AlaSCAM The Label

I ordered two dresses from their website in May. The order shipped on May 12th, and I got a tracking number. But the package never left Australia (I am in Europe) — it was sent back to them, which they confirmed. About two weeks later, I was contacted by customer service to check my address (which was correct) and asked to pay a €20 reshipping fee. I said no because it wasn’t my fault the package was returned.

Customer service then claimed it was because I wasn’t home during the delivery attempt(???), and insisted I pay the fee. I asked for a refund, but they said they couldn’t give me a full refund — only store credit, even though I don’t have an account with them. I told them I’m legally entitled to a refund and don’t want store credit. I’ve heard nothing back since.

It’s been almost two months of back-and-forth, and I still haven’t received the dresses or my money. No apology, nothing. They just basically stole my money!

Avoid this company. Or - if you want to have your time wasted, be extremely stressed, ignored and let down - then this is the company for you!
I previously had used this company 3 times, with 0 issues. Was always happy. Until recently. In February I ordered a wedding dress. They told me it would take 90 days to arrive - this was fine, expected. The 90 day passed .. no contact. So I asked how much longer it would be, after a week of waiting for a response they told me it would take another 1-2 weeks. This was annoying, but I waited. And waited. And waited. Eventually it got to 5 months. 19 weeks. A very very large change to the “90 days” I was initially told. Every email I would send would be ignored for atleast 2.5 weeks before a generic short response would come through telling me nothing. No one would tell me where it was. No one would tell me how much longer. And they even had the audacity to have attitude across these emails. Don’t bother with the WhatsApp either - they will ignore you there to. After 6 months they finally emailed me letting me know there were “blue pin stains” on the dress and that they would be starting again. So after 6 months of waiting I was back at square one. They told me it would take 3 weeks. I asked how on earth they could suddenly make it in 3 weeks when they couldn’t in 6 months to which they had nothing to say. They wouldn’t send me photos of the marks. As this was my wedding dress you can imagine the stress, along with the crappy customer service, rude attitude, complete disregard for their incompetence and letting me down again and again. Not to mention the 1000+$ I had spent on the dress. In the end I just lodged a refund and got my money back. I’ve now wasted 6 months though and still have no dress. Not to mention the horrible horrible experience they made out of something that should of been wonderful. I question if there even was a dress. Don’t waste your time.

I placed an order with this company…

I placed an order with this company over two months ago and have yet to receive either the product or a refund. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service, I have received no response. This level of disregard for customers is unacceptable.

At this point, it appears the company is either neglecting its responsibilities or operating fraudulently. I strongly advise others to avoid doing business with them — you risk losing your money with no recourse.

I am now escalating this issue to my payment provider and reporting the business to the appropriate consumer protection agencies.

AVOID

AVOID. I ordered a wedding dress from them. I received a dress that looked nothing like the dress in the online pictures. I emailed them providing them with pictures and asking them if there was a mistake and how I can get reimbursed. The response was that this is the correct dress. I responded that a mistake must have happened because the dress looks nothing like the pictures, again asking how can I return the dress and get reimbursed. No response on how to return/get reimbursed. I tried again, again no response. I contacted my bank to investigate and now Alamour the label customer service contacted me calling me a thief and that they will be pressing charges against me. I am in a state of shock. I am still begging them on a way to return the dress as I am based in the US and they are based in Australia. Again no response on that but rather I am receiving threats. Surreal experience. AVOID

Warning

Warning: Do not buy from this site. My order took two months to arrive. The zipper was broken. Customer service did not respond. No refund, of course. 200 euros thrown in the trash.

Perfect Wedding Dress

The wedding dress is as beautiful as its picture, the sizing was as described. My daughter looks beautiful in it and can’t wait for her big day to arrive. The delivery of the dress was very long but I was kept up to date via watts app and email.

Needs to be a zero stars option for this place

If you're looking for a dressmaking service that sends you the wrong dress and then acts like it's your fault—look no further! Alamour the label Paddington. I placed an order with clear instructions, but apparently, following those was too ambitious. What I received looked nothing like what I asked for—but hey, at least it was technically a “dress,” right?
When I contacted them, expecting a simple apology or solution, I was instead treated to an Olympic-level performance of denial and blame-shifting. Customer service? More like customer gaslighting. Accountability must not be in their stitching kit.
Absolutely unacceptable. If you’re into disappointment, wasted money, and being ignored when things go wrong, this is the place for you.
Oh and no refund.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service, they don’t respond. The quality is really bad and they don’t offer refunds. For the price, you would expect better quality. Never using their service or purchasing from them again. Even if the products are given for free I wouldn’t take them, I would rather put them in the bin.

3.7 Stars is so good compared to what they should be getting... If I could, i would give them a zero.. horrible customer serivce. 100AUD to return any of their items. Shein quality for 100x the price.. ordered a dress that was fully sheer... I had to pay an extra 200USD to line it at the tailor... Worst part about this... they are flagging people's reviews and trying to get them removed if the review is not to their liking so that they can continue to get customers... save your money and order from somewhere else! What a waste of money...

Terrible Experience

Terrible experience. Would NEVER shop at Alamour again.
Weeks of reaching out on every single platform asking why my order was so delayed, to receive one message back weeks later telling me it would be shipped Friday. Friday came and went. More time spent reaching out on all platforms to be told they are understaffed. No recognition of my question, also no answer and no further explanation, just that they are understaffed. Sitting on their online chat for hours multiple days in a row hoping to get answers, not one customer service representative responded. The list goes on. I eventually did receive my order, it isn’t the best quality with beads already coming off.
A very stressful experience.
First and last time I will be an Alamour customer.

