Good day,
Shoes is of a bad quality, can't get it on without a zip on the side. The fabric the shoes is made of is of very poor quality also.
I want to return purchase and be refunded. ☹️
Emmeline's answered me by saying open the zip, while there is no zip to open! 😅
I had to take shoes to a repair shop to redo all the stitching where possible on shoes.
Their service to many people's reviews (and mine) are less than one star. 😡

Top sewn incorrectly and has a bubble down the front. It cannot be worn. A wasted R500

Do not order from this site!!
I placed an order and paid for a dress on 10 Feb., for R828.
By 10 March, I enquired about my order as it still was not delivered and I received NO communication from the company.
The owner came back to me, saying the dress was out of stock and he will refund me.
I send my banking details immediately.
By 27 March, there was still no refund.
I enquired again, to which he responded that he was processing the refund...
Now, 10 April, I still have not received my dress or refund and are not being answered to my mails.
Stay away. This is not a safe buying platform.

Edit: Since placing this review, the owner finally came back to me.
He said he will not do any refunds unless I delete my review.
I don't do well with bully tactics.
He blocked me from the Facebook site as well.
My advice...stay clear...

I placed this review 10April. Owner says on his reply he had no opportunity to assist…
I gave him my banking detail 10March.
He had a full month to do the right thing, before I complained.
I still haven’t received a refund. Not planning to remove my review as per his demand, so I probably never will.
Just like I will never be ordering from Emmeline’s ever again!
Do not waste your hard earned money here.

The wait is a bit long but appreciated the attention to detail - every item was packaged separately. Will definitely purchase again.

The company takes FOREVER with delivery and not enough feedback of the delivery and where the status of the delivery lies

No feedback on the status of the order. I sent numerous emails without reply. Unsettling customer service.

Not happy with my first experience with this company.
I have waited over a month for my items only to receive one short. During this period I continuously had to ask for updates. After I logged the shortage I also had to ask for update, only to receive the followong message from the owner:

Im refunding it. Seems to be a stock error. For each stroppy email i get and you send allot ill take a day longer. Calm down.

Still no refund..... poorest service ever!

Shocking experience from beginning to end! The lack of communication followed by endless excuses is the reason I will never order from Emmeline’s again. Pity because the clothes they offer are lovely…

Dismal customer service!! I will never order anything from this retailer ever again! Horrible quality clothing and disgusting, rude treatment from the owner.

I waited longer than the stipulated delivery time and therefore had to purchase another outfit as a back up as I needed it for a function. The item arrived and was too big. I notified them the day after I received the item and requested to return it. I didn't get any response until my 3rd email at which point it was implied that they suspected I had worn the item as I had mentioned I needed it for a function when following up on why delivery was taking so long, and now it was being sent back. I assured him/her the item hadn't been worn and noted that I had contacted them the day after receiving the item.

I expressed that I was dissapointed with the customer service and would have like the issue to have been dealt with more professionally - I wasn't even offered an exchange for a smaller size or different product. After a number of rude responses back I was told he/she would not be prepared to take the item back and told me to open a case with the CPA.

Disgusting! Poor quality clothing and even worse service. If I could give a zero star rating I would.

Beautiful dresses, decent material. I love the experience. Courier took a bit longer than I expected but I love the items. Perfect fit as well
