Sean? On phone was really helpful but do think the delivery conditions are a little confusing. I thought my mattress would be delivered to room but as a rolled one it would not be. Thankfully the delivery man was extremely helpful and did this for me.

Excellent customer service
I wanted a quilt cover in a particular design that was sold by the company however you could only buy the duvet cover and pillowcases according to the website even though the quilt cover featured in the packaging. I sent a message to customer services and Lee replied immediately & managed to put a link on the site for me so that I could order the appropriate size quilt cover .The quilt cover arrived in 4 days including a weekend. Fantastic! thank you Lee and Better bed company.Excellent customer service.

I ordered a white bed. It was cream.
There was a 'dent' in the metal on the headboard frame.
I would have returned it but I desperately needed a bed.

Don't remember buying anything from them but they've been spamming my inbox twice a day, every day. Not sure how many beds they expect people to buy, but they shouldn't need that volume of messages to persuade customers to buy their product, if it's any good.

FYI - you sometimes don't have to buy to get put on the list, and someone may have used your computer (family member) and accidentally added your email address.

Awful customer service
Encountered some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time with this company. Website states clearly "Free delivery on all orders" and in the delivery section "Before we go any further everything on our site comes with free delivery."
Ordered a bed on Thursday, received a phone call on Friday saying there was a £45 surcharge to deliver to my postcode. When I said this wasn't stated anywhere on the website was told "it only effects 5% of our customers. We don't sell a lot to Scotland. I'm not going to put there might be a surcharge on my website as it will cost me sales".
I've no problem with there being a surcharge for delivery to some areas (although I've never experienced it in my area before as I'm not in the Highlands and islands), but do have a problem when the website says free delivery with no mention anywhere of possible surcharges for some areas.

As I said to you on the phone it should say on your website that some postcodes may be subject to a delivery surcharge for some items. You might not care enough about 5% of your customers to make that clear, but it would save you wasting customers' time and be much better customer service. Or at least don't advertise as "free delivery on all orders" if you can not provide that service on all orders.

Hi Mr Thomason, sorry about your experience. As discussed, this particular brand doesn't provide us with post codes surv charges before the order is placed. We have tried in the past to get these, but we struggle. It's only a few postcodes, so it's hard for us to set the site up for this.
