Received the project. My child was doing well until a piece was recognized (hip to shin connection spacer was without the ends that allow the connection to be secured). Not a problem as this happens with things. But it has been several days without a response and two emails without response as well. So exciting and unique gift experience but the response time has not been good for us. Still waiting to get this solved and received to complete it within the monthly time frame to determine if its something we want to go through again.

10 days after the order was supposed to ship out it finally does and I get charged for it.

Overall a great crate. We’ve done kiwi crates for years and my son wanted something a bit harder and more engineering focused, so we signed up for this. We’ve only done one box so far. The instructions leave a bit to be desired (e.g. wires in the diagram will be different colors than the wires you have, the code technically worked but needed some tweaking). The first project has over an hour of instructional videos to watch which is about 55 more minutes than a 10 year old is going to watch.

I have a little knowledge in the field and was able to help my son skip some parts that he’ll pick up as we go.

Keeping the subscription and hoping it was just the first one that was such a heavy lift.

Twice I have needed to contact Creation Crate via their customer service email. Once was because we wanted to change the crate from Electronic to Engineering and the other because we lost a part. Both times I received replies within 24-36 hours and both times the company was able to help me. They switched out the type of crate we were receiving (processing a refund) and sent out the missing parts at no charge. Their customer service was great.

We can't download the first tutorial. We emailed days ago and haven't heard back.

Item sat with an invalid address for over a week. No communication from support. Emailed 3 times and engaged online for assistance but support hours are UTC or UTC+3. Why?
Then support blamed the postal service for messing up the package when there wasn’t even a label created. Returning purchase upon arrival because I can’t get a hold of support again.

I received my first shipment with a missing part. After talking to customer service about the problem, it got resolved in an extremely expedited way. Even with the holiday weekend approaching I was able to get my missing part within 14 hours of talking to customer service. Customer service was very friendly and helpful.

I paid $300 for three engineering projects. I got a box with a note that some parts were missing and would be shipped later but nothing indicating what parts those were. About 50% of the parts are missing. It's just a useless box of scrap parts that we are not able to use at all. My son was so excited about this but now so disappointed. I was told there were three kits but we got one box of stuff all of which is still sitting in the box useless given how many parts are missing (at least 19). $300 down the drain.

On March 28, 2023 I was sent a prepaid return shipment to return a kit for credit. I have USPS tracking that my return was received on March 31st. I have not yet received my credit. I have emailed twice since with no response. Very disappointed. No follow thru on commitments. UPDATE: Soon after I posted this review, I received a communication from Creation Crate. My refund was issued June 28th.

These projects are exactly what I was looking for! I wanted to gain more understanding of electrical functions and communication. The instruction videos are clear, the projects are challenging yet achievable - can't wait to do more!

I added the Chemistry course to my cart, but ended up getting the engineering kit instead.

Creation Crate has been great for my science club!! The experiments are exactly the hands-on activities that my students appreciate and the Chemistry online lessons are very well made. Even their customer service is very responsive and helpful.

The electronics projects but have a defective part and have been trying for over 3 weeks to get a replacement. Responded to their queries quickly with detail and pictures but haven't gotten any communication in 3 weeks.

We loved creation crate! My son was 11 and interested in electronics and coding. The products were just right for him and his skill levels and his needs! I highly recommend.

Purchased the Engineering Units. I was disappointed the last one- using the glove to control the movement- was not included, but I assumed it was still being developed. Finally emailed CC and Naseem informed me that it apparently was lost in the mail so he is resending at no charge. I appreciated the customer service!

Worst company ever. Spent hundreds of dollars. Package delivered and left in rain on a day it was not supposed to arrive. Company will not respond. HORRIBLE. Do your homework. No way to call them. And they do to respond on any platform. I tried them all and multiple times.

I placed an order around Black Friday for the Chemistry subscription & the Engineering All at Once Kit for my boys for Christmas. I received the Chemistry set and put it away. Today I was wrapping gifts and noticed I did not have the Engineering Kit. I checked the tracking information and it says it was delivered. I did not receive it. Maybe it was delivered to the wrong address or someone stole it off our porch. I contacted Creation Crate to verify address and package size. Naseem was amazing, I told him what happened and he said Thank you for letting them know and he will send out a replacement!!! Now that's customer service!! Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!
