I visited boots in Watford and the whole experience was excellent . The advice is tailored to your health , what medications you are on , any changes they note from your last visit . The optician was more than happy to chat and answer all my questions and her medical knowledge was spot on . The whole process was quick and efficient I have used this company before and I will stick with them , thanks guys .

The staff at Boots (Adam and David) were fantastic.
They lost my lenses however they put the issue right 100%.

I previously reviewed Boots Opticians at Bedford Interchange Retail Park. They were hopeless and I think that the optician I saw was a moonlighting plumber. In contrast I have just been to Boots Opticians in St Albans and dealt with a magnificent optician called Claire. Friendly, efficient and she knows her stuff. Excellent service and the polar opposite of the Charlatans at Bedford.

Having lived in N E Lincs for some years, I was a regular customer of the local Boots and having moved this year, decided to go and visit Leeds and venture into a new visual experience with them.

Not disappointed, seen straight away and even had my existing pair of specs repaired.

Whilst the member of staff who dealt with me didn't have a name badge adorning her uniform, I can only endorse how helpful, kind, knowledgeable and affable she was and to continue the face of customer continuity where I had left off in Lincs, was an utter delight.

First class service! The optician did a very thorough examination and took the time to really investigate & understand my eye issues. She explained all the tests as she was doing them & allowed plenty of time for me to sample various alternative lenses to find the best option. I wasn’t rushed and felt like a VIP. Highly recommend

Recently since 25 August I have been trying to contact boots opticians to answer a complaint about incorrect lens and frames. My first phone 2 Sept I was told I would receive a call from the manager to discuss the complaint in 2 days. I am still waiting for this call. I then emailed the department on 3 occasions from the 3 Sept until 16 again without reply. I have now formally sent a final letter with a 14 day grace to come to some agreeable conclusion with me before pursuing the matter legally.
I wish to add: I get confirmation emails saying my email has not been received please use this email address. I use the different email address it confirmed received. I use this email
address again it confirms not received please use the same email address. If this is confusing you think how frustrated I am. I feel it’s profit before care

My wife and I visit Boots Opticians in Uxbridge every year for our eye tests and to select our new specs from their huge range and every year we leave happy and impressed by the service we receive. This year my wife was served by a delightful young lady (Zeineb?) who was so patient with us as we took forever to choose frames and bombard her with questions. In retrospect I guess we were classic fussy ‘older’ customers with time to spare and demands to make but she stoically and with genuine warmth gave us all the info we required and helped us choose the most appropriate glasses. Thank you Boots for another good experience and congratulations for employing such helpful staff.

My grandson who’s under 2 is on holiday in Devon. He had fall and broke his glasses. So we went into boots opticians in Barnstaple and was told t was either repair or replacement, went for replacement. Told no extra cost. Great.’
Day after a phone call to say we need to pay towards lenses, it needs paying but we are on holiday and going home Friday,
We now need to go into Ashby de la Zouch on Saturday and pay.
Staff training needs to be instigated.
Our grandson needs the glasses and shouldn’t be told it’s free and can be replaced.

I was welcomed immediately by Hassan who dealt with all matters before and after the testing process in a very professional manner

If I could have given no stars I would have done! After getting prescription glasses from Boots Opticians that ended up being very uncomfortable I knew I had to return. Problem was I was having brain and lung scans, due to having cancer I couldn’t make the time limit they give you to return. I phoned the shop twice telling them I would be late due to serious health conditions. I eventually made it back to the shop and after several alterations, because the glasses were digging into the side of my face I told them (and the manager Kate) that I still wasn’t happy and wanted my money back. I was told CONSTANTLY that I was beyond the return date and feeling quite unwell again that day just decided to leave. I then emailed the CEO of Boots hoping for some help. I have emailed more than TEN times and never had so much as a reply, never mind an apology! I find this quite hurtful, do Boots just not care about their customers at all. I would NOT recommend going to Boots for your glasses, the customer service stinks and the CEO obviously doesn’t care what is going on in the branches of Boots! The date I have put for my experience is a rough guess, I have been so poorly I couldn’t go through paperwork etc to find the exact date

Went to their Sittingbourne store for new glasses and eye test, was seen by Vicky and was very good at explaining everything to me and sorting out my requirements for my glasses great store friendly staff would recommend to friends and family

All staff were careful and considerate. Claire was particularly helpful and provided very thoughtful and useful advice.

I received an excellent service from Boots Opticians Hitchin. Everyone was extremely helpful and efficient, clearly explaining all my prescription options. Great selection of frames and an unhurried friendly atmosphere. Thank you!

Visited Hampstead branch today, having broken my frames in an accident. Sundip cleverly replaced the frames on the spot. Excellent, prompt service from all staff involved; couldn't have been more helpful and understanding.
I'll be returning there for an eye test soon.

Overall a pleasant experience

I had a return apptm for dilation of eyes for fuller assessment. Another very good experience with optometrist Jibran. Gave good information & even written rpt on eyesight to use for any ongoing specialist follow up. Explained why i needed particular test that had not been explained to me previously. Reassuring expertise.
