I’ve been a Desio customer for many years, which is exactly why I’m writing this review. I remember when Desio felt like a brand that was genuinely ahead of the market. Unfortunately, that is no longer how I feel about the brand today. At the end of last year, customers were told to look forward to something new in 2026. It is now almost September and there is still no new collection, no new shades and not even a meaningful indication of what is actually coming. At some point, this becomes more than just waiting for a new product. It makes you wonder whether there is actually any real development happening behind the scenes. Meanwhile, we continue to see the same established colours, products and content being promoted again and again while the rest of the market has moved forward. And honestly, that is incredibly disappointing for a brand that once felt so innovative.

I also have to talk about the actual lenses, because my experience with the quality and comfort has changed over the years. I have personally had Desio lenses break repeatedly, but that is not the only issue. I have also experienced lenses that were extremely uncomfortable to wear, causing burning, redness, pressure and irritation, and that heavy, tired-eye feeling where you just want to take them out as soon as possible. So when customers raise concerns that the quality or comfort no longer feels the same and the response is simply that nothing has changed because the same strict quality procedures are still being followed, that doesn’t really address the customer experience. Maybe the internal process hasn’t changed, but my experience as a customer clearly has. A premium lens should not only look good; it should also be comfortable to wear. And then there is the price. The Buy 2 Get 2 Free promotions seem to have disappeared, while the free-shipping threshold has increased from €89 to €199. At the same time, prices are still positioned at the premium end of the market. I can accept paying more for a genuinely premium product, but then the quality, comfort, design and overall customer experience need to justify that price. When I have personally experienced lenses breaking or being uncomfortable to wear, it becomes increasingly difficult to understand what exactly I am paying the premium for. I have also compared Desio lenses with other brands several times, and there are now so many companies offering more modern, dimensional and interesting designs, often for less money. Some have also given me a better experience in terms of comfort and quality. And when Desio continues to emphasise “natural-looking” lenses, I honestly have to question that too, because personally I find many of the current designs anything but natural-looking.

And then there is the marketing, which I honestly find one of the most disappointing parts. Desio has such a strong history and such a recognisable brand, yet the marketing increasingly feels like it belongs to another era. Just look at Instagram: the way the platform is used, the content, the graphics, the way products are presented and the lack of experimentation with creators, collaborations, new formats or community involvement. It often feels like the brand is still using a marketing playbook from 10 or 15 years ago. Meanwhile, other brands are creating excitement around their products, working with creators, involving their communities and actually asking customers what they want. They are giving people a reason to look forward to the next launch. With Desio, I increasingly feel like the existing brand is simply being maintained rather than actively developed. That is what I find most frustrating. It is not just the lack of one new collection. It is the feeling that the products, the marketing and the overall brand strategy have stopped moving forward. I’m still a customer because I’ve been buying Desio for so many years and I have supported the brand for a long time. But loyalty cannot be the only reason someone continues buying from a premium brand. At some point, the brand itself has to give customers a reason to stay. Desio used to be a brand that others looked to for inspiration. I would genuinely like to see that Desio again. But right now, I honestly feel like the market has moved forward while Desio is still looking backwards.

Inoltre l’assistenza clienti è impeccabile, sempre pronti a rispondere e a venire incontro al cliente nel miglior modo possibile. Consiglio a tutti.

Ho provato queste lentine colorate e mi sono trovata davvero bene. Ho scelto il colore Delicious Honey ed è esattamente come lo cercavo: naturale, luminoso e capace di valorizzare lo sguardo senza risultare eccessivo. Sono molto comode da indossare, non mi hanno dato fastidio durante la giornata e anche dopo diverse ore le ho sentite confortevoli. Sicuramente le ricomprerei e le consiglio a chi cerca un buon compromesso tra estetica e comfort.

Je suis une fidèle cliente depuis plusieurs années maintenant.
Mais récemment j’ai eu un soucis avec les wild green qui n'était pas de la même couleur, une était plus bleuté.
J’ai contacter le sav qui à était très réactif, on m’a renvoyé une autre paire qui malheureusement avait le même problème.
Je pense qu’il y a un lot défectueux en correction -3.75 . Dommage.

Charming Green is from the 3 tone collection which means it has 3 tones. From what I can see the colors are Honey around pupil hole, green in the iris area and a sort of blue/aqua blue around the limbal ring. My only suggestion would be to darken the limbal ring - It is so light it is barely noticeable. In my opinion a darker limbal ring makes it more realistic and it looks better, it makes the inner colors really pop.
I am in Florida USA and shipping was only 4 days from Italy.

I am absolutely SHOCKED and appalled by the response I received from Desio. I have been a loyal customer in Germany for years. Despite receiving mismatched, defective lenses in my last two orders (November and February), I chose to overlook the issue out of loyalty and placed a NEW BOGO for my upcoming travel on April 10th. I paid the full amount, expecting professional support.
Instead, I was met with an incredibly RUDE and disrespectful response from Supervisor MARIO. He cancelled my order and BANNED me from future purchases just because I pointed out their manufacturing defects. This is a total violation of EU Consumer Law!
It is disgraceful to treat a customer who stayed loyal despite your mistakes with such lack of respect. I have clear photographic evidence of the defective lenses. I now demand a full refund for my November and February orders. Avoid this brand if you don't want to be insulted for asking for the quality you paid for. update: Update March 24: Desio is LYING to cover their manufacturing defects. I have PHYSICAL PROOF in my hands: both old and new lenses, and they are NOT the same color. I NEVER asked for a refund; I only asked for matching, professional lenses for the price I paid. Even in 2024, my 'Honey' lenses were mismatched, and I stayed silent out of loyalty. But I will not be silenced about your LIES and insults. Using my husband’s account and my own is perfectly legal in Germany. You are trying to suppress a loyal customer instead of admitting your poor quality control. This matter is NOT closed until I receive my full refund for your errors. I have already escalated this to PayPal and the German Consumer Centre (Verbraucherzentrale) to protect my rights under EU Law. Update: Desio is trying to avoid" responsibility by making false accusations. Using my
husband's account and my own account is perfectly normal and legal. My complaints were ALWAYS supported by clear photo evidence of mismatched colors (one blue, one greenish).
If your manufacturing was consistent and professional, I wouldn't have to complain. You are violating EU Consumer Law by refusing to refund defective products from November and February. This matter is NOT closed until I receive my full refund for your errors. I have already escalated this to PayPal

Absolutely the best color contacts on the market and exceptional customer service!

I think the quality of the quarterly lenses has declined. After about one month they are uncomfortable and unwearable. They also tear easily and I’ve had to throw many pairs away because of these issues. They seemed better a few years ago; something has definitely changed. I cannot send a photo as I had already opened and worn them a few times.
