Communication was swift, professional and friendly. We had an initial problem on arrival which was dealt with very quickly and we were able to continue without worry.

Renting out a property that they said was safe for children & Pets, Absolutely not safe and dangerous to life, customer service shocking and no sympathy, they just want your money with no aftersales consideration at all

Property white wings based in fowey, is located up 6 small flights of stairs with no access to balcony or terraced area despite having table and chairs.

Short 15 minute walk, slope acceptable for most even our 4 year old was able to walk into town and ba k most nights

We used Cornish Horizons for the first time and we were very impressed.
The communication from beginning to end was superb and we also received direct contact from the owner of the property which was brilliant and really enhanced the process.
We stayed at Willow Cottage in St Merryn and it was absolutely fabulous. It was in a brilliant location, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and really well equipped. We only stayed for 3 nights and we were very sad to leave - it was a real 'home from home' and I would highly recommend it - we will definitely be back.
Our only criticism would the 9am check-out time on the day of the departure. We accept that during Covid, when deep cleaning took place between guests, this might have been necessary but surely not now? It initially put a dampener on our plans but luckily the owner stepped in and we were able to depart at a far more civilized 10.30, thank you :) xx

Simple to book with online and from the start of the process to the end of your holiday, they're always keeping you well informed. Hard to fault in any way.

Disgusting uncleaned property. Stayed christmas 22 at Hebe Cottages St Ives. On arrival at 10.30pm after 10 hr drive we firstly were unable to find keys to the garage, then realised our clean linen was left on the floor and the cottage had not been cleaned prior to previous guests. We had to clean and make up the beds before noticing that there was disgusting stained and dirty matress and bedding. Then there was Broken knives dirty chipped cups and equipment and the cupboards were dirty inside. We were unable to speak to anyone about our issues only leave a voice mail, which was replied to the next day. The office was closed until 28th dec but after reporting the local Cornish Horizons office staff did nothing despite saying they would contact head office on our behalf. Not happy at all and would avoid at all costs! We have shocking photo evidence of our experience. And interesting to see that there a very similar reviews for this company!

Cornish Horizons was always communicative and my arrival was very well prepared. Questions were answered promptly. Updates by mail were helpful. No complaints!

We had a wonderful stay at Polsue gardens over New Year with our small dog who equally enjoyed himself. We received a very warm welcome with fresh bread and milk on arrival and even a new year box of chocolates as a gift!
Dee answered any questions quickly and we found our stay really comfortable and relaxing in a perfect location to explore Cornwall. Polsue is very well equipped and immaculately clean home from home we highly recommend!

Lots of emails about upcoming holiday .Giving information about property and directions ,what to bring.Had to contact the caretaker and problem was solved very quickly.
As we were there for Christmas /new year would have been nice to have some decorations up .
It did say dishwasher tabs and kitchen paper would be provided but only half a roll and 2 tabs so bring your own .

Great apartment in a very central location very well maintained and equipped. Just be aware that there is a short section of steep narrow staircase up to the living area. Roof terrace is a great bonus

Easy booking, good information on properties and facilities. Cottage clean and in a good location.

Very nice apartment in Looe, Cornwall. They had thoughtfully provided books, games, fresh flowers and tea etc. There were even some spare lightbulbs for when one of the bulb lamps went!

However, I was not prepared for how unclean the apartment was on arrival. The floors were littered with dog hair from a previous occupant, so clearly hadn't been hoovered. A quick sweep with the dustpan and brush visibly showed all manner of dust, dirt, and pet hair. The plates had clearly not been washed up properly - this was plain to see upon just opening the cupboard for the first time, where there were large food stains on the outside rim. The bath had not been cleaned, plus the remote control was filthy. This surprised me as Cornish Horizons had been so careful with Covid warnings and even asked holidaymakers to arrive late/leave early to allow them to clean thoroughly. You are expected to bag up bed linen and empty all bins / do the washing up so I'm really not sure what they were doing in this extra time. My first trip of the holiday was to go to the co-op for some cleaning supplies! (Most were provided, but not kitchen spray or wipes). Overall, not the best first impression of a holiday home when you just want to settle into the place.

I was also surprised at the number of items broken or in need of repair. The bathroom mirror light and vanity dressing table mirror were not working, and the showerhead and kitchen sink tap leaked badly when in use. I had to get a spare fan out of the cupboard (thankfully there was a spare one!) as the one put out wasn't working.

The apartment had an allocated parking space, but it was a bit misleading since it was right in front of the bins, which needed emptying every Monday and Friday, meaning you had to park your car on the road the evening before those days. It was very inconvenient. I came down one morning after I had moved my car and lots of rubbish had been spewn in my parking space (foxes?). It was thankfully cleaned up by the time I returned in the evening, but not before the stress of having to contact Cornish Horizons.

I did contact the housekeeper about the cleanliness issues, but although they acknowledged the issues, were not very apologetic and claimed that all cleaning procedures had been followed. This was clearly not the case as I took photos. I sent these to Cornish Horizons directly upon my return - I did get an apology but unfortunately the housekeeper hadn't passed on my comments to the local office. I did get £100 to redeem against another property, but I'm not sure if I would use Cornish Horizons again.

Great location in Fowey with parking. Lovely property.

The property we stayed in, in Padstow was very dirty. It was obvious that it had not been cleaned even though we were asked not to arrive early to allow the cleaners to do a thorough clean. Cornish horizons just said sorry. Saying that they did not own this property and the owner would not communicate with us. I will not use them again. Be aware.

Easy to book and reasonably priced. Great location with car park close by and easy walking into the town.
Apartment very clean warm and modern fixtures. Good lounge area to relax.
