As an Anchor resident, all I can say is: Awful bunch of useless untrained clowns. This company is beyond a joke. They don't even respond to comments because they know how useless they are.

Absolute shambles off a company , never call you, you can never directly contact them , and say they have done jobs they haven't, that one star is a minus 1. Seriously never known a company like it.

Absolutely horrendous experience with this company !
I would rate no stars if I was able to we have had an absolute nightmare with this company. They ripped the flooring without any apology then the site manager came out and said just stick it back down which is completely unacceptable. After many complaints they finally said they would replace the flooring after having to chase them every day for over a month and still nothing has been done. There seems to be 0 communication between themselves and with us it is shocking we are ignored 90% of the time when we try to contact them. They then sent out after a few weeks one of their floor men who told us on 4 occasions they were coming so we took the time off work and he kept making last minute excuses then slagging off his site manager and blaming him then sending a rude txt message to me when I said this is unacceptable as we are missing work waiting for him to arrive and then he doesn’t. When he came back after us complaining to the site manager about it the same floor man decided to make a new tear in the middle of the flooring and when questioned started to scream and shout at me and my mother ( who to point out is classed as vulnerable after suffering alot of health problems ) so he was asked by me to leave which eventually he did after constantly shouting at us then accused my mother of lying saying the rip was already there after the other workers had already took responsibility for it and photos. After all this was explained by txt message and calls to management still no apology from Equans and to this day we are still chasing them daily about replacing the flooring they damaged and to this day it’s still not been resolved and we are mainly being ignored. I would never recommend these workers at all we have had a horrendous experience so far by these rude and disrespectful people when in my mothers home !
Absolute cowboys
Absolute cowboys. I own an ex council flat and, unfortunately, Equans have been chosen by the Lambeth Council to do capital works on my building. Apart from them overrunning on the project due to blatant mismanagement of resources (i.e. they repainted our banisters but then chipped them all while carrying new windows up the stairs and then had to repaint them...), communication was horrible. They were also supposed to fix the roof, but while they were working on it, leaks to mine and my neighbours skylights flooded our houses quite badly. They then lied and said they hadn't touched the roof yet but we have pictures of them on the roof the day before the floods...
The skylights they installed were done very badly, the wood wasn't painted or sanded properly and when they finally accepted to paint it (only because I complained), they were complaining because the space to paint them internally was too small for them. Still dealing with them for a few more weeks, unfortunately. DO NOT HIRE

Love my new kitchen 😍, was dreading it after reading some of these reviews but I found the bradford team to be very polite, the tradesmen removed shoes if needed the loo and cleaned as they went along.
The manager came and noticed a very rusty radiator and so got that replaced too, all work was left to a very good standard. Janice our liaison officer kept me fully informed of what work was happening and when. Was in all a plesent experience.

Had a worker Mark mcCainn come to my home. Thought it was ok to leave my front door open. When I asked to shut the door. He slammed it shut and slammed the stair gate and hurting my 8 week old puppy leg while slamming it. No apology. Absolutely disgusted that he thought it was ok to treat myself, my puppy and my home in this matter. Tried phone the company as I wanted this man out my house. He left as I told him to get out. Am fuming.

I live in a sheltered housing.the housing association decided to hire equans to put new bathrooms in all the flats here we were told beforehand that the total time to finish each flat would be 10 days.it is now half way into 3 weeks and my bathroom is nowhere near finished.the staff seem to spend a lot of time standing around smoking and drinking tea and coffee.i have gone over 2 weeks now with no bath or shower in my flat.i have severe c.o.p.d and if I want a shower I have to struggle up to the top floor to use the communal shower..if you want my recommendation then steer clear from this company

Stay well clear, no communication and very unproffesional, especially when trying to contact to speak with ‘liaison officers’ you contact the liaison officer and they say they will call back but never do, you end up chasing and don’t get a response, they just ignore you completely. Once you have spoken to someone, they say they will get someone to contact you but after this there is no communication, you are COMPLETELY IGNORED. Very unprofessional and untrustworthy.
I will name and shame as there is still no response, absolute scam! The so called ‘liaison officer’ Hayley Cox has no communication at all, I cannot comprehend how she is a liaison officer with no education, no matter how many emails I have sent or called she never responds to you or answers your calls. These people need urgent investigation. They choose to ignore you and only get in contact when they feel like it. How are they still operating?!
Next step Ombudsman, luckily I have all the emails and calls saved, absolute scammers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This company are absolutely dire repairs for bham City Council. 3months still waiting for repair to leaking roof. There roofers turned up to day to do job . Sorry they have put the wrong scaffolding up haha . How much did that cock up cost. There not bothered about water ruining my interior and personnel belongings. What is wrong with bham city councils . Employing these scum bags who are obviously ripping them off and robbing the tax payers 💰. Shame on you.

