Frustration with Hibu
After working with Hibu for the last 3-4 months, it appears that their processes are very rigid and mostly templated. So, for example, you have to find the template that works best for your social ads. Then fit your business information in the template that you choose. The other, and larger frustration, is the fact that communication between all of the associates at Hibu is not very good. I am figuring out how to work within Hibu's system by trail and error instead of clear instruction on the front end.

When it comes to advertising I am always on the fence about what is going to drive the traffic to our business. Some places promise things with a high rate.
Since I have started working with HIBU. They never oversold me on items that would not benefit us. My rep Emily has been amazing thru the whole process along with the design team helping on our new website.
I am totally happy with the outcome and look forward to all the great things that are in store ahead.

Hibu Marketing and my consultant Josh literally changed the trajectory of my life. As a hairdresser with nearly four decades of experience in the San Francisco Bay Area, I had painstakingly built a flourishing business with a loyal clientele. Unavoidable circumstances led to a relocation 2.5 hours away, resulting in a grueling commute that was unsustainable. I am in the twilight of my career and starting over did not seem possible, but I had to do it. I opened a small Salon and waited for customers. When little happened, my sister suggested I hire HIBU. Advise you to get every detail in writing!!!!
We signed up for Hibu on a 6 month agreement and was the worst decision we made!!!!! We made 1st payment in December and ads banner ADs started to run. They promised to help and create ADs they did not. Same ads ran for 4 months!!!! Out account manager constantly tells us how ad is doing regardless of what we say. They firmly believe that if someone looks at an ad automatically believes they came into out business instead of listening to out team that tells otherwise!!! Hence ads stay up instead of doing as WE ASK and change ad out. Our agreement was up in May and they came back and said you agreement doesn't start until all ads start to run but they take monthly payments regardless and try to use that to extend your agreement!!!!!
We may be only 1 review but I will say tread lightly if using this company!!!!! Ensure you have a hard start and end date and ensure to get everything promised in writing in if they say what they will do in a general conversation!!!!!! GET EVERYTHING IN THE AGREEMENT ESPECIALLY HARD END DATE!!!!!!

Don't engage if you aren't a local business
I am a coach who works nationally with clients. My Hibu contact said they'd be able to get the phone ringing based on Display, Google and Facebook ads. It's been over 5 months, yet I haven't gotten one single call from a truly qualified prospect. They've tried a couple of random things to address, but have not been any more successful. When I asked them to stop the bleeding and end the contract, rather than helping me cut my losses, they refused. So, if you are looking for a true partner and someone who takes accountability, you may want to go elsewhere.

No idea what they did in 3 months time - it's a scam company
No idea what they did in 3 months time. To go into the details would take more wasted energy than I have for this company. I am truly so irritated at the lack of integrity in the rep (Gregg Warmbier) I had and the company itself.
One word of advice: RUN!!
Edit: they asked me to reach out to them. I did. They never responded.
This company is a scam.
This company has been fraudulently offering marketing services for years. There are multiple lawsuits against them.
They offer to provide marketing services and do nothing. When I told them I wanted things resolved, they did nothing. It's been 3 months and no work has been completed. I told them I don't want their services, and they are threatening me with collections.
Please look at others who have had the same problem. This company is running a scam and they should be stopped. thousands of small businesses have been destroyed by them, and nothing happens.

Scam! Do not use unless you want to throw $ away!
I entered into an agreement with this company last November. I pay $300 a month for 4 services, none of which they do. For example, one of the services is to increase my business ratings. The first month, they were able to get me a number of 5 star ratings. However they failed to mention that these ratings are not public and I am the only one who will ever see them! Since that time, they have done nothing else. Another example is their online business info management service, ensuring accurate information. While their Hibu dashboard told me my info was nearly 100% accurate, this was in fact false. When I had a social media account assessment separate from Hibu, they found my Google business page listed the wrong phone number and web address. This error was publicly visible to the world for at least two weeks, probably longer! When I went into correct the errors, I learned I no longer had ownership or access to my Google account. I found this out after spending hours on the phone with Google Support. I couldn’t do anything to fix the problem so I submitted a request to correct the phone and web info, Hibu declined. So I called Google back and they helped me figure out how to get me back as an admin, but Hibu still owns my account. These are just a few examples of their scam operation! Do not use unless you want to throw money away!

I emailed my rep to cancel service, they continued to charge my credit card.
I called HIBU and they said they would cancel the service if I would confirm all past payments as valid.
I refused and am disputing my credit card bill.
This takes my time and HIBU's time.
Be careful as HIBU is not trustworthy.

Declining service
I find it interesting all the 5 star reviews this company has in their own website, but upon checking in other platforms the truth comes out.
My experience was positive at the beginning, the onboard team was good, as time went by the sales rep started selling me different products to promote my new business. None of those products brought any leads at all, at one point they run a campaign with the wrong phone number, or they run another one without any information of the products sold in my business just the name and phone number. When I wanted to make changes on my website the had a person give me directions to do it myself.
The communication is terrible, no one knows what’s going on with the account, meaning I had to repeat the story every time. I started the process to cancel their services due to non performing and never got a call back.
I stoped payment on my credit card, but now I know I can count on a daily call from their collection department.

Scam Artists
Long story short I cancelled my account with my sales rep which is the main person I dealt with throughout my time with the company. (2) months later I got charged $10,000.00 and they say "well we sent you an email, you can't just cancel with your claims rep". Imagine charging someone $10,000.00 without making a phone call. What an absolutely joke of a company. Stay away from these people. On another note they can barely drum up any business either.
