Very frustrating

Very frustrating. While I have been able to get the medications I require without much difficulty, their client management software is frustrating to use. My vet switched my pet from one med to another, but Covetrus will NOT allow me to remove the old med from the system, so I keep getting reminders that I have an "expired" prescription...over and over. I contacted Covetrus customer service and asked how I could stop the reminders on the expired prescription and was told I could not--I could either stop all reminders and keep getting all reminders. when I asked why the system would remind me about old, discontinued prescriptions I was basically told that's the way it is, smiley face emoji.

I would give Covetrus zero stars if…

I would give Covetrus zero stars if that were a possibility. I bought Covetrus ParaMonthly Plus for Dogs, 12 pack, a year supply and was giving him his monthly dose and noticed 2 of the tubes showed the liquid medicine had drained out and were outside the tube in the packaging. I went to my vet and they wouldn't replace it as I bought it through their partner Covetrus and they told me to contact Covetrus directly. Covetrus refused to replace those 2 tubes because I ordered it a year ago. That's what a 12 month supply is for, since it is used every month. It does not say on the packaging that if you buy a 12 month supply they won't stand behind it. They said sorry, nothing we can do. I will be switching products to a more reliable company in the future.

As a vet

As a vet, I despise Covetrus. We were using a very good software program until Covetrus bought the software and ruined it with their "improvements." Likewise, they bought Roadrunner Pharmacy and ruined it as well. Their ordering website where vets order from is clunky and they're often out of things. Just a terrible company ever since they were bought by a private equity.

Our Mastiff requires insulin daily for…

Our Mastiff requires insulin daily for his diabetes. Covetous has over charged us on insulin and shipping for several months. We dealt with it because my Vet uses them. Shipping is critical. To say the least they failed getting us the insulin when we needed it most so we fired them. I would not recommend this service to my dog.

Do not recommend Covetrus!!

My vet has switched to using Covetrus. We had always used Chewy and had no complaints, actually plenty of praise. I have tried half dozen times and am very disappointed with Covetrus. Higher prices, horrible communication, long turn around times. I wouldn't recommend Covetrus at all and am going to get paper prescriptions and use Chewy again. Twice now I have run out of the medication due to very slow processing and shipping.

Order canceled, charge still pending

They canceled my order and the charge is still pending on my debit card. Why was my order canceled? Apparently they don't have the items in stock. But then why I was still allowed to order them?

This was my first time ordering from this company through my vet's online pharmacy. I am not very happy with the outcome and will probably never attempt an order from here again.

Do you like paying twice?

I'm starting to think this company is nothing more than a scam. While they did send me the medications I order for my pets. They placed a second order as soon as I placed my first order and double billed me for the same order twice. I can understand this being an error once or twice but every mother-loving time I order from this website?! They double bill me and say oh you must have made a mistake on your end. If I could give them less than one star for a review I would these people are pure garbage. You know what? I will never ever; I don't care if it is the medicine that would save my life. I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, order from this company ever again, never ever again!

Check your bank statement, they charged us every three weeks which equals to twice a month. No one authorized them from once a month to twice a month, it just happened.

This is a terrible pharmacy service

This is a terrible pharmacy service, there has been a problem with every order placed. My vet ordered compounded cat treat medication and the cat has found each of their various flavors unpalatable and refused to take it. The cat had no problem with other compounded formulations.
Everything is consistently out of stock and takes forever to get. They charge a litany of fees on top of being more expensive in the first place. They try to set up auto-refills and make just ordering one time an opaque process. I am considering changing vets just so I don't have to use this horrible online pharmacy. No redeeming qualities, they desrve to go out of business. Boo!

Their mistakes led to my pet’s death

My issues with Covetrus began in August 2024 when they filled my pet’s Levetiracetam prescription. Minimum order requirements meant that I was filling a prescription where 90% would have to be discarded. Then less than 30 days after filling the solution contained precipitates from a bad formulation. During the time it took for them to verify and send out a new prescription my pet had a seizure that resulted in injuries thst ultimately led to her death! Additionally the second prescription they sent also went bad over a month before the expiration. Then on the day after my pet died I received an abrasive email saying my refill was overdue and needed to be completed.