One of the worst contractors I have come across.
I am a L&Q tenant for over 12 years and I have never seen such a poor job. The kitchen plan was redone twice, with months waiting for an appointment and i understood (covid19) had impacted delays. On the first appointment to start the kitchen renewal, I packed up my kitchen putting everything in the front room finally the job would begin. On the first appointment to rip the kitchen bare the plan was wrong again for the third time and had to be redone which left me disheartened. I showed understanding as these things happen and what could I do. It took weeks to get any date as to when they would be returning or if the plan was redone. After calling numerous times and contacting my housing they fitted me in which I was grateful for, as I was told they would have to put it back to next year possibly. I was not prepared for the troubles that followed. When the project started I wasn't given much notice they just would come and go as they pleased and sometimes didn't even attend. My washing machine cord was put in a bag, so I assumed it was drained out, but it wasn't. This damaged my flooring as the next day I found water all over. There was not clean up of dust, but just swept through the house so I just offered to do it myself. The makeshift sink pipping leaked through my neighbours kitchen ceiling. I actually went down in my neighbours flat and they had a bucket collecting water. I was left with no cooking facilities for more days than I should of and made a complaint as I could not cook for myself or my 4 year old child. I faced issues of no communication without constant chasing, carelessly dragging and banging equipment through the house, which caused materials to have to be replaced. They left mess everywhere, showed a total lack of respect for the home I live in. You couldn't even ask a question without having to go through multiple people. The company is unprofessional and untrustworthy with the one staff member that is used to call customer. This man intimidate, insults and shows zero compassion.
As a balanced person i will say 2 staff members did do their best to help and i am very thankful they where part of this organisation. My mental health was effected, the dust left me with with an allergic reaction where I could hardly see, my face was swollen all over. I couldn't even finish my University assignments it was a horrible experience. It took months to finish and i understood that materials could of been delayed but they make untrue statements continuously and that wasn't even the case in the end.
I believe a lot of distress has been caused to tenants/ customers and I could see the staff was so under presser it was sad on both sides.
Today i have unfinished work, scratches on area of the new worktop, dent on cupboards, scratches on drawers, walls with bubbles all over, drawers secured with white sealant instead of screws, materials still left at the property and they can't be fair enough to put things right.
All the comments from other reviews have some similarities to my experience and its sad to see.

L&Q contracted equans to refit my kitchen and bathroom it was a nightmare the work is substandard and bodged the unqualified electrian left us with sockets hanging of the wall one socket was not wired properly and the new fuse board was dangerous and not marked properly the downstairs sockets was marked under boiler the worktops were chipped and not square as was the end panels the plastering was atrocious they left mess everywhere not one workman had I.d or a hi vis the damaged my cooker and had a total lack of respect for my home they left us with no heating or hot water for 2 days and no lights downstairs overnight I will never let another equans worker in my home again what I've wrote is only a little bit of the horror caused by equans
Horrible and unrealiable
Horrible company! 2 months delay and counting, absolutely no communication without constant chasing, and even then the promises for at least an update on the situation are not kept. During the works that have been done, the workers caused extensive damage to the walls and floors by carelessly dragging and banging equipment through the house. Avoid if at all possible, but unfortunately they seem to be contracted by too many councils
Appalling Company
Appalling Company, zero customer service and sales team who distort the truth, they delayed our new house build by over 12 months by their incompetence, we lost 2 sales on our home and then when our Buyers, buyer ran into a delay they gave us 2 months grace, we then needed another 2 days and they sold the house from under us, sold it on the 1st November, we could have completed on the 2nd November but they wouldn't wait and that is because it was re-sold for £14,000 (when the sales team informed our estate agent that it had been sold for the same price another untruth ) more than we were buying it for, wrote to the CEO who passed it to a Director who was then told a whole load of untruths about the whole process by the sales team, said that they informed us in October it was being re-sold, which was untrue we found out from social media that our house was being re-marketed. We were offered a discount on another property, we did not want to buy on the same site as seeing the house we should have had every day would have been too much, we did look at another site but they could not offer us anything that was not way, way over our budget which we told them at the beginning, so here we are in the unenviable position of losing a buyer on our house and starting the whole process all over again and losing over a thousand pound on solicitors etc, which we paid for to try and get the whole process moving quicker given the deadline we were given.
