed than the 1998 modem speed that the free tier opens, - i've tested in Argentina and Brazil, there are numerous, in fact countless other issues, I don't even have time to list them all, but this app is half-scam in my experience, perhaps it was better in older times, but as they must have grown user base they become worse and worse

Firsty eSIM
I’ve been using my Firsty eSIM in the UK on and off for a while now, and on the whole the idea of free data at reduced speeds in return for watching an advertisement is great, however in reality the speed is so slow it’s very difficult to do much at all. — I would much rather receive a set limited amount of data at a faster speed.
Furthermore, here in the UK, the data allowance for Firsty Free used to be 60 minutes however, recently, it seems to have changed and now only rewards 30 minutes of data albeit with the ability to now stack up to 6 hours. — I’m still trying to get confirmation that this is correct going forward?
Customer support do their best to help, although I have found support is much more proactively available via email rather than the support chat in the Firsty app.
Overall, great idea and concept, but room for improvement.
*Update*
Firsty’s new eSIM provided by BICS does not allow access to the EE network in the UK which is extremely disappointing.

The free tier was designed to give access to basic data, but we’re aware that the speeds can sometimes be limiting. As for the data allowance, you're correct that there have been recent changes, and Firsty Free now rewards 30 minutes of data, with the option to stack up to 6 hours. We’ll make sure to confirm this more clearly for all users moving forward, so thank you for bringing it up.

Made me feel safe and connected during my trip!
It was super easy to set up and worked immediately upon arrival. It is great for sending messages and using maps. If you want things to go faster, the paid version isn’t expensive at all. So that’s what I did!

A unique e sim provider that deserves support
Firsty free gives you 300-200kbps for free by just watching ads. There's nothing else like it, your smartphone needs to support e sim technology though. I just hope the ad based service doesn't get discontinued anytime soon.

De eSIM blokkeerde mijn primaire lijn. Maakte het onmogelijk om gebeld te kunnen worden of zelf te bellen. Je kan het dan niet naast elkaar gebruiken. De provider bij Firsty (kpn.nl) nam het geheel over. Ik kon die er niet uit krijgen omdat die zich nu als primair voordeed. Met moeite contact met helpdesk (eerst bot en dan na heel lang wachten een medewerker): het zal wel aan je apparaat liggen (iPhone 12 max pro). Al meerdere keren in andere landen eSIM voor data naast primair geplaatst, maar Firsty werkt niet. Uiteindelijk bij mijn provider een nieuwe qr code moeten ophalen om mijn primair te herstellen en KPN (Firsty) te verwijderen. Weggegooid geld.

Bedankt voor je uitgebreide feedback, en het spijt ons te horen dat je zo’n vervelende ervaring hebt gehad. Het is zeker niet de bedoeling dat onze eSIM je primaire lijn blokkeert of je bereikbaarheid beïnvloedt.
Firsty is bedoeld als aanvullende data-oplossing die naast je bestaande sim gebruikt kan worden, zonder deze over te nemen. Wat je beschrijft klinkt als een conflict in de instellingen van de eSIM-configuratie, en het zou inderdaad niet mogen gebeuren. Dat dit niet goed is uitgelegd of opgelost bij contact met onze support, nemen we serieus.
We begrijpen dat dit frustrerend was en we waarderen dat je de moeite hebt genomen om dit te delen. Als je openstaat voor verdere opvolging, dan kijken we alsnog graag met je mee om dit goed af te sluiten. Stuur me maar een mailtje bij conrad@firsty.app

Makkelijk en snel te installeren. Ik vind het heel prettig dat je de dagen stop kunt zetten. Zeker als je rondreist of activiteiten doet waarbij je sowieso geen internet hebt. Ik heb hem gebruikt in Indonesië en werkt heel snel en goed!
