Please note we a third-party metering and billing agent appointed by the managing agents of your building, who act on behalf of the building owner (your heat supplier). Our role includes issuing bills based on the metering data available and the approved tariff to the contacts we are provided for each individual account.
We’ve reviewed our records and located your ticket regarding the admin charge. As explained in our response, we’re unable to amend the tariff approved for the development.
The admin charge is a fixed daily rate set as part of the development’s heat tariff by the supplier, in coordination with the managing agents. This covers the essential services involved in metering, billing, and customer support, including:
- Issuing and managing billing statements
- Providing multiple payment options (Direct Debit, BACS, PayPoint, phone, and online)
- Holding and reconciling payments securely
- Debt management and reporting to managing agents
- Customer support by phone, live chat, and email
- Maintaining your online Customer Portal for payments and usage monitoring
In some cases, it also covers additional services such as tariff reviews or administrative costs linked to historic debt recovery.
We’re unable to amend the current tariff charges. Once the tariff expires, all rates will be reviewed, and any changes will be communicated to all residents.
