In the meantime I received the refund, so I updated this review. Be ware that it takes a while for them to get back, over a month, but it does happen

If you're reading this and are on the fence about whether to order from Esthe, consider this your sign to NOT order. I saw that the reviews were split 50/50, and I hoped I would be one of the happy customers. I deeply regret my choice.

Here is a list of issues I encountered and reasons to think twice before ordering from this company:

* Misleading Sustainability Claims & Return Hassles: It is clear their investment is in newsletter and social media marketing. Once you sign up, you are bombarded with emails, offering you also discount codes for the things in your shopping card (there was definitely some technology investment there). On the other hand, the customer support for returns is completely unresponsive. I can confirm my return was delivered more than one and a half week ago, and despite two emails to them, I have received no update or refund.
* Inconsistent Shipping Policies: Shipping to you is fast (two days), but returning an item is a completely different story. You are responsible for organizing and paying for the return yourself, which cost me nearly 24€. This feels inconsistent, as even smaller businesses can facilitate returns for customers by arranging shipping and reducing costs.
* Flawed Eco-Friendly Packaging: The company boasts about using recycled plastic for their shipping bags. However, shipping carriers like DHL refused to accept the parcel in this material, forcing me to buy and use a new box. This completely defeats the purpose of their supposed environmental efforts.
* Overpriced and Underwhelming Quality: The clothing is overpriced for what you get. The quality of the fabric and construction does not justify the price.
* Poor Sizing for Tall People: As a tall person, I found that the proportions of the clothing were completely off and did not work for my height.
Overall, a company that claims to be sustainable and environmentally conscious should have a more holistic approach to its business strategy, especially concerning the return process (shipping and packaging) for an e-commerce brand. It feels that all their investment lies in selling the product, but to keep people purchasing, there should be more investment in things that increase costumer satisfaction and the purchasing experience.

I am very unhappy and disappointed with my experience at ESTHE. Be smart, listen to the negative reviews, and DO NOT ORDER THERE!

Absolutely beautiful and truly unique clothes. Fast delivery. Among 4 items I ordered a green/blue top which is now my absolute favorite, and get complimented on it everywhere I go. I had to return 2 items and the return process was fairly smooth, as long as you read the instructions properly. A bit expensive (25 €) to make a return with UPS, but I don’t mind when I know I’ve supported a small European based company, that actually cares about recycling and the environment.

Ordered a skirt - it is stunning! I am usually size M, but ordered size L so the skirt would have more length. The design is beautiful and the delivery came quickly. However, I can not even close it in the waist! It is just SO SMALL! My waistline is completely normal so there is a huge discrepancy in the measurements of this skirt. Even XXL would not be fitting me around the waist and after reading reviews here of the return process, I am also hesitant to return it. Now stuck with a great looking skirt that fits perfectly everywhere else, except around the waist. Bummer!

The return process was swift and seamless. I returned some items that didn’t fit.I received clear instructions and the reimbursement to my account was processed immediately upon receipt of the return. Returns are not free and the customer needs to pay for them, but this is standard for many smaller companies which don’t have the means of the big online sale platforms. ESTHE is a good local company, supports EU manufacturing employing local seamstresses and sells cool clothing.

Bad Bad Bad! I received items that were clearly the wrong size / or wrongly produced. I had to pay for the return even though the return is not my fault but a mess up from their side. After speaking to the customer support they just sad they can't help me. Really bad customer service.

This company engages in fraudulent practices.

Order delivery is fast, but the service really bad.
I’m okay with paying return/shipping costs but the return address isn’t correct, or the company says it’s the fault of the carrier.

Instead of looking for a solution, I receive a standard response that makes no real effort to resolve the issue. This feels like fraud on your part. Despite multiple emails and messages via social media, no proper solution has been offered. Never for me an order here again. Be warned.

I ordered a shirt from Spain and it arrived very quickly. The packaging is very nice and the product is beautiful and of good quality.

Absolutely dreadful! Avoid at all costs! Jumper is shapeless and extremely poor quality. Won't accept returns from the UK and huge import taxes charged. I've wasted nearly £200 on an item that's unwearable. Esthe shouted be ashamed

I have received an item without original tag! I would like to return it but no answer for my request if it's normal that the item cam without original tag. Considering that the buyer needs to cover the cost of shipping when it comes to return I don't wanna risk that they won't accept the item. And besides, why without tag? Was it used my someone...?
One extra star for beautiful packing ans super quick shipping.

