My favourite place to buy beautiful clothes
I visited their beautiful Covent Garden boutique, and have now found my favourite shop in London. Not only are the clothes beautifully made, they are extremely comfortable and stylish. The staff were also really friendly and helpful and I ended up buying 3 dresses, a pair of trousers and an incredible blue suit. I enjoy wearing every single piece and always have people asking where I bought them. I usually really struggle to find clothes that fit as I’m a size 10 but have curves. Every piece I bought was as if it was made to measure. Thanks to everyone, I’m coming back.

Worth every penny!
I bought two pairs of the classic power move trousers after a lot of hesitation about the price. And I can joyfully confirm they live up to the hype! It almost makes you tear up - finally a pair of trousers that really fits and adapts to your body as it changes throughout your day and month (because it does). I will come back for more when I need more pieces that unapologetically adapt to me.

I was not impressed by my Dai experience.
I was very impressed at the Dai catalogue and purchased a jumper as a result. Unfortunately the item arrived poorly packed ( balled up in the clearly reused and re stuck poly bag and the item had a horrible odour. Plus there were what looked like dog hairs on the jumper. I emailed Dau who fully apologised and said they would reimburse me and emailed a return link so I didn’t have to pay for postage - quite rightly. Not a great experience and unlikely to purchase from Dai again.

Shipping and taxes if you are outside the UK
The quality of the product (a merino jumper) is very good but unfortunately I would have been better off choosing a size medium rather than small. Ordinarily I would have returned the jumper which was on sale, but as the shipping was £20 for France and on top of that I paid 37€ of taxes, and the return costs would have been 15-20€ I prefer to cut my losses and reduce my carbon footprint by keeping it and trying to get some wear out of it.
As the price was displayed in euros I mistakenly thought that the taxes were included. I fully take my responsibility for not checking the small print but together with the consideration of the shipping costs, I am very unlikely to make another purchase online with Dai. I have followed the evolution of the company since reading about the founder in an inflight magazine (I think) but it does prompt me to buy local from now on.

Thank you for taking the time to review Dai. We take your feedback seriously and we do appreciate the frustration of encountering such a high import duty as a direct result of Brexit. We will be taking steps internally to ensure this message is clearer at checkout.
However, as it stands, we dispatch all parcels on a DDU, Delivery Duty Unpaid, basis and this information is outlined on our Delivery and Returns page under “Brexit update for EU customers”. This change came into effect on Jan 1, 2021, whereby EU customers may be asked to pay duty, taxes, and customs fees before they can receive their shipments.
As a young company directly impacted by Brexit, we are working through the steps with EU countries in a complicated process so that we can introduce DDP, Delivery Duty Paid, to be able to provide our seamless service to all of our EU customers once again. We aim to have this available in 2023, so please do stay tuned.
