Love the machine. Drinkmate lost a star because of their choice of YODEL for handle their return of cylinders. Yodel's website store locator didn't work and their website tracking is awful.

Was offered a discount for 1st order then drinkmate says its not valid customer service is rubbish why offer a 10% discount for 1st orders then say its not valid all I got from customer service was its already on offer but that's got nothing to do with 1st order so be careful they can't be trusted in answer to your reply when I put the code in it said not valid. you say as it was on offer at the time terms and conditions removed the 1st time offer as I was a 1st time buyer I still think that was wrong, your response confirms to me that I would be better of buying from another company ie sage no offer was offered with sage so did not feel cheated when it doesn't work my advice to you if you don't want to honor an offer then don't offer it

Short changed on my order. #UK12978. Only half of paid-for items delivered. No response to email queries and UK phone number “not available” Very poor customer service - be wary!

Several times after returning the cylinders to a Yodel drop off point - which in its own right is such a faff (especially now i've found another company that picks up from your house) - Drinkmate continues to tell me I haven't returned the cylinders. So in effect, they've told me i've lied and at the same time stolen from me as the cylinders were returned. Steer clear and find another option!!

Sodastream is better

I put a lot of value in companies that deal properly when things go wrong. Drinkmate were very good to me when that time came.

I have a Drinkmate OmniFizz. I ordered some extra bottles. The expiry date was within a year of purchase (expiring much sooner than the bottle that actually came with the OmniFizz), which was annoying to say the least.

I emailed to complain and ask for resolution. Without going into specifics, they customer service was fast and extremely helpful. In the end, I didn't get the resolution I was after (bottles that have a much better expiry date) but they did give a very good alternative solution so I was very happy with them overall.

Not many companies I've dealt with have been so easy to deal with so thanks to whomever at Drinkmate helped me out.

I keep 5 CO2 bottles so that I always have one full one when I’m exchanging 4 empties. However this latest time I returned bottles it took 5 days to be issued the return coupon (which I had to chase them for) and the order processing and shipping now takes another 6 days.
I think they need to change the way this services works to reduce replacement time.

Addendum: The CO2 was delivered in 4 days (including the weekend), and not as per DHLs shipping notification.

I still feel that there is room for improvement on the CO2 exchange system so that reorders can be processed with returns.

I like the product but it sells for 79 UK pounds. In ireland where I was based it cost nearly 120 euro, and where I ended up buying it was 89 dollars.

It is a better mousetrap, but until they streamline their prices, and stop playing the FX game, people will go to sodastream which is cheaper.
