Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend ordering from this site. I requested to cancel my order on the same day it was placed. They initially agreed to cancel it with a fee, which I accepted, but later refused, shipped the order anyway, and declined to provide a refund.

Placed an order, but have not received delivery. Also no response to follow up emails

I placed my order on 26th Jan and to date have still not received my order( 28 March). Despite being a repeat customer, the lack of professionalism is shocking. The owner is rude and does not bother to respond to multiple follow-ups - they are in clear violation of the CPA regarding delivery timeframes. It is disappointing to see a local Gauteng business treat customers this way. I have initiated a formal legal process and a bank dispute. Do not buy from Emmeline's Fashion unless you want to spend your time fighting for a refund.

I purchased 2 dresses 8 February still did not receive it, when I asked them for a refund as per their policy if you do not receive your package in 30 days you will get a refund, they told me no refund will be done.

Now I'm emailing and chat on WhatsApp and no reply R 1,465.20 was paid in full and now they refuse to refund me and they do not deliver my items.

I have ordered items on the 15th of February and still waiting. I have sent two emails and a message with zero response.

I have ordered one item on the 26th February it is now 20 March - no Delivery!!! Numerous emails were sent and no response... Bad!

I ordered one item on the 14th of January and received it on the 4th of March. I asked Francois about updates on five separate occasions and he only you responded once. On the 13th of February he told me that the delivery would be done that week and I only received it on the 4th of March. I had to enquire on their Instagram page, email, and website to get their attention. If you’re looking for a place with good customer service don’t come here. If you’re okay with waiting two months for a package then perhaps this is worth the order. I understand that they have long lead times in terms of delivery, but they need to improve their customer service to keep customers up-to-date on what’s happening.

I ordered a swimming costume on 11 January 2026 and nothing has been delivered. On my order it was stated delivery within 12 to 17 Business Days. I have emailed requesting a refund as it is now 29 working days, but had no response. It appears you need to put a complaint on Trustpilot to get a response, which is disappointing. If I do not receive a response to my emails by the end of this week, I will also be contacting my Credit Card's Fraud Division.

What a horrible experience. I believe they are a scam. It's been 5 weeks since order and there has not been a delivery or even a tracking number.

The person on their social media is close to one of the rudest people alive. The way at which they respond to clients are shocking.

Refuse to assist or even give any concrete information as to when a delivery will take place.

Comments like..."I have responded 2 times sending it the second im able to we lost nearly 3 weeks due to holidays in between"

And when asked for detail things like "I have explained".

Nothing received yet and I think my money is stolen through this.

NO stars for Emmeline's Fashion. Ordered 2 different tops - white in a size small and pink in a size medium. This was ordered according to the Style Guide. When my parcel arrived the Pink top was very big and I immediately requested a refund. I was advised that there are NO refunds, only credits allowed. I chose an item of clothing in exchange for the top which was too big. Then I was accused of ordering two items so that I could return the one and that for this reason, there will be no exchange or credit. Francois (Owner) further commented that I was sneaky and nasty and that should I take this matter further, he will fight me in court. Seriously? I wish I had read all the reviews before purchasing from Emmeline's Fashion. STAY AWAY!!!

I would give zero stars. Low quality clothing clearly sourced from shein or temu and marked up. When I asked to return, was told no. This is illegal in SA. Then Lisa proceeded to block me without any resolution. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I wish I'd read others bad reviews before shopping with them and I will be reporting them to the NCC

Be very carefull before ordering. Saw the same slippers on Temu aswell for much cheaper!!😄😄😄. I am awaiting an exchange now for more than a month and a half no help on mail or whatsup. Lisa is not very helpfull aswell and very rude.

After a month waiting for my order, the incorrect size was delivered. When I queried this, I was told 'Hi please ignore that label its a US lavel it fits a uk16 100% for sure. We state uk size since that the norm.'

I replied to say that it doesn't fit and I would like to return for a refund. I received no reply and sent another request for a refund and again no reply.

I now have a trousers doesn't fit as the incorrect size was delivered and no response is given to my requests for a refund.

Will definitely not be buying from them again and will mention this to others to avoid them going through the same thing.

Delivery of good takes extremely long

I experienced significant delays with my recent order, which took over six weeks to arrive. Upon receiving the dress, I found that its quality was comparable to items available from budget retailers like Shein or Temu. Additionally, I encountered unprofessional behavior from the owner, which further contributed to my dissatisfaction. I would not recommend this business based on my experience.

I did not receive my complete order.
No feedback from Emmelines despite request.

STILL WAITING FOR PARTIAL ORDER FROM MAY NOT RECEIVED !!!!! NO COMMUNICATION UNLESS I QUERY !!!

I have ordered on the 9th of June 2025 on the 3rd of July I enquired about my package via email then a very rude owner just replied with coz it's still on it's way on the 17th I send an email again all of a sudden my package got stolen at customs I asked to get my money back ever since he or she hasn't replied to my emails again I will never order from them again or recommend them to anyone all of us work hard for your money then you get businesses like this who wants to exploid you by far this was and is the most disgusting service I've ever received

We did receive our product but delivery time one and a half months. Thats to long!!!!
