Scam/ please run away from the fraudulent company
Hello, my name is Armando Soto, My father is Angel Soto, Owner of Easton Plastering. I am very very upset with Hibu and am hoping to resolve this issue before my farther escalates the situation and terminates the contract early. April 28th > I sent out an email to my agent Mary Patterson, and Sophia Bogard. I made it absolutely clear, that I did not want any sort or form of "tracking" number on my account. Also you have record of the email AND the 2nd / final consultation phone call my father had with Mary and HIBU> MY FATHER MADE I CLEAR ONCE AGAIN NOOOOO TRACKING NUMBER ON OUR ACCOUNT. ( Both of these instances are verifiable ). May 25th > Website goes Live, WITH tracking number. We texted and called Mary every 2-3 days demanding to turn off the tracking ( which should have never touched my website PERIOD, simple as that....) tracking number gets turned "off" > but it remained on our website until JUNE 19th..... (According to a tier one manager me and Mary spoke with).... 3 (THREE) customers, contacted my father, and informed him that the number on the website was a DEAD END NUMBER> IT LEAD TO NO WHERE. July 2nd, I open the website on my MacBook Pro. DEAD NUMBER IS STILL DISPLAYING...... July 4th 2022, > My father, and I, and my younger brother who has nothing to do with this business. Each went on the eastomplastering.com website, and we took VIDEO EVIDENCE!!!!!! THAT THE DEAD Number REMAINED THERE, when it should have never even touched our website. THE DEAD number was on our website MAY 25th > July 5th... Confirmed on more than 8 difference devices if we include the customers who informed my father of this ridiculous, unbelievable error, on HIBUS END.. Absolutely insane how this error went on for so long despite us making this clear (NEVER TRACKING NUMBER), BEFORE THE WEBSITE WAS EVEN LIVE...... We need to find a way to work this out, we are demanding a full months worth of credit applied to our account effective immediately....... Kristin Davis was in charge of performing a thorough investigation, and informed us that no adjustment was warranted.... I contacted her personally via phone call July 11th, 2022 around 10 AM west coast time. She took notes of everything I just typed once again, and said she would contact me right back. I never heard back from her, no update whatsoever. This has been the slowest months my father has had in years. Please contact me, we need to figure out a way to resolve this. Day 6 trying to cancel a product which…
Day 6 trying to cancel a product which it didn’t give me any profit at all and no solution to my case. I’m really disappointed with the service. Everyone that hires this company will only pay a monthly fee and not getting results. How they think that I’m going to have money to pay them if I’m not getting any costumer at all?? Don’t take any risks, they don’t care about the customers at all. They only care about the money they are receiving from you. I’m just trying to cancel a product which they’ve said that I’ll be getting customer. And I didn’t get ANY. The worse is paying $1287 per month for nothing .Don’t waste your money with this. They will promise everything to you.

Everyone has been extraordinary with my website building. All staff I've interacted with at Hibu is top notch and very responsive to clients needs. The dashboard features to ask for assistance or do myself are just a couple of the many great features offered. I am definitely impressed with Hibu.

I did business with this company for…Website, email, adds, phone book
I did business with this company for decades. Even before they were hibu. There are a few quality people working here but they are few. Some even flat out tell you lies. Email has crashed so many times that when I was just trying to get my domain, I believed them when they said 'sorry our email is down again'. Only to turn, they shut off my services that I hadn't even canceled. After four phone calls the truth came out they actually blamed me because I asked for my domain name to be 'freed'. After 15plus years, they refused to prorate my monthly fee. Saying 'we don't do that'. They left me hanging. I have spoken to them so many times in the last three weeks, they even gave me the info for when I want to cancel ... finally I call to cancel and THEN they try to tell me why I should stay with Hibu. I'm so upset all I can do is leave a warning message out there for others. Run, dont walk!

UPDATE: 11/8/21 In response to your reply...No. I have stated all of my grievances with multiple departments in your infrastructure with no satisfactory result. I do find it funny that this negative public review elicits such a prompt response from Hibu, whereas my many calls, emails and in person meetings have not. Telling. There is no reason to write to yet another dead end. Perhaps do less online reputation management for your own benefit and more for that of your clients...
If their digital marketing team worked even a fraction as hard for my business' digital brand and presence as their legal team has trying to extract money not owed to them, I probably wouldn't be a disgruntled ex-client. This company is not who you should trust to help you build. Paying Hibu to be in charge of your businesses digital marketing is the equivalent of balling up money and throwing it in a waste basket, actually then you could simply retrieve the wads of cash, its worse for sure.
