If I could give 0 stars, I would. Ordered my glasses on the 17th September 2026, with an expected delivery of the 25th to 30th Sept. It's now the 12th of October, and my order has now gone backwards in the online process. I have sent 4 messages, and Emily (from Customer Service) has fobbed me off every time, saying that they had a new computer system which has caused some problems and they will be done in the next couple of days. I thought that ordering from a UK company would be better than someone who produces overseas, but no, they are worse! Avoid this company at all costs, as I now believe I have been scammed. I have asked for a refund but it has not been forthcoming.

I didn't receive my original order, the company very quickly sent a replacement.

Company didn't deliver the product ordered. No response to any queries regarding non-delivery. No response on website form, email, phone, web chat. Finally order cancelled, still awaiting refund. Avoid!

I placed an order for standard lense reading glasses on 20th September. Here we are on 12th October and apparently my glasses are still "in the lab" This is unacceptable and had i known it would take this long i would never have placed my order. I have contacted the company and i got a reply saying that because my specs had large lenses it was taking longer. Utter rubbish. I won't b using them again.

My order is still 'in the lab' after 19 days and counting and It's only a pair of single vision reading glasses! Not at all happy. It's a good job I'm not needing them for work or driving.
I emailed them a few days ago and she apologised and said she would give the lab a nudge but still no movement.

My next day delivery before 1pm was finally delivered today, 4 days late and after 1pm. I needed an emergency pair of glasses for driving having broken mine.
Customer service was rather poor when I finally managed to make contact. The glasses itself are fine. Nothing special. A little wonky it seems, but v cheap I had low expectations. I just need to be able to drive. Wishing I read reviews beforehand.

Placed order a week ago, I get I didnt pay for next day dispatch but a week later it still says "in the lab", two other steps before they dispatch is a bit steep. If they can dispatch ne,t day I find it very bad customer service to keep it this long. Will def not be a returning customer.

Reached out to customer support after the date and they said part of the order was delayed. I asked if they could ship what they had so far as I had a trip that I couldn’t go to without them. They said they would ship the pair of glasses they had ready that same day.

Reached out to them again five days later and they said nothing was shipped after all (without even telling me they wouldn’t fulfill their promise) and that maybe the order will go out in Tuesday.

Won’t be using their services again.

Sent my order on the 15 September delivery date between the 24th & the 29th still not arrived how people have praised them up I don’t know I’m not happy

Absolutely awful i ordered my glasses over 3 weeks ago for next day delivery only to keep getting told they will be sent tomorrow and guess what I'm still waiting dont bother guys pay little extra for a company that actually will send your glasses out

Wanted some light weight lenses and glasses with quick delivery as didn't want to wait a couple of weeks. Ordered using my prescription with express delivery arrived on-time, perfect, really pleased. And half the price of shop. Recommend *

Wish I had read reviews before I ordered! It’s been a week (paid for next day delivery) with no updates on my glasses - have emailed daily with responses of will be dispatched in next 24hours repeatedly which obviously hasn’t happened. Really disappointed

After waiting 4 weeks for glasses I asked to cancel order. Very quick response advising order cancelled. Hopefully I will receive refund soon. No idea what the issue was as no correspondence from company untill I emailed them.

Disgusting customer service.
Placed an order 3rd October payed for next day express and then delivery by 1pm I understand I placed order on a weekend by the Monday no update no shipping info was given they claim to have refunded me the 9.95 for the express shipping but haven’t had it bakc into my account yet. Have contacted them several times with the same answer off oh it’s been delayed if I don’t get a response or glasses

Fraudulent charge as it seems to be nothing more than a scam. I’ve called several times and just been left on hold I have used the live chat and have got no response poor company and customer service

This company promises the world and delivers nothing. I paid significantly extra for quick delivery and production, but they were unable to fulfill this. Looking at other reviews on here, it seems to be a theme. Why offer a service if you are unable to deliver it? When I tried to contact them by email to cancel my order, there was no reply. I then phoned and held for over 30 minutes, before they ended to call on me. I'd avoid this company if you can.

If you need your glasses in a hurry do not order from here. They can’t commit to the delivery time at all, I paid the £10 for next day delivery. So far I’ve been given a delivery dates and have still not received my glasses, I emailed explaining mine broke I only ordered from here as I’m desperate to get glasses quickly to be able to see and drive to work. They don’t care at all. I still have no glasses and I’m still unable to drive to work, now they’re just basically telling me to cancel with them knowing they can’t provide the glasses. I’ll definitely be sticking to specsavers at least I know I won’t be scammed.

Had to be reordered as glasses never delivered… frames poor quality and the varifocal part of the lense is incredibly narrow and difficult to use with a laptop/computer

It seems the general trend here is that directsight DO NOT meet any expectations promised on their site. I ordered a pair of glasses next day delivery. This was almost two weeks ago. The little response I’ve received twice stated that there was a delay and that it would be dispatched within 24-48hours. Twice that’s been promised and twice no communication. Still no glasses and now they’ve stopped responding. Avoid.

Order a pair of single vision glasses on 14/09/26. Still not shipped on 15/10/26 because "Sorry, your order is taking a little longer than we'd like.". No explanation or communication from company has been received.
