I had a wonderful experience on the 4 day Lost City Trek with Expotur. Our guide Daniel was funny and super knowledgeable, our translator Ariel was fantastic, and our chef Jamir made great meals. Overall they brought such good energy to the trip and we had such a great group. The trek itself was incredible, through beautiful jungle with many opportunities to cool off from the intense heat with amazing swimming holes. The Lost City itself was impressive, and I enjoyed learning about the history of the region and some of the traditions of the Kogi Indigenous group. Overall fantastic experience, highly recommend!
Tip: bring toilet paper because it is not provided at the camps!

IDA the guid made the trip unforgettable. We heard and seen waterfalls no ither groul went to! She should be your number one guid.

Trekking to the Lost City was an amazing journey! The food was great, and the guide and group provided fantastic support every step of the way.
When I had a last-minute dilemma about switching from 5 days to 4 days, my guide was super accommodating, encouraging me with "Everything is possible in Colombia!" I ended up staying with my group and was totally happy with my choice.
Pro-tip: Double-check before committing to the 5-day trek. Unless your whole group is doing it, it doesn't necessarily make the hike any slower or easier than the 4-day version!

Everything was perfect from start to finish! The food (thx Camila!), the translator (Herbert, you rule!) and the guide (Johan, your devotion to the indigenous community and the hidden spots you let us enjoyed proves that we were very lucky to have you!). The pace of the trek was perfect for our family, we slept pretty well in the camps and the gorgeous Lost City was… well… gorgeous! Kudos to the 2 really great waterfalls we bathed in, the pineapples and watermelons to refresh us all! Thx!!!

Had an incredible time on the 4 day lost city trek. Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish from being collected from our hostel to the very end. Our guides Carlos and Antonio played a massive role in why the tour was so special. They are a massive asset to expotur and their experience and expertise really shows whilst keeping everything playful and enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough and if you are lucky enough to get Carlos and Antonio, it will be an experience to remember.

skilled experienced staff with a must to do trekking to the lost city

Geweldig mooie tour die goed verzorgd is! Goede begeleiding van met name Ariel en eten. Die man is echt zo oprecht en heeft mooie verhalen en is super enthousiast.

Als ik zou mogen aanraden zou ik wel de 3 daagse tour doen. Dan ga je de eerste dag een stuk met de motor wat je anders lopend doet maar dat is gewoon over modder en beton dus niet heel speciaal.

El equipo de trabajo. La guia Elizabeth, el traductor Jostin, la cocinera Luz. Sugiero que los sitos donde hay descanzo para hidratacion y fruta, no cobren la entrada al baño, que en los campamentos haya papel higienico. En el trayecto de 5 dia, nos picaron las garrapatas.

Considero innecesario la caminata del primer día todo por carretera, en pleno sol después del almuerzo en el Mamey . Debería gestionarse subir hasta el primer campamento en algún transporte, Jeep , camionetas.

An absolutely fantastic trek from start to finish! The organisation, food and accommodation at the camps were excellent, and the fruit and water breaks at the interim camps were a welcome touch (as some parts of the hike are difficult). Everything together made for a truly unforgettable experience.

A special mention goes to our guide Dennis, who was exceptional throughout - her knowledge of the trek, the surrounding nature, and the indigenous people added so much depth to the journey and made the whole experience even more special.

Highly recommend this trek to anyone considering it, and if you get the chance to have Dennis as your guide, even better!

The staff were extremely kind and always attentive! The food was delicious. The guide's explanations and translations were all very interesting. I 100% recommend this agency and its staff. Thank you again, it was an unforgettable experience.

The Ciudad Perdida trek was the highlight of my trip to Colombia! It was absolutely incredible! I loved everything about the tour: the trek itself (challenging but amazing!), the scenery, the historical aspect, the daily swims in waterfalls, and the food was delicious (with vegetarian options!).

We had great weather during the day, and it rained at night, my perfect white noise for a good night’s sleep! The dorms were also very clean.

Our guide Antonio and our translator Andrés did an excellent job. They were very knowledgeable and patient. I learned so much about the history of Colombia and the Tayrona people.

I highly recommend doing this trek with Expotur!

Had an amazing time with tourguide Ariel 'Pollo', translator Sophia and the support staff. Everything was well organized, neat and everything else needed for a great experience. Food was delicious and nourishing to get us energized during the day. Enough brakes to swim and recharge. Ariel is very knowledgeable about everything and you can ask him anything about nature and culture of the area. 11/10

The trip was perfectly organized. Our guide, Diego took really good care of us. Justin, our translator was so professional and make the trip so much more enjoyable. And our chef Jainer made such delicious food and fed us so well we were not hungry once. Highly recommend!

Extra special shout-out to Justin who was super connected to the group and ensured every person was having fun and engaged.
