I bought 2 camping chairs from 2 different stores which both had the cup holders missing so I contacted customer service to see if there was any chance of obtaining the missing parts. I wasn’t expecting to get a positive response especially in this day and age where nobody seems to want to help. I thought the days of good customer service was a thing of the past but I was very much mistaken with B&M. I was very surprised when a lovely lady called Lisa in Customer Service quickly responded to my email, sourced the missing part and even rang me to tell me the good news instead of emailing! I wasn’t even asked to pay for the part or the postage. Such a welcome change. Well done B&M and thank you very much Lisa. Fantastic service.

Called into store on Sunday for some lawn edging with stakes, only 2 on shelf outside but pallet full on top shelf unopened....staff member said it was stocktake day and unfortunately they weren't allowed to open the new pallet..but of you can come back tomorrow we can sort you out then.
Make a special trip today to collect the edges..only 2 on shelf pallet still on top shelf told by different employee oh no we can't touch them , didn't have a time frame of being able to touch them, total waste of my time and still unable to buy edgings that are sat there in the store...what a joke as a fellow Scouser you need to get a grip of your hopeless staff ...lost customer will not return 🤡s

Bought 3 tubes of Smarties all contaminated by smoke both inside and out. Even in store you can smell smoke from outside fires. Told customer service about the issue who explained everything arrives sealed and who now want me to send photos and a receipt for what exactly?

After an assistant instore was unhelpful i called customer service! I spoke to 2 different women both lovely and very helpful that solved my problem immediately! Great service!

A lovely male assistant couldn't have been more helpful if he tried, he went above and beyond. The branch i visited was Kingstown, Carlisle.

Wrongly charged
Just visited the Whitehaven store. On the first aisle they were promoting a special offer on boxes of 6 Regal cat food, £2.09 instead of £2.79. I selected 3 varieties. At the till only one went through at the reduced price, the other two went through at full price. So I am owed £1.40!
Tried phoning the store but it was useless as the number on the website does not answer, merely recorded message re opening times or a message saying they could not advise on stock availability. Not brilliant customer service….

Très déçue par la gestion de mon retour au magasin B&M de Cormontreuil.

Lors de mon achat le 13/08/2026, j’ai demandé au vendeur de mesurer un moule en silicone afin de vérifier ses dimensions. Avant de l’acheter, je lui ai également demandé très clairement si je pourrais être remboursée dans le cas où le moule ne conviendrait pas. Il m’a répondu que oui, à condition que le produit n’ait pas été utilisé et qu’il soit propre.

Le moule n’ayant jamais été utilisé, ni sali, et étant dans son état d’origine, je suis donc revenue en magasin pour effectuer le retour.

À ma grande surprise, on m’a alors indiqué que les remboursements n’étaient pas possibles si je dépasse 24h donc il ya remboursement ou pas?et que seuls un avoir ou un échange pouvaient être proposés. Après avoir expliqué ce qui m’avait été indiqué au moment de l’achat, plusieurs réponses contradictoires m’ont été données : remboursement possible, puis éventuellement

possible après constitution d’un dossier transmis au siège, puis finalement aucun remboursement possible.

J’ai également été particulièrement déçue par la manière dont la situation a été gérée lorsque la responsable, appelée pendant son jour de repos, m’a répondu : « Je suis en repos et on me dérange. » Je comprends qu’un appel pendant un jour de repos puisse être désagréable, mais je ne pense pas que ce soit une manière appropriée de s’adresser à une cliente.

Ce que je regrette surtout, c’est le manque de cohérence dans les informations communiquées. Si le vendeur m’avait clairement indiqué avant l’achat qu’aucun remboursement n’était possible et qu’un avoir ou un échange constituaient les seules solutions, j’aurais pu prendre ma décision en connaissance de cause.

Je trouve cette expérience regrettable et j’espère que B&M prendra en considération cette réclamation, tant concernant la gestion du retour que l’accueil et les informations communiquées aux clients.

Je reste dans l’attente d’une solution concernant le remboursement de ce produit neuf et jamais utilisé.

