Rearranged technician's visit
Rearranged technician's visit after two scheduled visits did not work out well. The first visit was during a very hot day - above 30 degrees when the room thermostat would not fire the boiler. The second visit did not materialise for reasons not known to me as I waited all day for the visit. But all was well after a visit was quickly arranged over the phone.

The boiler service
The boiler service, when it happened, was great but the booking system left a lot to be desired. Once I was advised by text that the service was due I was invited to book online. No slots were available, and this continued for several weeks until I was informed that a booking had been made for me. This was for a date I'd be away, and the online 'rescheduling' option seemed to only offer a 'confirm' button. I had to ring up to get a new date. The original one was cancelled and I was put through to a company who were able to offer an agreeable date (sooner than the original one). I continued to get texts from Corgi telling me to book a date, which I ignored since I believed I had a booking. However, no-one showed up on the agreed date, and I was subsequently offered another which I felt obliged to accept despite it being less convenient. I would have much preferred to place a booking over the phone in the first place.

Heating Engineer comes up trumps!
The heating engineer (Martin.C) who called was excellent. Despite it being late on a Friday afternoon, he quickly identified the failing part, sourced a replacement from a local stockist, collected and fitted it and then spent time to service the boiler. Very grateful to him for all his effort to resolve the problem on the day. All the more so as he had another job to go to after ourselves.

Engineers arrived the day after call to corgi although it took 1 week to sort engineer for 2nd opinion. Engineers came out on a Sunday afternoon and quickly established problem
