I received exactly the fixture I bought in less than a week at a lower price than anywhere else. No collection from the courier for duties, customs, or taxes.
We ordered address numbers for an LED address light. The order was made, each number was given a different tracking number and took a long time to arrive. When we received the order, the number 3's were in the wrong font compared to the other numbers. This was not an error on our part, rather the numbers were labelled incorrectly. Perhaps if the numbers were all send out together, the worker would have caught that the 3s were not labelled properly. Now I have been trying desperately to contact the company and have had no response on any of the help desk entries and cannot speak to them any other way. This is a ridiculous way of conducting business with your customers.

BUYER BEWARE!! Completely misleading company poorly made, cheap made in China product. Several things wrong A) YOU ARE CHARGED IN US FUNDS - deceive you in thinking its a Canadian company. B) they lie and say they pay taxes and duties , yet I was charged for it. C) product is not like in pictures D) when you try to return they charge you over $100 E) we decided to keep it and just hang in basement since we would be charged to return and the PRODUCT IS FAULTY - not straight all wonky, machined wrong! F) no customer service real person to speak with - its all AI digitalized platform. YOU ARE BETTER OFF BUYING FROM IKEA, WAYFAIR OR AMAZON. THIS IS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

I purchased $500 worth of lighting from this company, and the description of the item on the website was incredibly misleading. Even after reaching out to customer service, I have to pay return shipping fees for something that is their issue. Online the lights show as white, in person they are YELLOW! Now I’m worried I won’t even be refunded as other customers said their packages never arrived. Scam.

They have a good selection of products. I too was taken aback that the cost of my purchase was in USD. I received my order very promptly by (FEDX), unfortunately, I had to start a return for the merchandise. I received a letter stating how it had to be shipped and their address. I took it to UPS (their suggestion), It cost me $120.97 to ship it back. The next morning I received an update from UPS stating there was a problem with the shipping address. I have a bad feeling about my return and am looking into this matter. You are responsible for all costs. Buyer Beware.

Excellent customer service! Order arrived on time and as expected
The customer service was exceptional Ann from customer support was quick to respond with an issue I had and resolved it instantly.
One thing I didn't realize until I was invoiced was the prices were in American dollars.... not Canadian because of the name you would assume it was a Canadian company so you will get hit with the exchange rate.
As many have mentioned, the website charges in USD which is a bit confusing as the company name would have you believe it's Canadian. My issue is that I ordered two fans and was immediately charged. The site indicated that a shipping update would appear in 24 hours. After 5 days, I received an email to say that the items were discontinued and a refund was issued. The difference in the exchange rate means that I am out $70 and have no product. While I understand the company has no control over fluctuating exchange rates, they should not be charging the customer until stock can be confirmed or when the item is ready to ship. I would be very wary to order from this company.

Deceptive.
It would be beneficial if USD prices were clearly indicated during the checkout process. However, my attempt to clarify this was met with some hostility over the phone. Consequently, I found myself questioning whether this store is the right fit for me. While it's possible the salesperson was having an off day, the early interaction left me with no desire of shopping there on behalf of any clients.
Edit: After that interaction with the sales rep I ordered elsewhere. The experience with the other retailer was great.

I was also mislead by the currency, thinking that I was paying in CAD and not in USD. However, after writing an email explaining that situation in a positive way, they accepted to refund me the amount to cover the price difference between USD and CAD. They say they will consider my suggestion to improve their website showing the currency directly beside the prices. Let's see. Happy by the way they solve this issue quickly.
Says they are a Canadian website shipping Canadian made products from Canada. They are a US company shipping products from the US. They do not state on the website that everything is listed in USD not CAD. They are very misleading. It’s not until you get the credit card notification that you realize it was in USD and because they instantly create a shipping label with the shipper they won’t let you cancel the order even though it hasn’t even been picked up. Now I have to wait for the order to arrive before I can have it sent back.
I ordered a lamp which turned out to be discontinued, so this company gave me a refund which was over $60 less (Canadian) than what I was charged due to a change in currency conversion.
I'm not sure why I should be penalized when their web site said the lamp was available, and despite numerous attempts at a refund, I'm the one who has to pay because their site is misleading and inaccurate!
They seem to think it is acceptable for me to be out of pocket, so DO NOT PAY THEM before you are assured that the item is actually available!

I was looking for some specific savoy house fixtures and canadalightingexperts.com were the best price even when factoring in the US dollars. I paid through PayPal to use my own currency card.
One of my fixtures arrived within 3 business days (in great condition, no issues) and the other pendants were on back order. I reached out to the company and they were a pleasure to deal with (both Lanel and Princess Reus ) and offered to cancel and refund if I wasn’t able to wait the addition time. This wasn’t necessary as our project hasn’t started yet but they still gave me the $25 USD credit since the product did not arrive in 3 business days.
Based on this experience I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!
The website is easy to use, with lots of lighting to choose from. The filters available allow for ease in shopping. I’ve ordered several times and have not had any issues, delivery is quick. Note that the pricing is charged in US$, I think that should be called out before checkout. Customer service is available by Chat or online for/email. A recent ordering issues was resolved quickly. A good site for browsing and shopping.

Ordered lights manufactured in CANADA, shipped from CANADA from CANADA lighting experts. There is no mention the price is in US DOLLARS, or that they are a US Company on their home page or on the invoice once you order. I found out when I received my cc statement. Tried calling the toll free number but only 'virtual help' provided. What a scam!

Ann’s customer service is so great! We had an issue where my package didn’t arrive within the 3 days as it was supposed to. Even when she was waiting on the manufacturer to get back to her she followed up with me several times to let me know what was happening. I’ve worked with several other lighting companies and this is by far the best level of service. I’m an interior decorator so it means a lot to me when I can keep my clients informed of what is going on. Thank you Ann!!!
