Unacceptable Delays, Empty Promises, and Zero Transparency
My experience with Chamelo has been nothing short of unacceptable.
I placed an order in early January (3 Jan 2026), including prescription lenses — a premium product with a premium price. Since then, over 3 months have passed, and I still have NO glasses and NO real delivery date.
Every time I contacted support, I received the same copy‑paste responses:
“Your order is in the final stage,”
“It’s being prioritized,”
“We’ll ship soon,”
“Thank you for your patience.”
In reality, nothing changed. These were empty promises, repeated week after week, without a single concrete update. No verified production status. No confirmed shipping date. No transparency at all.
For a U.S.-based company, this level of service is shocking. There was zero proactive communication and zero accountability for the ongoing delays. Not once did they provide an accurate or specific timeline — just vague excuses and reassurances that ultimately meant nothing.
When a company repeatedly fails to meet its own deadlines and cannot even state when a paid order will ship, that’s not “custom production” — that’s poor planning and worse communication.
At this point, I have completely lost trust in this brand. If you consider ordering from Chamelo, especially prescription lenses, be prepared for:
Massive delays,
Generic, unhelpful support replies,
No real timeline,
And the constant feeling that you’re being strung along.
I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

I placed my order at mid Feb and my glasses haven’t arrived yet,also my tracking number . I have sent a few emails and all I get was let me to wait until mid march. Passed the date they said that it will be shipped around mid march,and no reply from them from my last email . They even ignored my ig dm .What a disaster.
Update at 17/4 , although it’s another colourway but I got my glasses. They contacted fast and gave me plenty of options to choose . And after the item is shipped, I got my glasses just a day after.That is what we ask for .

Absolute worst experience and a Farce!!
One of the absolute worst experiences I have had. The company claims a 5-6 day delivery. It has been OVER A MONTH!! and they still have not dispatched my order. All of my emails are being met with a textbook response- "It's almost Ready", "It's ready to be dispatched". Utter rubbish and a company which is utterly incompetent and incapable of living upto all their marketing hype.

I like the fact that there are…speakers there!
I like the fact that there are speakers, since I hate sticking head phones in my ears!
The glasses also fit well with actually no adjustments of any kind!

Since the payment on 6/2/2026, I still have not received the goods. Despite multiple contacts with customer service and even changing the product as instructed, the goods have not been delivered. Customer service claims there is a delivery delay but cannot provide an actual delivery time. It raises suspicions that the company deliberately collects money without delivering goods.

James from Chamelo's customer service department reached out to me to solve the issue and immediately offered to refund 15% of my purchase price. I am truky impressed by the speed of their response and solution to my purchasing issue.

I'm giving 5 stars on the customer support and trouble shooting team of Chamelo. I couldn't ask for better complaint resolve than what they provided. My son loves the glasses, but wasn't crazy about the sound and they came late. They provide me with a discounted rate/refund to make things right and I greatly appreciated it. Kudos Chamelo! I have no doubts that if something happens to this pair he will order another pair.

Been waiting over 3+ month for my product, but yet not received. I’ve been contacting them multiple times with their staff telling me they’ll look into it and update me, but I never got a response. Horrible customer service.

Don’t know where my purchase is
UPDATE 11/03: I received the glasses a few days later. Suddenly the tracking number was updated. I updated the amount of stars from 1 to 3.
Customer Support should be on top of things at any moment, and not let the inquiry of the customer wait for a 4-5 days without hearing back - especially when the item should already arrive and there is no update.

Horrible experience
My experience with Chamelo has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
In July 2025, I placed an order for a pair of Chamelo glasses totaling $259 plus $12.85 shipping. After waiting more than a month without receiving anything, I contacted their customer support and requested to cancel the order.
Their team confirmed the cancellation.
Despite confirming the cancellation, they still shipped the product to me anyway weeks later without my authorization. This should never happen with a legitimate company.
Since the order had already been cancelled, I immediately contacted them and asked for a return label, because I should not have to pay to return something that was sent after a confirmed cancellation.
I requested a return label multiple times, but they never provided one. Instead, they instructed me to ship the package back using my own money and promised they would reimburse the shipping cost.
Because of their mistake, I had to waste my own time going to the post office and pay for return shipping out of pocket. I returned the package and provided the tracking number exactly as they requested.
After months of waiting, they finally responded offering a refund of $221, which is not even close to the correct amount.
The correct refund should include:
• $259 for the product
• $12.85 for the original shipping
• The return shipping cost I paid because of their mistake
Instead, they are attempting to refund less than what they owe, after forcing me to deal with a problem that they created in the first place.
This entire situation shows extremely poor customer service, lack of accountability, and very questionable business practices.
I cancelled the order properly.
They confirmed the cancellation.
They still shipped the product anyway.
They refused to provide a return label.
They made me pay for return shipping.
Now they are trying to refund less than the full amount.
This process has dragged on for months, with slow responses and no real resolution.
Buyers should be very cautious when dealing with this company. Based on my experience, their customer support is unreliable and their handling of customer issues is unacceptable.