I would like to make a compliment about one of your staff members at the Scunthorpe branch near to the football stadium ( apologies I don’t know the location)
The male on question is called Paul B and I would like to offer a compliment to this male for the following.
While shopping in your store recently I need d to use a toilet, I am a disabled male of 60 and I have a veal conditions and one is having to go to the toilet on a regular basis
As a person with disabilities this can be very embarrassing, however I had already asked two m bars of staff and received a flat -No
Then as I was leaving the Astore Paul B came to me and asked if I needed any help so o went on to explain about the toilet situation, Paul did try to contact his boss but he could not find him
So will h this Paul took it on himself to take me to a disabled toilet in the store
This was above and beyond what I expected the man is a complete star !!!!!
Without his help I would have soiled myself which would obviously been very distressing
Following this Paul help me buy the two items I had gone to the store for on the first place
As a disabled person I can not thank Paul enough and as a customer to your store I was extremely happy with this man’s attitude to my display

Great customer service. Isabelle was amazing at helping with my inquiry. She was very polite and patient to answer my questions and made sure that everything was clear for me. Very thankful for her commitment at work.

Me and my friend were at b&m and nicely asked if they have baby food they said no then when we walked off the said to each other well it would be in the baby isle and didn’t even try to hide it I am really disappointed

I raised a query with customer services and they replied within minutes. It was in the end my inadvertent error but I was very grateful for the quick and professional response.

Very organised store with great selections from food to households. Also, the staff are exceedingly helpful and quick checkout service.
However, today I walked in for a small bottle of water to drink in this hot weather. Surprisingly, the fridge was filled with fizzy and energy drinks, but the water stocked on shelf though, the mall hallway cooler then b&m shop floor.

I visit your store in Lincoln a lot (your branch in town near the cornhill) and I just want to give a shout out to one of your members of staff. I have never got his name, he’s a young man with slightly curly brown hair and glasses.

Every time I have been in store his customer service has been brilliant, nothing is too much trouble to ask for, and not only that but he is very aware of his surroundings and going the extra mile to make sure people have a great experience. For example I visited a couple of weeks ago, my newborn baby girl wasn’t in the best of moods and desperately needed a feed so I found a quiet corner to feed her.
This young man took it upon himself to come over and ask if I was okay, offered me a stool and asked if there was anything else I needed.
It was very much appreciated and really touched me that he genuinely cared about me as not just a customer but as a human. After 15 years working in retail/hospitality myself I know this doesn’t happen often. He is always so polite, happy and well mannered, I might just have to snatch him up myself if he ever wants a job!

I can’t remember exactly what days I’ve been in when he’s been working (to identify him) but I hope this message gets to him, he is a great credit to the store. Thankyou! :)

Almost every time I shop at this store the price is different at the checkout from the price displayed. When I pointed this out, the staff member agreed with me this is not how to run a business. I suggest to avoid at all cost. Home bargains as a much better store, the items are marked at the price you pay, it’s cleaner and better set out for shopping. Customer service is non existent.

Took a kettle back that supposed to have blue neon light when off and red neon light when of. Unfortunately the blue light had blown and leaked
Luckily it didn't leak into the water compartment. Anyway today I took it back for an exchange as I couldn't find the receipt even though I know it was purchases on 11/01/2026 and proof is on my online bank purchases. Even though my statutory rights say without a receipt I'm entitled to a repair or replacement. The msnageress refused to send it repair and as they no longer stock the same kettle they can't replace it. The manageress a very nasty woman wouldn't listen to my statutory rights I told her about and abruptly refused to do anything and told me to ring head office. Luckily I still had the box as was using it and a junk box. For me this is no way to treat good customers. My advice is don't anything electrical from B&M because of you don't take a receipt when offered or misplace the receipt you will be stuck with a useless product and get spoken to like a peice of something a dog owner might not pick up. Very disappointing as I spend a lot of money at the nottingham branches which I will now buy same from other outlets after the bitter taste left by the rude nasty Hucknall Nottingham branch. 6 months is not an acceptable time for an.electric kettle to last even though they are blaupunkt made from pretty cheaply plastic.

Edit update:
I called them as requested in their reply and because I can't remember the exact date of the perchase as I spend money in their store most weeks they said there's nothing they can do. Plz when they ask do you want a receipt always take one or else you will not be able to get a exchange or a refund. Your statutory rights mean nothing to b&m🙁🙁

Didn't have my reciept for a faulty item. Sent an email and ended up talking to a lovely lady Isabelle who sorted it all out for me, emailed me a copy of my reciept so i can return my faulty item

Went to the Rock retail park, up here on the wirral, 9.30 this morning....all the card payments facilities where offline again..maybe I am just unlucky but that has been the third time that's happened when I have visited, Lord knows how many times it happens, what system are they running there
I was fuming, holiday bits I needed,.bought elsewhere..we take cash I was told...yeah sure. Great help.
With ancient tills that the customer cannot see what they are being charged for until you get the receipt...then the usual fireworks because they have charged more than advertised on the shelf, a all to often problem I find in this store.
In all, appalling. Great lads on the tills...but the management and i.t service. Dreadfull.