Clothes are of poor quality and to expensive the quality and material taken into account

First company in a long, long, long time where there are no return scheme.
So I have to pay min. 20 euros for returnering the goods.
So just a little under 10% of my totalt ordner. Bonkers.

If you still want to buy there the one thing I will say is they shipped the order pretty fast.

But maybe just rethink purchasing there

For a company that claims to be sustainable it is ridiculous they are going against EU directives and refusing refunds for customers in UK despite me offering to pay customs fee. Item I ordered was too big for me and when I asked to exchange or return item I was denied. Because of the nature of the item it can't be altered to my size and now will just end up being not used and eventually end up in a landfill. Definitely lesson learned and wouldn’t shop with them again.

False advertisement on their website claiming that if you "order in the next 4 hours on Sept 9, you will get your order by this Sept 11". So, in good faith, I ordered from Esthe, thinking I would get my order on the promised date on their website. Sept 11 came and went, and I did not receive anything, nor did they contact me. So I decided to contact their customer service on Sept 12, and if I hadn't contacted them, I would not have gotten an update. They responded and said they have a "zero-stock policy," which doesn't add up because if you placed an order on the 9th, you promised a customer they would receive it by the 11th, meaning you have items in stock. OK, so when they gave me the bad news that I would not get my order on time, I made peace with it and requested to please ship it after Sept 27 because no one would be available to receive it; what do they do?! They ship it anyway, and it would arrive at my house where no one will be there to accept it. It would get left on the porch to attract package thieves or burglars because the package is left unattended. Changing the delivery through UPS cost me an additional $30.00 to change the delivery date. ESTHE asked, "What can we do for you?" I said it would be nice if you could refund me the cost to change the delivery date because you ignored my request - know they will not accommodate such a request, nor are they sorry for their ignorance. The bottom line is that this "zero-stock" BS is their way of buying time because the garments come from unethical factories in China and are not "made in Europe" as they claim to be. FRAUDS! Buyers BEWARE!

I ordered a shirt and it took almost 6 weeks to arrive. The long delivery times should be stated on their website.

The design of the shirt was nice but the fabric (polyester) is not worth the price.

I ordered a denim top in my size *S*. They sent me something really small, what didnt fit on the back. I measured it and the circumference is only 65 centimetres, which corresponds to size "XS" according to international standart!! Apparently they have their own standarts or they just dont know how to sew.I sent them several emails, but haven"t recieved any respond.
After reading a ton of reviews thar they DO NOT refund money for returns, i decided to give the item to my niece..
It is all illegal and unacceptable!
Companies like this shouldnt exist!

En lisant les derniers avis, j'étais un peu inquiète à l'idée de commander chez eux. Je commande une blouse noire mardi 25/06/2024 au soir, je la reçois... jeudi 27/06 à 19H ! Livraison très rapide, donc agréablement surprise. La blouse est de bonne facture et exactement comme je l'espérais. Rien à redire pour ma part

I received my order 4 weeks later than expected and also didn't get a refund for my return in months (just like many other people report). ESTHE didn't answer to my emails in weeks and claimed that my return got lost from DHL and that I should try to get my money back from them. In my opinion there is something very wrong with this company and their customer service is extremely bad.

This is the biggest scam company ever, there’s no way to return something, they don’t answer emails, no return address on their website, they never replied to the countless submissions for my return, i will never ever buy from them and honestly i really hope people stop buying from such a company, it’s pure trash and dishonest behaviour.

Ordered 200 euros of clothes during the sales beginning of this year. DHL claimed that the package was delivered when I mever recieved it, and ESTHE customer services is barely responding to my email since end of January. Brend to avoid absolutely if you cannot be home to recieve your package.

Ich war erst sehr besorgt, wegen den miesen Bewertungen hier. Wegen den schönen Kleidungsstücken hab ich es aber dann doch gewagt und einfach bestellt. Ich hab mir die Maße und so auf der Website ganz genau angesehen und dementsprechend bestellt. Und was soll ich sagen? Alles prima!! Versand war superschnell (trotz Ostern und Feiertagen). Am 29.3. abends bestellt. Am 1. April wurde verschickt und am 2. April war das Paket schon da. Also besser gehts nicht!
Die Kleidungsstücke sind auch wie erwartet. Ich muss deswegen auch nix zurückschicken, weil alles prima ist. Aber deswegen kann ich zum Rücksendeprozess leider nichts sagen (und das scheint ja das Hauptproblem zu sein bei den negativen Bewertungen hier). Hier hats spannende und besondere Kleidungsstücke. Es hat sich für mich auf jeden Fall gelohnt und ich bestelle gerne wieder! Danke liebes ESTHE-Team!
