I had my package delivered from Karachi to Auckland. Looks like the parcel travelled the world, well almost! Karachi to Hong Kong to Dubai to NZ, haha!!! But it was successfully delivered to my address within a week of being dispatched. There was a slight dent on the box but the goods weren't damaged. Thanks DHL

Appalling Point-Of-Delivery Service
I have had a number of parcels delivered by this company over the past few weeks. Without fail, the driver has simply crammed the parcel - whether it actually fits or not! - into the mailbox at the end of the drive, and despite the fact that I have been home every time to receive the parcels. One of the parcels ended up with a torn envelope and damage to clothing inside because it was way too big for the mailbox.
God forbid that he should have to actually get his lazy ass out of the vehicle to bring the parcel to the door. Yet another shining example of the abysmal point-of-delivery service couriers have sunk to over the past few years.
Of the six couriers that service our area (Frimley, Hastings), DHL is at the bottom of my list, even below Courier Post who are notorious for their appalling service.
Shame on you DHL.

Twice I filed forms and two diffrent staff failed to lodge them. Been there a week sitting in limbo stopping business from trading. Now what can I do I even complained and never got an answer.

I sent skydiving equipment express delivery at 300 dollars. One month later I'm still fighting with them over an MSDS that doesn't exist for this item. I sent them all documents over and over again. Email links to experts but still it was over there head. It like speaking to children. A skydiving rig is something we jump out of planes with every day so why would it be a dangerous item. They are total knob jockeys. Frustration is not even good enough if how I feel. No star review here. DHL are the biggest joke for a logistical company.
DHL NZ and Courierpost/NZpost staff…
DHL NZ and Courierpost/NZpost staff stole my parcel.
Total 9 parcels, only received 8 of them, one of them had its tracking until reached NZpost/Courierpost depot. It disappeared for ever from there.
Took me almost 3 months to receive my compensation from sender.
DHL never helped, told me it's stolen and that's it.
Would not recommend DHL if you have other choices.
Parcel delivered to wrong address
My parcel was very sensitive and expensive and they delivered to a wrong address. I call them and mentioned I would like to talk to their managers and place a complaint and they did not let me to do that. It's a frustrating, disgusting and unprofessional company. Stay way from these guys.
No contact at all upon delivery
No contact at all upon delivery and then just say recipient not home, although we are always at home, there always be at least a person at home. They dont even attempt to contact customer to deliver, if they cannot access the building, they dont call up the unit, they just say recipient not home. After 2 times they refuse to deliver because they have attempted twice, this is not professional at all, not recommended. should be 0 star.

Hit and Miss. Sometimes they do a great job and are quite prompt, others not so much. Guess it depends who is on duty?

I feel the need to write a review as usually people only write bad reviews. DHL picked up my order on 30th April from the UK and I received it today (11th May) in Auckland. Although it is late for an express shipping, I am still really happy with how quick their service is considering the Covid-19 pandemic.

Received 6 packages in total over the last few weeks from Australia to New Zealand. All arrived promptly within a few days of ordering undamaged. I can not thank the guys from DHL enough for their friendliness and speediness during Covid-19. They have and do an amazing job and deserve recognition.
Unreliable customer service and lazy van drivers
Very poor service.The customer service is useless.They will tell you that they will try to contact the driver, end up telling you that they cannot contact the driver.Very useless people.If I can rate it as a 0 star I will if the application allows.The money you pay for delivery is not worth it for the service that they provide.
Unfortunately I cannot control who my supplier use to freight products to me but DHL are by far the most incompetent freight company in New Zealand. ALL the hardwork and effort done by my supplier was put to waste by this irresponsible courier (DHL). Put it this way my parcel came from UK but routed via 2 countries (USA and Australia) to New Zeland in couple of days, due to Covid situation. Good job. However, the parcel has been stuck at the drivers van in Auckland for the whole day.Amazing kind of van drivers here at DHL Auckland such a lazy moron.Then 5 customer service people tried to contact their van drivers and they keep saying because of the COVID situation maybe the driver is late.From 0800 am to 1830 hours still no sign of it. Now, I understand that the van drivers are more busy because of Covid compared to us working in ICU Hospitals.DHL why you hire this kind of people.For goodness sake if you care for your company please hire proper people to work in and worthy of the money we pay.Not this kind of unreliable driver's and customer service people.Just imagine that you cannot contact your van drivers.So, what's the next step if there is emergency situations.🤭🤔

Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. The driver arrived to pick up my shipment and then just left, without even contacting me. Now he's not coming back today to pick up my documents. I phoned customer service, but they weren't any help at all. I need these documents to be delivered asap.

DHL’s delivery and customer service is poor and kind of frustrating. Making us waste our time waiting for the parcel to come through and yet it wasn’t. It would be best if next time before you conclude that it wasn’t the right address or if you are unsure of anything, RING THE RECEIVER. That’s why we have our contact numbers there, i suppose thats one of the purpose of it.

It's unfortunate I can't give a lower rating than 1. Unfortunately we can't always control who our suppliers use to freight products to us but DHL are by far the most incompetent freight company we have every used. Put it this way a recent parcel from Italy was routed via 4 countries to us in three days. Good job. However, the parcel has been stuck at DHL in Auckland now for an further 5 days and still no sign of it. The customs team at DHL are also incompetent, they apply charges that simply aren't applicable. Please check your charges carefully. I really think whoever is running DHL NZ should be looking to retire.
