We did the 4 day tour with 12 people and 4 crew (Nelson, Carlos, Pique and Heider). We had an amazing time. The hike was hard but doable, and we took lots of breaks and had fruit and snacks all the time. The camps were also nice and there are showers and good food from our cook (vegetarian was also good and had proteins!). The only thing missing at the camps is soap to wash your hands. Our guide did an excellent job explaining the culture and history of the place and the translator was super fluent in english. The lost city feels like a place you need to visit as soon as possible, before more people discover its beauty! 😉

Great experience. The hike and the team (Salseros!!! - Nelson, Carlos, Heider and PK) were very well organised. Broke the hike down into manageable sections. Fantastic food especially the consideration for vegetarians! Accomodation was very good too.

It was a wonderful experience. Our guides/translator/cook were excellent (Daniel, Carlos, Cristian and Pollo). They made our adventure 10 times better. The
were always there when we needed them and answered all our questions. They were very attentive during the walk as well. We were really lucky with the weather too. So a fantastic trip that I really recommend.

We had a fantastic lost city trip with our Tayrona group and guides Daniel, Christian, translator Carlos and cook Pollo. I was the eldest of the group, and therefore a little bit slower, but there was always a guide with me to help and assist me. I think I would not have finished safely without Daniel and Christian. We had delicious food and snacks, thanks Pollo! And Carlos speaks perfectly English, he explained a lot . The guides were respectful to the environment, the people and nature. You could notice that they love their work. All the guides and the food inspired and motivated the group and although it was hard and difficult, we laughed a lot. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE 💛

My 57-year-old mum and I (25-year old) recently completed the 4-day trek to the Lost City (Ciudad Perdida), and it was absolutely incredible! We were part of the Tyrona group, led by the amazing Daniel and Christian, with Carlos as our translator and Pollo as our talented chef😍. Every aspect of the trip was perfectly organized. The guides worked tirelessly, fostering a fantastic atmosphere and providing support every step of the way.

I highly recommend booking with Expotur! From start to finish, their communication was excellent, answering all our questions beforehand and ensuring we felt prepared.

A word of advice: the hike is quite challenging, so pack light and make sure you’re in good physical shape. It’s worth every step for the breathtaking views, fascinating history, and once-in-a-lifetime experience!

It was amazing! Eucario, Carlos and Omar planned it perfectly. They were holding the group together all the time. The food was great, even gluten free for me! Also they took good care of the ones who were struggling. Great experience!

The trek far exceeded my expectations, thanks to the excellent tour guides, extremely helpful translator and skilled cook. They displayed a high degree of professionalism, knowledge and were very fun to spend time with! I would not want to go with any one else, thank you Eucario, Omar, Carlos and AnaLuis.

Each day had a new excitement, with incredible views, waters to cross and new information from the very intelligent guide about the mountains and the indigenous community. It was a pleasure and very interesting to learn so much about the indigenous community who still live there.

The camps were lovely, very clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, with hearty nutritious meals and snacks.

I had the best 4 days getting to the lost city with Expotur. The whole process was so well organised, the guides were great along the way and the camps / food way exceeded my expectations. A big shout out and thank you to the team that accompanied us (Eucario, Carlos, Omar and Ana Ledys)!

El trekking a Ciudad Perdida fue una experiencia excepcional. La organización fue excelente, con tiempos bien planificados y atención perfecta a todos los detalles durante el recorrido.

Recomiendo completamente esta experiencia y especialmente este equipo de trabajo. Vale la pena cada momento del recorrido.

La experiencia fue fantástica. En primer lugar, la organización general de la visita por parte de Expotour fue muy buena. Hay muchos campos donde se puede hacer una pausa, recuperarse y comer fruta, y además las camas en los distintos campos son bastante cómodas.

El equipo de la guía, el intérprete y el auxiliar fue excelente. Quisiera hacer una mención especial al intérprete y traductor Carlos, ya que, además de ser muy profesional, demostró ser extremadamente simpático y cercano. Conversamos con él todo el tiempo y, cuando ya estábamos en camino hacia Santa Marta, incluso regresó una hora de camino para devolver un objeto que había olvidado una compañera del viaje. Esto muestra que su trabajo no lo hace solo por dinero, sino porque realmente le gusta interactuar con la gente.

Definitivamente es una experiencia para repetir. Solo sugeriría mejorar un poco la transparencia en los precios, ya que se perciben diferencias entre los participantes.

We had an amazing time with Eucario, Carlos, Omar and Ana Ledys. On top of that we had a great walking group.
Everything was well organized and the team was super helpful and fun!
I was sick from day one (nor related to the trip) and it was thanks to their help that I managed to enjoy the four days.
I would recommend Expotur to everyone that wants to do the trip.

very nice experience! 4 wonderful days accompanied by Gabriel our favorite guide and Danilo a very good translator. the landscapes are beautiful with all the nature of Colombia. We ate very well with our cook Jamir.

The Lost City Tour was fantastic...everything was very well organized. Our guide (Dennis), translator (Samuel) and cook (Ismael) were excellent.I always felt safe and very well looked after....special thanks to Dennis who always encouraged me and always waited for me because I was the slowest

The 4 day trek to the lost city was really well organized. We had a really nice guide and a translator. Because of low season the group sizes were very comfortable (4 people). Accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable.
The food was really good and along the way were stops with fresh fruits.
