The best experience ever

I think its a great experience, nice and helpful guides and cooks. The food was good and absolutely enough. I liked the refreshes with fruits between the meals. Its a casul atmosphere. Of course things will repeat for guides year after year but they all try to keep on beeing in a good mood and adjusting to the group.
I also got good private exchanges and informations so beeing together it felt a kind of familiar during this trip. Me personally liked the 5th day path the most cause it was more jungle like and really nice waterfalls. Dennis tried her best even with a really small group left on the last day. Brayan and miguel did as well the first 4 days becore splitting the group (4/5 days journey)

Una experiencia con sensaciones refrescantes, con la naturaleza abrazando tu caminata a la ciudad perdida, y el sonido del rio al fondo siendo la brujula de tu destino, la compañía de Iderle y Pilar agrego a la experiencia el toque de conocimientos enriquecedores que le dieron magia al tour, junto con la excelente sazon del cocinero Emiro, se completa un viaje de naturales colombiana, experiencia nuevas, conocimientos ancestarles y un toque de aventura.

Muy buena compañía, los guías (Sixto, Pepe y Alberto)fueron super responsables, nos cuidaron en todo momento. La comida es excelente comida y te llevan por hermosos paisajes y ríos súper refrescantes.

This tour was truly one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had!! We had an amazing and divers group, we called ourselves “Campeches” (named after the farmers in the park). The nature and the lost city itself are ofcourse beautiful, it was really surreal. But what also made it an amazing experience was the organisation of expotur. Our guide Sixto was such a happy and helpful guide, he brought a smile on everyones faces. He is positive, knows a lot about the nature and the history of the lost city and loves to makes jokes. Our translator Alberto did a really good job at translating and had a good vibe with the group. Then we had Pepe, he was helping with the team. He didn’t speak any English, so I haven’t had a conservation with him, but gosh he was just always there for us. He brought us our food, gave us cookies and fruits and made sure everyone had enough to drink during the meals (together with Alberto and Sixto). The meals were prepared by our cook Orlando. I am a really picky eater, but everything tasted wonderful. The food was so good.

Even when some people got sick on the last day (please be careful and wash your hands everytime), these boys took such good care of us. I would really recommend this tour to everyone. It is a lifechanging experience 🫶🏻

The tour is well organized, sixto our guide sympathetic and knowledge one. I got badly sick last day of the trek, Sixto made sure that I will make it towards the end, offered options to ease my pain. Thank you so much for taking good care of us especially me because I was really sick. Wishing and praying for you and your family good health and success.

Our translator Alberto, such a good translator, calm and easy to speak with. He shared many stories to us and also his personal life which is really nice. I wish and pray for your success and good health.

And Pepe, he helped going down the slippery stairs of ciudad Perdida. I have slight knee pain and he saw that I was having a hard time and he proactively helped me. He doesn't say much but he observes very well, he looked after us so much, we called him our Front Man.
Again thank you so much Pepe for helping me, your kindness and patience will not be forgotten

The guides and translator were very professional. They took care of the "slower" hikers, not pushing while others could hike on their own speed.

El trato del personal de Expotur es fantástico. Tanto Sixto como Alberto, el traductor, fueron muy pacientes con nosotros que veníamos lento, y también nos ayudaron en momentos que estábamos muy cansados. Recomendamos al 100% la experiencia.

El tour al Cabo de la Vela y Punta Gallinas fue excelente, muy buena organizaciòn, los lugares donde nos quedamos muy buenos y la gente muy amable. El conductor que nos llevò muy atento y responsable. Gracias por hacer de está excursiòn una maravillosa experiencia. Highlight : poder ver Placton bioiluminoso , sorprendente!

We had an absolutely great tour to Ciudad Perdida with Expotours. The guide (Daniel) and our translator (Alberto) were super nice and we had a great time! Also our group was the best one on the track, so highly recommend Expotours!

The Tour is perfectly organized. The Guides are local people, the huts and food/beverage were absolutly great (also: vegan and vegetarian options are possible!). Four unforgetable days in the ciudad perdida:)

Exceptional attention to detail:
Great and attentive staff, clean and quiet camps, wonderful fresh fruit stops along the trail to pick up some energy - and an amazing destination with the Ciudad Perdida.

An excellent and very supportive guide; everything is perfectly organized. All the traveler has to do is keep walking, enjoy the beauty around them, and not worry about a thing. This trek really does require good physical condition; however, you can cheat a little — by sending your backpack on a mule or covering the final part of the route by motorcycle

Is was Great. Especially Daniel was a Great Guide with a super Sense of Humor. Any time again

We did the 4-day Lost City trek with Expotur and were very satisfied with this organization. Communication by email beforehand was easy and fast. On the day of the tour, we were picked up from our hostel right on time.

Our tour guide (Sixto) was always cheerful and ready to help. When one of our group members got sick, Sixto even carried his backpack. Our translator (Isidroo) spoke excellent English. He also acted almost like a second tour guide and really supported us in the camps along the way.

The camps were better than we expected: decent bunk beds with mosquito nets, toilets, and showers. Each camp also had a small shop for essentials (and even beer!) and sometimes internet. Our own cook (Luz) traveled ahead of us and prepared delicious meals three times a day. There were always plenty of snacks available along the trek as well.

After the hike, we were conveniently dropped off with our big backpacks on the route to our next destination, so we didn’t have to return all the way to Santa Marta.

It was an amazing experience. Luz made amazing food, way better than I expected. The camps were also nice and comfortable. Isdo was a great translator and Sixto the best guide. I got very ill on the second day, and Sixto carried my backpack during this. What a warrior! Very thankful for everything!

Our four-day tour to the Lost City was a unique and wonderful experience thanks to our wonderful guide Jose, our translator Isidor, and the fantastic cook Camila! We felt well looked after at all times and we didn't lack for anything! The guides told us a lot about the area and the people there, which was very interesting! They were very considerate of the group and made every effort to make everyone's experience enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour!
