I redirected my parcel before it even landed in NZ to their collection point, then they proceed to hand it over to third party delivery company, why give this option if you guys are just going to ignore it???

I had a outrageous experience with DHL. If you send any expensive product in the courier that’s it. It is a chance for them to get greedy and they start bargaining with you for the product you want it delivered. I have been asked three times the price of the product as customs charges and if you don’t pay it’s their product. You can’t even get product to origin country. And their customer service is the worst part to handle ( the worst customer service experience I ever had.)

Customs released my parcels 10 days ago, but because DHL change tracking number when it arrives in NZ, which sounds ridiculous, they are holding my parcels until customs amends release document until they change document to new tracking number. They have agreed the parcels are mine and all duties have been paid, but refuse to release of my parcels.
What an utterly crap outfit. I'm trying to run my business and this is holding my production up. I don't care about star ratings, they get an F.

My supplier in Australia recommend DHL as he told me they are reliable. They are not reliable, they dalayed the delivery and contracted courier post to get the items delivered and until now items didn't arrive yet.
Really bad service
Really bad service. Email says arriving 5 pm, but they came the day before delivery day and attempted delivery in the morning. The website had no options for us and had to ring and talk to the operator for organising time next day after 10am. However, the person said not guaranteed although she would note it for me. Then, should I stay home all day for the parcel?

ABSOLUTELY TRASH!! Coming up on 2 months now that i've been waiting for my parcel to be delivered and STILL getting mucked around by being told it's still in the clearance process! Given all the info that customs needed weeks ago only to then be told customs wants to inspect it visually? That was last week. 2 weeks gone by and i'm getting no reply to my emails and still no updates to the tracking system. Can't even count the amount of times i've called up. The customer service people seem pretty helpful but then their probably just told to play along and act like their doing something to help but really doing FA.

Pallet came with boxes missing and ripped open, a long painful wait for the so called claim process with the usual "We Will update you" then You get some dude from dhl hk looking after* your inquiry,
As far as shipping job goes if customer paid for x amount of box to be delivered then any missing discrepancies should be compensated.
DHL seems to tolerate theft and complacency of staff so I recommend readers to look for alternative shippers instead.

Parcel is well past due date have been calling as the last update was that my parcel is sitting in Auckland customs each time I call customer service picks a mystery location for my parcell but assures me its not in Auckland as was checked off on the tracking? Been 2 weeks now not sure where im at with this still.
Untruthful about attempts to deliver packages
Anyone else notice every time DHL have a package for you, they notify you they 'tried to deliver package and no one was home' yet they haven't even been near your property? They seem wholly unconcerned by this practice.

I used to think DHL Express was great but the last two deliveries have gone to incorrect addresses. First was my neighbours house, second was an old delivery address which I had updated online at DHL but apparently their system didn’t pick up because the parcel was not yet in the country? Worse, the people I spoke with at customer service didn’t accept any responsibility. A simple
“We’re really sorry” would have gone a long way!
Worst Experience
Worst ! wish there was an option of selecting 0 star. Incorrect information, incompetent customer support, incorrect status update, poor communcation and painful delays is what i experienced with an urgent parcel.
There were 4 people inside the house when a note was slided through the door for not being able to complete a successful delivery. I changed the address for convinience and to avoid possible delays and incorrect information was delivered on the phone regarding future shipping date. Another phone call conversation next day confirmed the parcel will be delivered the next day. Didn’t happen! instead, the follwing day i get a text with the original address and this time i was adviced the system never updated and there will be further delays.
Never ever going to use DHL again and would strongly recommend anyone not use them specially when you have something precious/ urgent on its way.

Worst service Ever
My package has been held for a month now. And it seems nobody cares about it. After MANY emails and phone calls, everytime the package is close to been released, there is another matter that blocks it. The person handling it wants to charge us, or decide to destroy the package without consulting me. I have manage to save it by calling MPI directly, but now they have found another problem.... I don't think we will ever see this package...Hopefully we will get reimbursed.

I received an email today with photo showing my parcel had arrived and as I looked at the picture it ain’t my house. Called them straight away to let them know and to have it tracked or get the driver who said he placed it at the right address what a big fat liar. I was so frustrated annoyed at customer service there was still time for them to get their driver who made the drop off go back to the house and pick it up and actually deliver it to my right address. I really don’t understand how can they deliver at a wrong address when it’s printed clearly and to be asked to check my next door neighbors like what the heck...none of my neighbors had a parcel delivered. They can’t do anything until tomorrow at 9.30am. DHL you suck

The most appalling courier experience imaginable.
We tried to send bee pollen and honey to my mother-in-law to the Czech Republic. Something we've often done in the past without any problems. We sent it via a registered bee products exporter to ensure it would get there (parcel cost $200NZ, courier $60). Despite addressing the item to the recipient's house, they advised it could only be collected from a town that is a 15 minute train ride away. They bothered my mother-in-law with so many calls it became distressing to her. In the end we had to cancel the delivery. They advised charging $500 to return the parcel or have it destroyed, which is what happened. WILL NEVER EVER USE DHL AGAIN!!!

Appalling service from DHL Australia to NZ. One parcel sat THREE WEEKS in Sydney and when they finally got moving it sat in Auckland for a week and there’s still no sign of it moving. Another parcel from Apple who use DHL express is now two days overdue and is still sitting in Auckland after clearing customs 5 days ago. Tried complaining about a slow delivery last year and they told me they had five working days to get a parcel from Auckland to Central Otago so that’s what they took. Most couriers do it in two, some even overnight !! I’m going to stop buying off on-line shops that use them !!

The most Incompetent Courier service Dalsey Hillblom Lynn. This is my first and last time using DHL New Zealand. The customer service is too Prompt with their emails just like their delivery service more than a week late after the estimated date of delivery no answers to any of my questions and surprisingly DHL made a world record with my package it was in air for 48 hours no one knows what is going on and where the package is even after this review if you feel like using their services please go ahead and get the 1st hand experience of these wonderful services I'm sure they won't disappoint just keep in mind give them all the time in the world and donot believe in the estimated date of delivery at least give them a week or two after that date.