Amazing dress and service

Great service, from visiting the Woolloongabba showroom to dress fittings/alterations to the order and delivery of the dress. So many compliments on a stunning dress for my daughter’s formal… thank you for a great experience for this huge milestone event!

Left completely on my own

On March 27th, I ordered what was meant to be my second wedding dress for the outfit change, from alamourthelabel.com. As of today, the package has still not arrived and despite numerous requests for assistance, I have received no support.
I find your attitude truly disgraceful towards a customer who has been reaching out for days, urgently asking for help.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially considering the importance of the occasion.
I strongly advise against purchasing from this website.

Alamour is trying to take down HONEST reviews of their bad products and services

I just got an email yesterday that Alamour flagged my original Trustpilot review written in Feb 2024, as defamatory. I saw a review from another customer stating the same, so it seems they are going around trying to get legitimate bad reviews, taken down. At least it confirms to me that reviews impact them since they are going to such lengths to get HONEST reviews taken down. Thankfully Trustpilot confirmed that there was absolutely nothing defamatory about my review and they will not be taking it down. I will say that given my experience of Alamour and how aggressive their legal team were just over me raising a charge dispute with my credit card company, I won’t be surprised if they take a similar aggressive approach with Trustpilot. Alamour is just an awful company, so buyers beware! Poor quality clothes, awful customer service, no refund given even if dress is faulty you will be stuck with a useless store credit, aggressive legal team who actually sent me a threatening email and now to top all of that, they are trying to take HONEST unfavorable customer reviews down. It’s actually rather pathetic. Please spread the word and stop this company, it’s a total scam. I lost my money and got stuck with their useless store credit, don’t allow the same to happen to you, do not be fooled by the pictures online, you will absolutely regret buying from this company. Thank you Trustpilot for doing the right thing.

SCAM - THEY DELETE BAD REVIEWS

This company has been flagging bad reviews trying to get them taken down on trust pilot. My partner and I both have received emails claiming our reviews were “flagged” for being defamatory when it was just us describing our experience. If we do not comply then trust pilot removes the review. This company is a literal joke and is doing anything they can to keep facade that they are a legitimate company.

Alamour verarscht und betrügt

So schön die Kleider auch sind, bestellt NICHT bei Alamour wenn ihr in Europa die Lieferadresse habt!!!!
Am 05. Februar 2025 habe ich 1 reduziertes Kleid bestellt, das mir schon seit Jahren so so gut gefällt. Daher war ich auch bereit den überteuerten Versand und Zoll zu schlucken.
Das Kleid kam NIE an. Keine Nachricht vom Zoll, kein gar nichts in der Post als Benachrichtigung.
Nur von der Australischen Post ein sehr knappes Onlinetracking, dass das Paket wieder zurück sei. Es ist daraus nicht einmal zu erlesen, ob das Paket jemals überhaupt in Österreich war, geschweige denn in der Nähe meiner Lieferadresse!!
Daraufhin der Kontakt mit dem Kundensupport, der genau NICHTS tut, um den Kunden zu unterstützen.
Ich soll nochmal Versand zahlen. Oder sie behalten mein Kleid und mein Geld als Coupon. DAS IST BETRUG!!
Ja, in den Geschäftsbedingungen steht geschrieben, dass bei Retoure das Geld nur als Coupon für neuen Einkauf gutgeschrieben wird. Aber ich habe nichts zurückgegeben!! Und auch keine Annahme eines Pakets verweigert.
Der Fehler liegt beim Versand und dennoch wird der Kunde verarscht!!
Seit Mitte Februar 2025 fordere ich also vom Kundensupport eine detaillierte Sendungsverfolgung. Der Beweis fehlt um zu zeigen, dass der Fehler bei mir liegt und ich daher draufzahlen müsste. Für Alamour ist es scheinbar unmöglich, von der Post einen genauen Sendungsverlauf zu erhalten. Ganz eindeutig, weil der beweisen würde, dass Alamour oder die Post für eine neue Versendung aufkommen müsste!!! Der Support bearbeitet meinen Fall nicht, sondern schreibt mir immer die gleichen unveränderten Bedingungen zurück, dass ich neuen Versand zahlen soll oder sie behalten das Kleid, das ich bezahlt habe.
Es wäre das einfachste, mir einfach mein Geld zurück zu überweisen damit der Fall abgeschlossen ist. Es ist schon der 22.April und sie lösen das Problem immer noch nicht. Nein, Alamour zieht es vor, den Hass einer potentiellen Kundin für immer auf sich zu ziehen. ACHTUNG, Alamour ist BETRUG und als Kunde wirst du verarscht und für blöd gehalten !!!

Ordered a dress for my wedding

Ordered a dress for my wedding. After speaking to the Paddington store I found out that the dress was a 'strange fit' and I should go to the Paddington store to try on before I purchased. I was not able to make it there so requested a refund. I had to ask for the refund twice before they replied that it will be granted - minis the 10% cancellation fee (which I've never heard of for an in stock product before). I've waited the 10 business days they advised it could take and still do not have my money back. Nor have I received a reply to my email asking where it is. Do not buy from this site, they are very unprofessional and only care about taking your money.