I would never recommend this pharmacy! The inconsistency and incompetence of their pharmacy led to my pet’s death. There is zero reason that a prescription with a 90 day expiry should go bad in less than a month after receipt by patient.

Worst Expierence EVER

Charged my CC for prescription diet food for my dog. It was processing for 5 days, I called a spoke to someone to make sure they werent out of stock. I was assured that it was in stock. 2 days later, received an email my order was canceled due to item being out of stock. When I called to complain, I was the bad person. WOW Covetrus charges my CC and holding money for 6 days. This also happend on March 1st 2024 for the same product.
In my opionion what can Covetrus do better "Stop Selling, Go Out Of Business, Close down, Find a hobby your passionate about because you DON'T care about animals.

On November 1st I ordered 2 bags of…

On November 1st I ordered 2 bags of Demaquin soft chews. On November 4th the products shipped. On November 7th I got a notice from UPS the package was damaged and immediately called Covetrus to explain what happened.

I was told they needed to investigate and it would take 1-3 days. Here we are on 11/13 and I had to call back again because no new product has been shipped out. The representative told me it was going to take another few days before the product would ship.

In what world should a customer have to wait for an investigation because UPS damaged their product? A new product should have immediately been shipped out.

Poor customer service, deceptive prices, hidden med details

My vet prescribed Fluoxetine for my anxious cat, and sent it through covetrus. I got an email reminder to reorder, so I did, but got a reply from customer service it was too early to reorder. So my cat had to detox. No Bueno. Then I tried to set up autoship, but it said I had already signed up so I couldn't get the discount for signing up. After an hour+ I got customer service to place the order with the discount. When I tried to place the order myself, the discount cs gave me magically disappeared.

Talked to my vet and they agreed that covetrus is terrible, and they confirmed I could use any pet pharmacy. I checked chewy and realized covetrus doesn't give details on the meds. It was for a pen with the amount listed as "clicks". I contacted covetrus to find out how much is in it. Chewy is 9ml for a comparative (but still less) price. Cs doesn't have access to that information, and had to put in a request to the pharmacist. Still waiting on that reply. What kind of pharmacy can't tell you how much medicine they're actually giving you????

Reply from pharmacist confirms they charge nearly double what chewy does. Rating confirmed.

This place is a joke

This place is a joke. My wife applied to work there with a resume of 20 years doing veterinary work, dealing with surgeries, running anesthesia, doing dentals, prescriptions, you name it. Licenced in multiple states with letters of recommendation from several doctors vouching for her work ethic. She did multiple interviews with a promise to get back to her but just gets ghosted. I would caution anybody to do business with a place like this after seeing how they treat potential new hires. No wonder they have so many bad reviews from internal employees as well as customers. The sad thing is my wife takes the high road and doesn't complain, but she was literally crying from how they treated her, where as I will call anybody out for treating someone like that. Shame on this company.

Good thing nobody trusts you guys based on what you say or I would be holding my breath for multiple days waiting for a call or email that never happened. Sounds like every department says they'll "get back to you" and then you never hear from them again. My review has been validated.

NEVER AGAIN

11/7 Update- Rx never arrived, customer service said it would be 72 hours for a supervisor to get back to me, they never did. They've returned $45. Why only half? I called customer service again yesterday. How long will it take to get the rest of my money back?

My $91 debit card payment CLEARED my checking account 10/17/24. Today is 10/24/2024 & the prescription has still not arrived. I will change vets before I order from Covetrus again.

Been dealing with this company through my veterinarians referral every month a different problem over over overpriced medication finally switch to a different company got 2 months worth for $25 less than one month worth from these clowns tried to talk it over with a manager waited on hold a couple of times for 20 minutes had to hang up would not recommend these clowns
