Awesome great time would recommend big bear Vacations’s

They charged me for 2 nights even though I was booked for 1 night. My receipt even said "1 night stay" but later found out they were doing 2 nights minimum even though it doesn't say that anywhere on the website. Also, we cleaned the house before we left and they still charged us $50 for "trash and dishes" - we TOOK OUT the trash and ran the dish washer TWICE! I emailed them back asking about the fees, but they never responded. I'm having my bank take care of those extra charges but this is ridiculous.

Cabin not very clean, did it have any the amentities it was supposed to. When I called about this. I was told a work order would be made and someone would come out. I called back and then told no one was going to come to take care of the issues and they were sorry. They would have the manager call me and that never happend,

Not all the beds were made (6/8), it was okay the first night because not everyone was there. But for the second night we were short, we requested blankets in the morning of the second day but never received them. We were told they would email someone to get it taken care of and they couldn't guarantee we could get our blankets.

The staff was friendly and I know they did all they could but there needs to be a more efficient way to take care of guests when they're missing something.

Overall the experience wasn't bad. The cabin was cozy and we enjoyed the movies.

I had A stay during my birthday weekend with grandchildren. The cabin worked but was in pretty runwdown shape. but nothing major
Fridge door broken handle, cleaning crew did horrible job. Vents full of Dust clogged, I had to clean for it to work. Cough drops under table, closet doors off hinges. Other then that it did not leak and we got a little snow. grandkids had fun. I callled several times to Big bear vacaions and they emailed me saying they refunded $77 off the 160 cleaning fee, lol..and 20% off next stay. 2 nights $800 bill no phone call to discuss just throw a bone of $77 and 20% off next stay. not good customer service in my book.

The place we stayed is nice the house look better than how it looked in the pictures. have everything we need WiFi TV heater and 4 bed room that is enough for us but it is a little pricey for just one night with $900+ not even 24 hour
Just 4pm and check out 10 am.and we have to clean up the trash from we pay for cleaning.but everything else is good from my feeling.thank you.

The staff was wonderful, always helpful. The vacation company it’s self I would recommend. Our Cabin (#1844 - Fawnskin Pines) was clean and nice but not what we expected. Some things that were Advertised it did not have. The owners left odd notes all over making the stay in some ways uncomfortable. The beds in the cabin were very uncomfortable, no one got a good nights sleep. The cabin was not worth the money we paid in our opinion, and we rent cabins in Tahoe regularly. While we would rent through Big Bear vacations again I would not rent this cabin again or recommend it.

Tough weather during my stay at big bear but big bear vacation more the adequately made our stay worth it.

Other than the pictures and the front of the house looking great. The inside of the house was a little disappointing. The place was extremely spacious and the amenities were nice.But when we first entered there was still a bathing suit left on one of the chairs. Then as we started moving our stuff in and turning on the heater to warm up. There was the smell of trash that the previous tenants had forgotten to take out from the kitchen trash. There were no other spare towels or blankets for us to use which were usually available in other places we had rented. Also the ventilation system when we turned on the heater was extremely dusty. You could see a lot of dust and cobwebs in places that people would usually hang out around. We were all experiencing sinus issues with all the dust.

They have a responsive staff with beautiful properties. I would book with big bear vacations again in the future.

The room had cobwebs in all corners of the cabin. The carpet was mildewed with a strong smell. The bedrooms upstairs had absolutely no heat at all my family and me were forced to stay in a freezing room. I wasn’t informed that the cabin had no WiFi. but instead I was offered to upgrade about a month before our checkin. I would think a decent booking clerk would discuss things like that up front. There were no face towels only four bath towels. I was not informed that the driveway had sunken which caused us to get stuck in the snow. If the people can be more up front with customers the business could be more saught after. I won’t come back to Big Bears.com Also the carpet has a huge hole in it.

Upon arrival the it was 50 degrees in the house. We turned the thermostat up to 80 and by morning it was only 55 degrees. We were freezing and had to go out for breakfast just to get warm. We called Big Bear Vacations to report the heater was blowing cold air they told us they could not send anyone over until we got back because of the small dog we had with us. Once back at the house we called again but now had to wait for several hours for a repair man because of heavy traffic in town. Finally a repair man came only to tell us he can't do anything because the heater was in a locked closet. I was ready to pack and leave and request a full refund but we found a couple of space heaters in a closet upstairs that made it bearable. We were only there for the weekend and lost most of our Saturday because of this issue. Also, you need to find a better cleaning crew. We found a Starbucks coffee sleeve and peanuts in the sofa and a used dust rag on the bedroom floor. I sent all this information over to Big Bear Vacations twice had have not received any response. I'm not impressed and probably won't use these services again.

Associates were very helpful in making reservation and checking in/out easy. I would highly recommend using Big Bear Vacations.

Although the location was great, the view of the lake was beautiful and the house was on a nice sized property, the inside of the cabin was another story. There were no working smoke detectors or flash lights. The couch had a gaping hole on one side. It was dirty, full of cobwebs, very rundown and outdated. We were afraid to take our shoes off. The price tag and what you get for that high price tag were definitely not in alignment. Not worth it. We feel ripped off!!

Do not book with Big Bear Vacations
- they rented the cabin out from under me and switched me and my children in an inferior cabin
- the lock box code provided did not work and they were not answering their emergency line or calling back on a Saturday night, and I was forced to drive around for hours looking for a room. Finally we got one of the last 3 rooms in the city at Motel 6 for $400.
- it took 11 days for the manager to contact me after the incident and after I left several messages
- they made only a partial refund for the night
- what would you do with kids in the car late on a Saturday night when you can't get into your cabin and the rental company won't answer their phone or call you back? What happens when every place you go has no vacancy? Freeze?

Great price and service! The Cabin is a little to far uo of a walk but iy is roomy & comfortable!

Smooth booking experience, beautiful cabin, positive customer service experience. I would recommend Big Bear Vacations, and will look forward to booking with them again in the future.

We had a great time. It was adults and two kids. The place was perfect for us.
